i'd always wondered how long it would take fish to feed again after being 'tricked' ...well, not long at all

that's pretty cool catching the same fish twice - interesting that getting duped by the first lure didn't put it off feeding. Great glimpse into your sounder work, too Mick - quick question, am i right that the black strips on side-vu are essentially the 'shadow' of the boat, and you're not looking at any marks in that black area - only stuff out to the side (amber bits)? That's the one thing that confuses me about Garmin side-vu. I'm pretty sure I saw a vid where the guy was pointing to dots etc in the black area saying they were fish.

when i was pro fishing for jew they will move if you drop one only a few meters but most people dont know they do that but even in a couple meters of water thry dont go back well most of the time you will see them float back up

I've found when you're solo like that sometimes it's easier getting the lip grips onto em when they're floating as the net spooks em... Smashed my PB though, my biggest was 117 & 14kg
