PTD came at a time during the pandemic that ARMY was really looking forward to BTS starting back up with their meaningful and super deep lyrics. So when we found out that it was the 3rd track that they would be releasing in English, I know there's a lot of fans who continue to be let down to this day. You'll see as you work your way into their discography how deep, poetic, and meaningful the lyrics can be, while also being catchy af. That being said, there are definitely a lot of fans who hold this song near and dear to their heart, as many many people became ARMY after hearing it. PTD was definitely an ear worm that crawled into your brain and never let go. And it also gave us their last whole group (OT7-One True 7) tour in LA and Vegas, so I AM thankful for that. But you wait and see, there's a reason why I would rate this in the bottom quarter of their songs. Thank you for all the work you do! I hope you have a good one!

I personally loved this! Very uplifting! It does not matter to me what the language it is. This was meant to be light and encouraging during one of the hardest time this world had facd, still face.

yeaaaah about the «theyʼre them» itʼs so true!! cause as an asian kid who grew up in a white country there was little to none people who i could look up to and see myself in them (moreover most of the times asians in my country were portrayed in a comical way in a way that said that asians are dumber than white people and that always discouraged me). bts are still very looked upon in my country because of the fact that theyʼre asian men “who look like girls”. and the fact that they fight with these stereotypes and give strength to people like me make me love them from the bottom of my heart. youʼre great dude. keep going with these reactions 💜

These solo songs released just before two of them join the military, in some point these kids represent army 😢

You my friend have fallen down the BTS rabbit hole and it is one of the most fun,entertaining,heartbreaking at times ,places to be. Enjoy your journey I know I have. Their music has helped me get out of a dark place and I am so happy to be an Army.

This isn't really one of my favorite BTS songs but I get teary eyed every time I see it! I feel you 💜what a message to receive during the pandemic, they were so down that entire time but somehow totally managed to bring comfort to an insane amount of people around the world. These guys are a god send and I'm SO glad and relieved they have each other to lean on and that they trust us to cheer them on through anything 💜

One thing I love about BTS is the versatility. I can find a song for any mood, deep and reflective or just plain happy and want to dance. Not seeing other groups don’t do that but BTS covers it all for me.

And 6.....count 'em....6 sold out concert dates in Las Vegas last year at the Stadium with their Permission To Dance tour! The entire city of Vegas went purple! Lights, special BTS rooms etc. V coined the phrase I Purple You! I love you! And youll see the Korean heart used many times in interviews parties and concerts, thumb crossing over index finger! Love that you picked up on their humbleness and wholesomeness. Their early work is goid too, but more firey!❤

I love your outlook on this video and song! One thing to point out is the dance they do during the "da na na" part. They're basically telling everyone to dance and have fun together in sign language. The reaction from people who primarily communicate through sign language when this song came out was so heartwarming a made me love BTS even more

Btw they use the American sign language for « dance » in their choreo and as a deaf person it meant something to me…. But yeah, it is wholesome !!

I hear you, even though this is a really cheerful song it made me cry so much because it was so sweet and at the time it felt so hopeful when vaccines and everything were starting to make it so society could get back to normal, or the new normal. It's one of my favorite mv's too.

As far as the entire group is concerned, don't miss out on the songs "Run BTS" (1. the Yet to Come in Busan Concert version first, then 2. Watch the practice video); Black Swan; Blood, Sweat, and Tears; Fake Love; "Fix You" (their cover for the Coldplay song - they eventually collaborated with Coldplay on the song "My Universe" which also a must-see!); "Your Eyes Tell" and "Film Out" (Japanese songs but incredible stage presence, vocals and rap from the members!) As some viewers might have already shared, there's not just one genre BTS has done music for and each time, they push the boundaries of "K-pop" music per se. :D It's like they have created their own genre of incorporating a couple or more styles into some of their songs and they have definitely tried their hand at anything they could try! As Suga once said, the scary part about BTS is that there is no limit to what they can do. ARMY definitely has seen that in action! :) Once you've gotten a good feel of their songs, it would be worth looking into 'documentaries' or ''Introduction to BTS"' videos (I recommend xCeleste's and Taylor's versions). It would be a nice way to start your journey to watch their videos first since you'll have gained the appreciation of their music before appreciating the artists more by knowing how grounded, down-to-earth, and hardworking these boys are. :) They're definitely multi-talented and they create their own music (along with other artists and producers) - something that we genuinely admire about them! :) They are sincere about their love for music, choosing their lyrics, and most especially for their love for ARMY. btw, looking forward to more of your reaction videos! For some reason I feel like those two kids are Son Sungdeuk's two kids. Sungdeuk is their main choreographer and BTS has been there and been uncles to those kids since birth. We see them holding them a lot. Because it was a boy and a girl, I just assumed. I could be wrong and they are paid actors...like many others.

Loved your reaction, just... Permission to Dance is I think their one miss, lol. It doesn't have any of BTS's usual depth, It sounds like a kids bop song, and since Ed Sheeran wrote it for them, I feel like BTS had to hype it up whether they wanted to or not. The rappers don't even get to rap on it! It's so weird. There's a lot of ARMY who do like it though. And it IS super wholesome. I just hope you don't think this is representative of their style.

hello i just stopped watching your video with your 4 reactions too fake love, black swan, spring day, which was ******** about the pandemic filmed during the ******* pandemic was directed by Jungkook the youngest member of BTS. Permission to dance is actually about the end of the pandemic. The fine in the music video shows the places they were going to go on their concert tour but the pandemic was resurgent, so they had to cancel their tour. It was rescheduled for December 2021 in Los Angeles CA tickets sold out within minutes one or two months before the concert. People went to the concert in Los Angeles CA from over 65 different countries because those were the only dates 2 days. But they added four more days of concerts and Las Vegas NV I think it was in April 2022.
