Dan: "Congrats to our boy Fin Wolfard." Arin: "Little late Dan, that came out like 6 months ago" Me: *Checks release date* "Ah yes, November 19th 2021. 6 months ago."
@@Shalakor And what I said still stands, I think you meant to reply to the same person I did, I do agree with you. Though to know what he sounds like, chances are they called him Ross in that time as well. Anyway, the original comment is completely valid, I agree!😁
Arin is really pissing me off with how he keeps grabbing and bringing those damn mecha koopas with him while he's trying to wall jump. JUST THROW THEM BEHIND YOU AND GET RID OF THEM YOU CLOD!!! Stop throwing them forwards so you catch them while you're trying to wall jump, jesus.
An oldschool game you guys should play is Guerrilla War for the NES. I always played it and Contra religiously as a kid and it's 2 player. I'm sure Dan knows the game.
It's unreasonably funny to me that Arin hadn't heard of the original version of "man door hand hook car door" when that's the entire point of the joke.
YESSSS I'm so glad the reveal of the final level went as Ross planned. Shame the goomba joke failed though with Arin spamming fireballs before it was even on screen.
Dan told Arin that it came from the old hook on the door scary story when he originally told him that and he acknowledged it going ‘yeah yeah yeah’ which makes Arin’s newfound surprise at the origin that much funnier lol
@@Jaye3rd89 I dont believe so? I think he was just working out of their office for awhile, but doing his own stuff? Def happy to see them together again though!
Ross was an official member of Game Grumps. He picked up steam on his own channel, ever since then he now focuses on his own content and has officially departed from them.
I'm back again. Probably gonna drown in the sea of comments again this time. More stats: Rubber Rush: 229 Tries (First Try 229: Thirtry), time of 2 : 49 : 21, around 4.3961 episodes taken, 1.35 DPM Take A Bow, Sir: 45 Tries (First Try 45: Universitry Of Minnesotry-Tryn Citries), time of 18 : 26, around 0.4938 episodes taken, 2.33 DPM World 8 Average: 96.4 Tries, time of 1 : 03 : 07, around 1.72 episodes taken, 1.74 DPM World 8 Total: 482 Tries, time of 5 : 15 : 37, around 8.58 episodes taken Grand Averages: 50.68 Tries, time of 28 : 37, around 0.82 episodes taken, 1.71 DPM Grand Totals: 2027 Tries, time of 19 : 04 : 35, around 32.61 episodes taken Interesting Tidbits: DPM is Death Per Minute in case you don't remember. 5 of the Tries on Bow Sir were from Ross and he took up 2 : 02. This episode, Arin reached the point where he did worse on World 8 than MatPat did for the entire Super World, MatPat took 442 on Ross' world. The time hasn't quite gone further than Patthew yet, as it was 6 : 17 : 11, but we might get there in due time. The DPM of Bow Sir is currently higher than the average DPM of any individual world, with 2.2 the closest. It still isn't the highest DPM of any individual stage though. I'm now going to be using college names for the Try puns because Arin once again used all the ones I already had prepared, of which there were 912. Rubber Rush accounts for 11.3% of all Tries on the Grumps' playthrough of the Super World. Rubber Rush accounts for 14.8% of all time spent on the Grumps' playthrough of the Super World. For more stats and shit on the Grumps, Ross, MatPat, and Panga's attempts on Super RubberRoss World, you can find the First Try spreadsheet pinned in the Mario Maker channel of the RubberNinja Discord server.
As an Aussie, Ross on GG reading out slang for them to guess is content directly aimed at me. And we're moving away from saying 'esky' BECAUSE it comes from the racial slur for Inuit, towards 'cooler' or 'ice box'
Aw man, from GameGrumps team member with his own show in Steam Train, to a Guest Grump... It's bittersweet. =') Missed watching the three of you together.
Hearing Dan talk about his thumbs is funny because I also have Clubbed thumbs. Ive never heard them referred to as 'E.T. thumbs' though I remember posting a picture of me holding a DVD, someone in the comments wrote 'WTF your thumbs look like toes'.
I was very disappointed that Danny didn't talk about his trip to Australia, because the music video NSP did for Down Under was wholesome af and I wanted to know more about that trip. And then he tried to remember what he was asked and he couldn't and it was just a sad time all around. That said, I love Ross episodes and finding out that he used to play Gears of War with Soulja Boy is something I didn't expect to learn today, but I'm glad I did.
Speaking of “Paddy Wagons” the whole putting a shot of whisky into a Guinness and calling it an “Irish Car Bomb” I feel funny about because I lived through the troubles and it hurt !
"Previously on gamegrumps"... Ross: "it's rubberross not rubberninja that's the animation channel" 1 min later... 🎵"Rubberninja is our guest on the show"🎵
On the subject of money being diseased: I was a cashier for years. Money is DISGUSTING. We'd handle cash all day and when I'd go on my break I'd have to wash my hands three times before the water would stop running black. WASH YOUR HANDS whenever you touch money, and for the love of all that is holy NEVER touch food after you touched money if you can't wash your hands.
