What's good ALPHAZ?! Today we are reacting to XTRA XTRA X♾️. The XG Documentary that covers the beginning of the creation of XG, a girl group that's "A New Breed, Breaking Boundaries." In this episode we are finally at the final 7. We open the episode with them moving to their new studio in Korea around the Shooting Star era. We then get taken back to right before their debut where Simon first teases the company's new name and the name of his first girl group. We then move towards a Zoom call that takes place between the parents and the girls. It was truly one of the most beautiful segments of the entire series by far. After that Simon speaks briefly about what makes each of the members unique. And then lastly the girls speak on their dreams and write a letter to themselves that they will place in a time capsule to open 3 years after debut.

Most invested I’ve been for a group, and maybe I’m not well knowledgeable of alot of groups but the fact we see such raw pure personalities and beginnings like this is something so different that separates XG from others. U really feel the realness and u feel like ur part of their story.

Soo... Cocona wants Simon to walk slower, Hinata wants him to drink less Monster, Maya wants him to take some breaks. I think it was cool that Simon saw the qualities in Hinata when others questioned him "this girl!?" He also saw Harvey's unique high voice and Cocona's unique deep voice.

Yes!!! Simon deserves so much praise not only for the music he makes but also how he treats the girls. Xg deserve the best and Simon gives them that. They are truly the perfect team.

For some reason, Chisa's mom yelling out to Hinata and complimenting her hair was soooo wholesome. Feels even more like they really are all bonded as sisters with other parents interacting with other members like that 🫶 + Hinata's dad saying he would dye his hair too, hilarious 😂

What I like from Simon-san though XG mostly training with Korean idol system and many their activities in Korea, he put some 'Japanese' identity on XG music and also with they outfit.

このエピソードでは、嬉し涙だったので、素直に泣くのがずっと楽でした。両親が自分の子供たちをどれほど誇りに思っているかを見て、私はたくさん泣きました。 XGはどこまでも突き進んでいきます！

I’ve been into k-pop and j-pop for half of my life but XG is the only and the first ever group i stand for. I never felt so invested for any group like them before in my life and it’s worth every second being Alphaz, i will support and protect these girls forever. Shout out to Simon-san, best dad to them. We need more appreciation for him ❤ PS. The video call with family part made me sobbed so much 😂

Just seeing XG being themselves is, so infectious. The honesty, humbleness, pureness and love they have for one another including Simon is, so contagious! I admire these 7 girls! Their determination and dedication is out of this world! XG 🐺

I had already watched it 3 times and cried 3 times before watching this. But I watched this a fourth time to see Nate's reaction. And again, I cried. 😭😂😢😅 One thing I noticed from your explanation is that “Girl Gang” was the very first demo song that touched the hearts of the trainees. That's why everyone got so excited the moment they heard it, and Simon said, “I think you've heard of it before...” Somewhere in the episodes before, Juria, Hinata, Harvey, and Cocona too, they were saying, “ I definitely want to perform this! ” “I can't believe it! it’s so amazing ” ”the sound made me so determined!”. It has already planed in the beginning five years ago….incredible . The insane sensation of that MV was Simon's all-out challenge depending on his all life. Thank you Nate. Thank you Simon and his staff. And thank you to XG and their families.❤

I really relate to Simon when he said people might think he's biased but he's truly looking at them objectively. I'm a naturally skeptical person myself and when I first saw them perform, I was a little shocked. I've been watching Kpop since Girl's Generation debuted and I've yet to see a group, any group, that is as harmonious as XG is. Each member is so dynamic - I didn't want to believe it at first but it's just true, they're solid all around.

This is such a beautiful episode, emotional - yes, i bawled my eyes out, the zoom moment between the kids and their parents 😭😭 But more on a sense of pride and happiness that they are finally on their way to fulfill their dreams. Cocona telling us that she felt small because of her looks got me too man 😭😭 This episode made me admire Simon more, he really is XG's PD/DAD/Brother Xtraordinaire. He just loves these girls so much that he goes to extra length so they can fulfill their dreams. We as ALPHAZ believing and admiring the man, because the girls loves and respects him as we do. We are so blessed beyond imagination as fans to be part of this beautiful story. XG GOING ALL THE WAY.

It just shows man.. no matter how talented we all have insecurities and demons we have to conquer ourselves. And each of these girls are the same but they know together they are unstoppable.

@@nattoXG True that. I just got emotional because the baddest Hiphop Maknae oozes swag and confidence when we see her perform. And looking back that she's has this insecurities just made me tear up. They really are unstoppable, XG has shattered so many glass ceilings together and they won't stop there. Together no one can stop them. Superbowl. Coachella. World Tour. All have been pre-destined already, it's just a matter of time.

i think JAKOPS travelled to those countries like Thailand, the PI, etc to do some grass roots promo for XG (pre-debut). he mentioned something like going to those folks he knew from his performer days to promote as well. this guy had a long range plan in place. must be the Monster drinks lol. thanks OGA Nate for sharing the happy tears.

It was a DMTN meet and greet thing I think initially. At least for the one in the Philippines. The DMTN fanclub in PI has the instagram stories still saved to their account. I remember seeing them a couple months ago.

XTRA XTRA is like XG's way of saying "we'll make you fall in love with us, one teardrop at a time (or a whole bucketful lol) Seeing the girls and their parents getting a chance to talk really hit me hard - so much love in that zoom meeting 😢❣ Have to remember that not only were they far away from home, but the pandemic also meant that they really had to stay apart (Maya's admonition to "watch out for Covid" was like a serious dose of reality). On the lighter side, Hinata's dad cracked me up with his blonde joke 😂 Also, to those people whining about Simon... XG is his baby, so why wouldn't he be present during the birth of his child, and his firstborn at that?

I think Simon showed them a Snippet of Shooting Star on that beginning episode. Simon has always been vocal about XG being out of this world and the inspiration behind the company's name which is XGALAXY(now XGALX). And now Shooting Star is XG's breakthrough song

Hi Nate this was absolutely beautiful. I could not help sobbing when they spoke with their parents. Hearing their goals from when they started to now was a great addition to this video. I love how introspective this gets for all 7 of them and Simon. My goodness when I thought I couldn't be more invested in them, after this video I feel like supporting their journey even more as much as I can as a fan! Once in a generation group... XG is really going to break all the barriers and be the new benchmark and we are all so fortunate to be witnessing their stardom unfold ❤❤❤

XG was created in a beautiful way. It is like something that anyone will desire to be part of. Truly inspiring and motivational. What struck me most was Simon-sans' words: "the way you think, will change your life".. and for now Galaxy Stars.. it did, and it always will! Alphaz 🐺 💚 XG 👽
