This is NOT what we expected... | Kurdistan Iraq, Erbil Vlog 

In today's episode we are exploring the city of Erbil in Kurdistan Iraq!
Despite the region as a whole having a bad image portrayed in the media, we find the exact opposite to be true. Erbil is vibrant, bustling, but with a laid back feel - and we felt completely safe the entire time! Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and so pleased to see tourists enjoying their city.
We spent a full day walking around the city seeing some of the main attractions, such as:
- Qaysari Bazaar
- Erbil Citadel
- Jalil Khayat Mosque
- Mudhafaria Minaret
That evening we were taken out for dinner and shisha by Sarmad, the captain of the Erbil Bikers. Sarmad was a huge help during our time planning and travelling through Kudistan Iraq - thank you, Sarmad! / sarmadnehad

We LOVED Erbil and can HIGHLY recommend it to anyone that has the adventurous spirit to visit this country.
