Airi showed exactly why she was so loved and respected as their leader. Her positivity and nurturing instincts became so deeply ingrained within the group. That legacy helped make XG, not just a force to be reckoned with, but also a group to be loved and looked up to for years to come. As for this tearjerker of an ep, it was really Hinata crying while making that speech which made me lose it. Seeing her break down like that hit hard because she's usually so calm and reserved. And Juria being so distraught that she hid her face... our poor crybaby 😢
@@bn6244 After learning that Jurin had known Airi since grade school, it's not surprising that she was so devastated. And Amy gets pretty emotional, like that time she cried when the others read birthday letters to her.
We didn't see the part where Simon told Jurin about the decision because it destroyed her 😭.. knowing Jurin since she was in fifth grade, that's over 10 years. I was broken hearted.
While likely true, it's still speculation unless we see otherwise. And don't like speculating when it comes to the past of these girls. But considering how far they go back, prob true. But still, we don't know for sure.
I think that there will be another episode. There was that scene in the Xtra Xtra pre episode where Jurin is chastising Chisa about a dance move in the studio telling her that she was overthinking it.
One thing I am very grateful for is that they were trained mentally. The skills, personality and charisma come with the training; but I understand now that the reason behind the "harshness" was to train them mentally. That's why they appear so mature, especially Airi. You said it Nate, the fact that she went back and made it clear to them that they'll have to keep their fire even now that she's not there... Wow!
When Simon said he saw kamiya as a solo artist instead in a group that was the moment I knew he did I it right and just look at her now she is doing and enjoying the music and style she chose ❤I hope kamiya could meet the girls when they come to perform in japan 😊
Damn this episode hit me in my feels hard..... I have so much respect to Airi. She is a true leader. I'm very grateful for all that she's done for XG as a whole. Cannot wait to hear their new album especially Hesanoo. It's gonna hit so different now that we're understanding more and more the deeper core of XG. I truly believe in "XG is a new breed, breaking boundaries."

That was something that didn't hit me until this episode. Her leadership. Up until now you see her and her words when she brings the girls together, but this episode was so much more than words.. but her actions. Totally respect her 100000% she's deserving of the XGALX graduate tag. She is amazing.
It was a very heavy and painful episode. I haven't liked her songs but I've gave all her videos a view and a like. I fully expect XG to eventually come out with a song that I won't like either but that's the same with any artist.

Yes, Hintata has become the roots of XG, that unshakable presence, the glue, Dad of XG. She is popping off even more now vocally and dance than before with GRL GVNG and TGIF. More and more people are making her their Bias, I see it in the comments way more often than before.
I was shook seeing her nearly in a rage, so much emotion nearly exploding out of her. She has transformed. From the quiet, artistic, dark haired girl, to the stunningly, beautiful visual of the group, just like Simon said.
Hey doc 7 was a tear jerker 😢 😢. But I always remember Maya asking are those happy tears. XG documentaries are a open book in what they endure from trainees with a dream to the Artists they are now. Airi being cut was a emotional moment not just for the girls but It was a good taste of emotional reality for all of us. ❤ XG and Airi but show must go on

I saw this one I was crying 😭 like a baby these girls gone threw so much . but at the long run it was worth it. Cause look were my Queen's are at today. ❤
I was planning to watch this after office work, but then again I'm just prolonging the inevitable. This was by far the heaviest. I thought X4 and X6 was heavy. But this episode is something else. Notice the part that when Airi asked the members for a hug after the news, Jurin and Amy were the last ones to do so. Maybe they are still in denial by this point as these 3 Queens has been tight since day one. Cocona and Hinata crying their hearts out is just too much for me. When Hinata heard the news she was stoic, but when it was saying goodbye to Airi she broke down. I broke down too. Again. For the 3rd time. Kamiya imparted a beautiful life lesson to the girls. She will always be part of the XG and vice versa. Jurin taking over as a leader was a challenge, but her natural abilities and with the love and support from the members she blazed through the challenges.
AIRI has a youtube channel and she puts out solo music a lot of alphaz are supporting her over there and streaming her songs the comments on her videos make me tear because of the support from alphaz T.G.I.F and Hesonoo will never be the same to me the reason why is because of the number 8 in T.G.I.F my delusional self is thinking it was like a tribute to AIRI and hesonoo because of AIRI too and her letter to the members i no longer think of xg as 7 they are now 8 in my mind

Maya and Hinata spoke so wisely and understanding. They knew the value Airi bestowed and wanted to do right by her as best they could. Given if everyone had a voice in this group, and if they were to be as one, they would have kept Airi. Unfortunately they did not have the power to do so at this time. Maybe one day, they will all reunite and perform together. ❤
Airi - I am sorry you didn’t end up with the team YOU helped shaped so TREMENDOUSLY. I am sorry XG, more so Simon releasing these during your times of celebration. Simon knew what he was doing. He saw that Airi was a leader they DID NOT QUESTION. Her ability to communicate no MATTER what was something that was so special to witness. The manipulation Simon put these girls through, is beyond me. Sure they grow stronger as 7 and did so without Airi, but it Airi who gave them all their strengths as no one was wanting to step up besides her, in the beginning. I wonder how XG8 would have done with Airi’s Stellar communication, in this present day. Simon needed to teach them the harsh realities of losing someone so important and bright/a leader, and I am sorry that was you Airi. This was something I didn’t agree with. This was manipulation and I was not here for it. Praise Simon all you want, this was something disrespectful to the team that was understanding their strengths TOGETHER and also to Airi. It sucks that they were so young to have to go through this, and what can you do as a young person? Say no? Imagine if they were all around 22/21 and Simon pulled this, I don’t think it would have gone well, as they would have more say. It is a valid opinion, but we are bridging a lot of assumptions to draw this picture. For instance, you don't know what was communicated to Airi outside of the 2 clips during the initial cut and the final cut. You don't know if they had checkins with her throughout her tenure to make it clear that at the point in time there was no intention. You cannot truly believe the only two times she was communicated to about her situation was Nov 2019 and Nov 2020. This whole series leading up until this point has been about transparency with the girls. To start painting some assumed narrative that suddenly after Nov 2019 Simon and XGALX decided to just turn their backs on them and start stringing people along is a stretch and really disrespectful. Let's pretend it happened the way you say it did... do you believe Airi and the girls would be on good terms like they are today? Do you think she would still be commenting and posting pictures with Simon to this day? Do you think she won't have a single bad thing about how she was managed 3 years later? Don't you think they'd ask for this footage to be blocked? What is the point of XGALX even telling this story if this is the conclusion you are going to come to? I get being upset for Airi. But dragging Simon using assumptions is really really poor taste. This is someone all the girls, including Airi, Hikaru, Rei all look up to and are eternally grateful towards. If it’s one thing that I can truly take away from Simons way of how he formed XG, always be prepared for the unsure future, and move forward. There are going to be things each and every fan/supporter will not be happy about. We all won’t be fulfilled in all our wants and desire, it’s without a doubt, no matter how they were formed and how I became exposed to them, I am still in support of all of them, especially the remaining 10 to 8 and to the now 7. I might be wrong, but I start to think the Juria's straing cut bangs hairstyle is some kind of a hommage for Airi. The bangs hairstyle was Airi's trademark at that time. I saw Juria cut her fringe straight using scissors by herself before Kcon Japan stage. She is always thinking Airi is beside them.

Feels quite sudden because they didn't quite focus on the fact that Airi was their leader all this time. It was more of a group approach. Nevertheless it was very hard to watch because they were all so close to her and depended on her.
