Oss! Thank you for video! I use snap kick a lot. Im a simple man and gyakazuki , meageri and mawashi are my favourite techniques 👊 Snap kick is a great setup for question mark or hook kick. More suited to offence for me. Push kick is great when someone runs at you :)
Do you make a distinction between a push kick and a thrust kick (kekomi) because they are different? The thrust kick is more useful than the snap kick as a stop kick. I think of the push kick as more of a pseudo kick because it's mostly used to push the opponent away rather than do damage. Whereas the thrust kick can stop an attacker coming forward and do damage.
Senseis, can i start training online with your dojo if i want to learn your karate even if im from another country and my goal is to be a professional figher and learn while i go to a local gym so i can start making my way to fights in my town? what do you think? Do you recommend it?
Good evening Sensei I am Italian I don't know if I understoond what do you mean but I tkink Who you saying that snap kick Is that you use more(all karateka do this), but on my opinion there Is a problem if you use Mae Geri keage especially on self defense if the weight of your opponent Is greater than you and It come toward to you It can unbalance to you. Depende also by the situation your Brother won a Mach with snap kick on fly.