I sat here and I wondered and wondered for like 10 episodes, where's the final stage? Then I realized all the space above what they thought was the final level. Arin and Dan started cheering, I noticed Ross wasn't saying anything, and I smiled so wide knowing EXACTLY what was about to transpire. Ross you clever son of a bitch. Really clever work with the castle. I had no idea you could make it rise out of the lava like that.
Ross: I wouldn’t go to a con yet. Also Ross: *Goes on tour for Scribble Showdown* Yeah, I know cons are massive in comparison to a show, where they also get social distancing just because they are on stage, but them BSB tour tickets fly through the air.
it is fascinating the kind of precautions people think are making them safe, or somehow 'safer' Like I get total paranoia, and I get just letting go completely and giving zero fucks, but nothing in between makes sense to me.
Like how lots of people will never choose to go on a flight due to safety concerns, but will drive their car onto roads where like 10x more people die in accidents every year. (Guess it helps that dying in a plane crash seems "slower"/is more terrifying.)
If you could tell Ross that I legitimately think his final level is one of the coolest levels I’ve seen that would be awesome. I watch a lot of Mario maker content too. That level really shows how far you’ve come sense you started making levels. If you made another super world i know it would be awesome :) but I’m super happy to see you fall in love with animation again! happy late Halloween Ross and grumps!
FACT: Ross sued Seth MacFarlane for using his likeness and character. MacFarlane aged Ross down, switched his accent to English, and renamed him Stewie.
I have to say, I wasn't a huge fan of Ross when he was part of the Grumps empire, but I love the way he's grown. He feels so much more natural now and just enjoying himself.
ive recently heard some harrowing news... the game grumps have started danganronpa 2 on steam could this series be making a return to the channel some time soon? perhaps...
same here, its what got me into the series! i hope they do it every other day, though, because i know a lot of people are just entirely uninterested in danganronpa.
I feel so bad that I didn't find Ross funny back when he was on Grumps. Because og my god he is an absolute joy and I love when he comes on. His dynamic is great. And he's such a sweet dude.
For anyone who still hasn't beaten Take a Bow, Sir, the swinging fire bars are on a global timer as soon as you exit a pipe, exit a door, start the level, or load from a checkpoint. If you time it right, you can wait until the first big main fire bar is enough out of your way to start running and jumping. Also, for anyone who's still struggling with Super Rubber Ross World, it is a very fun and very well made collection of levels which sometimes feel like in-house Nintendo levels, slow-burn Warioware mini-games (which still somehow work pretty dang good), and classic Ross rage levels which strangely don't feel anywhere near as rage inducing as a typical rage level and end up being surprisingly fun... once you get the hang of them.
Dan: "Congrats to Finn Wolfhard for the new Ghostbusters movie" Arin: "A little late Dan, movie came out like 6 months ago..." *Checks IMDB* Ghostbusters Afterlife: Release Date November 19th 2021.....yep so 6 months ago that it's in the future.
He didn't say "movie came out". He said "that came out". Could've been referring to the news that Finn was going to be in it. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, at least, because otherwise it would imply that he has no interest of supporting his friend by seeing the film because he clearly can't have seen it and if he thinks it's been out for six months he probably never would.
Actually, listening again, he clearly says "the trailer came out six months ago". So he clearly was referring to how that would've been a good time to congratulate him.
hey there is a reason why it got so big that it turned into a meme and started to get the amount of hate it does. It was really fucking popular and made a lot of money and fast.
Seeing as how James got a Mario Maker episode and a Wheel of Fortune episode, I'll be waiting for Ross's Wheel of Fortune episode. Same goes for Jaiden's Mario Maker episode. It's an unwritten rule that on Guest Grumps, they must play Wheel of Fortune
@@lh9591 Jaiden completed kaizo, Ross made Super RubberRoss World and James is also no slouch. They would certainly destroy Arin. Though, that would be a fun a video.
Family guy stole footage from a RU-vid video that was posted years before the episode was made then copyright claimed the original video(on two separate occasions. Both NES games, specifically Double Dribble and Tecmo Bowl) so it’s possible they took Arin’s joke. Not to mention that episodes for Family guy are typically written a year or two before they air so they had probably just watched the 10MPH episode when they were writing the episode.
33:47 ok so. Trio of people, all are wacky but can be serious to different degrees, weird improv hypotheticals. You got some Oney Plays in my Game Gruimps
This is a side note cause I know Danny reads the comments. Dude, I was chilling listening to my chill oldies playlist on spoofy, and I came across a song that I could totally see you either sing for karaoke OR covering. Tis a Canadian tune. It's a bop for sure. "This Beat Goes On/Switchin' to Glide" by The Kings Also, you guys are funny.
I wonder if the "rare instance" where Bowser doesn't fall is due to the cloud he put in to continue the sound effects. Bowser might be getting caught on the cloud as he falls if Mario is in just the right position for it to happen.
