Ahoy!
There's an old saying, "never say never". I cannot say for sure if this will be my last watch video. However, recently I've found myself feeling slightly lost and out in the cold when it comes to watches.
Life is short and if I'm being entirely honest I'm not sure if or how I fit into this space. So, this COULD be my last video for a while. Perhaps it will be my last watch video ever. Who knows?
Fortunately, I'm good at coding and, for now, I'm going to be focusing more on that. You are welcome to check in with me on my other RU-vid channel if coding if your thing. It's at: / davidjconnelly

I've enjoyed your videos a lot David, more so your personality and take on things, particularly Chinese homage watches. I think that I will subscribe to your coding channel even though I have no interest in it! Thanks for the entertainment. Perhaps you'll be back talking about watches again if you find your niche in the watch world -- I hope so.

Oh man, I am sorry ebay was a bust and I will miss your channel if you stop posting. I personally don't see any appeal to chinese watches and can agree with your assessment. I also don't subscribe or follow the bigger watch channels, is the drama interesting?

Thank you! It's all fine. I feel great. I'm VERY early into this channel and had barely left the starting blocks. Usually, if I get my teeth into something I never give up. However, I'm just struggling to see where or how I fit into the watch space. With no clear path to victory and without clarity about what winning looks like, it seems sort of directionless. I will surely continue to enjoy watches but, for me, it's a deeply personal thing. I'm not sure if I'm willing to talk about that on the web and I'm not even sure how I could make it interesting. As for the drama? The drama is dramatic. Nevertheless, watch people are good people.

Why not go down the indian watch industry for a vid? whether it be a frankenseiko or hmt etc, they are all about recycling at least AND indians typically treat animals and others with the utmost respect. You did mention previously they do flood ebay with watches BUT they are at least worth a shot. certainly the polar opposite of the *flex* type youtubers
