In my first 17 years in life, I was a snot. I was often mean and had a destructive temper, caused by my abusive father and teachers. When I joined rugby in my final year in High School, I found true happiness. Despite giving and taking some nasty tackles, I felt at peace. I learned respect and the fundamentals of hard-fought competition, and was in the best shape of my young life. As an American, I use to play gridiron football, which I quit not far from when I joined rugby. According to my brother, he said that I seemed happier after a loss in rugby than I did a win in football. Rugby completely changed who I was as a person as well. In rugby, they teach you the rules, run throughs, and how to win. In football (club or gridiron), they teach you how to be disrespectful, and they believe that will win them games. I'm coming back to rugby as there is a rugby club nearby that'll be opening up; I don't how it's like worldwide, but in the USA, every team is sanctioned by US Eagles Rugby, and I would love to get good enough to even become a reserve, let alone a starter or bench. Hopefully we can figure out our bankruptcy problem before then, or fold and start over. Love from 🇺🇸, as said before.

Good luck mate!!! Rugby is a game where you can be physical in a respectful way. And the game in the U.S is beginning to develop a lot more now. And that's great to see. And enjoy the social aspect of the game. Here in the U.K and pretty much every other country where the game is played, we have a few beers with the opposition after the game.

It sucks to be a big rugby lover and be from a small rugby nation like NAMIBIA, the only time we get world attention is at the Rugby World Cup, even though we are not that competitive. Always proud to see our boy Jacques Burger (02:50), I hope we produce another marvellous player like him again.

@@geokomalo2790 Yes. I would have really really loved to see a yearly competition for Tier 2 & 3 Nations, similar to Rugby Championship and Six Nations. Northern Hemisphere Tier 2 & 3 follow Six Nations calendar, Southern Hemisphere Tier 2 & 3 follow Rugby Championship calendar, and then top 2 from each meet in a semifinal then final play offs!

Yo soy de Argentina lastima que acá no hay tanto seguimiento de este deporte, claro tenemos a los pumas pero no hay tanta atención como la que se le deberia dar, estan todos alentando a jugadores multimillonarios de futbol pero nada de este deporte. Algun dia en el futuro espero que se haga un deporte muchisimo más querido, ya que con el tiempo se fue desintegrando. What i never got with rugby highlights is they always include illegal plays, such as the tackle at 3:43 which is a straight red card, why include it? There thousands of powerful and completely legal tackles.
