I can think of one: Spider-Man No Way Home, 2021, Peter Parker is seconds away from being killed by the Sinister Six when Spider-Man and Spider-Man return, swing through the air and help him fight back
He was my first Hero. My first inspiration. Spider-Man represents perseverance better than any hero in my eyes, and the strength to continue holding on. Fantastic work!
Peter Parker's 'mental battle' with Ben in Spider-Man 2 is still one of the best moments in a superhero film. Since he isn't talking to Ben himself, but a perception of him that represents his responsibility & guilt.
Facts the Raimi movies really made Peter's mental state a key factor, an the other movies just kind of overlook it, the only other time we really see Peter's mental state is Tasm 2 after Gwen died, (I'm not counting post Endgame Spider-Man because he was sad after Tony died but it's not like he gave up being Spider-Man, he was still doing the same things he would have done if Tony were still alive.)
With Great Power comes Great Responsibility. The superhero who defined a generation and Spider-Man 2 is my all time favourite Spider-Man! What makes the trilogy great is that a fictional character taught us so much
@Vampless idk people just keep bringing it up in every spider man related topic its getting annoying, I can't watch a single spider man video without people slandering one or the other spider man
Spider-Man tobeys is my favorite super hero. I remember I was a kid and I was praying to God that He would make me like spider man so I could be a hero. He really inspired an entire generation of young men and women to be heroes. I still feel it in my bones. When I watch this movie. I cry not cause I’m sad cause I feel like I have so much passion in me to help others. Spider-Man you are my hero
I feel like Raimi's trilogy was an "adult" spiderman whereas MCU's spiderman seems to be more kid's friendly and childish generally, and I like both by the way. Also this edit is magnificent.
I think the MCU trilogy preferred to take a step back, bringing back the 60's style Spider-Man who was a young, family-friendly hero. Of course, those stories would sounds rather childish nowadays, comics evolved tremendously, and in a darker direction for most. I'm expecting MCU to use the rather innocent Spider-Man first, to bring progressively to a more mature, grimmer version as he faces one trial after another. We already see some of that when comparing Homecoming to Far from Home. And the big question is, will they manage to keep Spider-Man's optimism and perseverance, while throwing more trials and darkness his way.
Hollywood can’t compete with this trilogy. The action, the plot, the characters. Aunt May hasn’t been well cast since this trilogy. Or uncle Ben for that matter.
@@yopedraza for me no way. Sally fields seemed like this confused stressed aunt. And I couldn’t really take Martin sheen seriously. But If you enjoyed them, that’s all that matters.
@@sherlockmaverick I mean I like Marisa, just feel like she’s more the hot aunt rather than how Aunt may in the original trilogy had some of the best dialogue with Peter. I loved Marisa in my cousin Vinny.
Kids these days will never know what it was like when these movies (especially 1 and 2) hit theaters in '02 and '04. Superhero movies were NOT a thing, and these movies just OWNED the summer. They are a huge reason why the MCU exists now as it does. Along with the X-Men films, these were groundbreaking.
that was an incredible and stunning cinematic experience to say the least. Tobey will forever be my favorite Spider-Man and this video just made me love him even more. Thank you for making this.
Perfectly captured the essence and emotion evoked by Sam Raimi’s trilogy. Although no iteration or adaptation could compete with this one, it will be so good to see Tobey return this year. Been a subscriber of yours since Logan, but I must say, this might just be your finest work
What I love about this trilogy isn't just the purity of who Peter is, but the fact that we get to see why he's that way. We get time with Ben and May, and see how much of an impact their lessons of life have on making Peter the good man he grows into, and later a hero for the city he loves. Their words and speeches of inspiration to him are so powerful, and it's just lovely that a boy who was orphaned in an act of tragedy fell into such loving and moral hands as Ben and May. Their lessons don't just serve Peter well, they are timeless values that we should all strive to uphold in our day to day lives.
I hope so too. What a crazy journey from the early 2000s. A great period of time to be a spiderman fan. Not all movies were awesome. But this moment when all three Peters appear will be...
This Spider-Man has helped me and everyone with the strength and responsibility and forgiveness we use to bring good to the old and new world this film taught us all responsibility
For me, Tobey's spider-man is not just a superhero...it's a series of emotions. Watching this video was a like letting those emotions talk... Great job ❤
I’m 25 years old, and you’ve made me feel like I was in kindergarten again seeing the first movie, like I was in second grade again seeing the second movie and even like I was in fifth grade again seeing the third movie. Thank you.
This trilogy (and the character of Spider-Man, with the writers and artists who have portrayed him) taught me a lot of moral principles that can be and should be lived by... Doing something good for the sake of it. Nothing selfish, nothing to gain out of... Just plain ol' goodness
My dad just watched No Way Home last week. He was a huge fan of the Sam Rami ones. And the comics. He was flubbing and couldn't voice why he enjoyed it so much. He is 65 years old.
These movies will stay with me forever. I remember watching the first movie as a kid, and seeing such epic and emotional moments on the big screen with my wide-eyed nine year old stare. Of course the action was insane, the music powerful, the cinematography through the roof, but it's always the messages that ring truest to me when I reflect on these films. I've had a lot of hard times lately, and all I have to do is remind myself of Peter's journey and this trilogy full of such heart, and I find a strength to keep going, to try and do as much good for as many as I can, and to remember that responsibility, fairness, goodness and humility are the cornerstones of leading a valued and valuable life. Peter has and always will be a defining and inspirational hero of my life, and he has given me a lot of strength in times when I needed motivation to carry on, no matter my age or circumstance. The beautiful thing about this trilogy is that you can come back to it no matter how old you are or where you're at in life and find something to take away from these movies to improve your life and the lives of those around you like only true art can. If I can look back and say that I was just a shred as good as Peter is in these films by the time my life is at an end, then I can rest easy.
''But there is one thing they like more then a hero: its to see a hero fail!''. I never thought about how this phrase define exactly why spider-man its so relatable to everybody. dawn, awesome.
The perfect characterisation of spiderman, the inner conflict, the moral integrity of peter as a person and the decision to the right thing regardless of the consquences he will suffer, far more meaning than a boy trying to impress a billionaire in a suit of armor
Tobey’s Spidey was my first superhero. No one compares to him and his trilogy. I’m gonna cry like a baby when I see him in No Way Home T_T chills when the theme song plays
To me Tobey Maguire is the Luke Skywalker of the Spider-Man, because he gave me hope to never gives up, and we can all have our downfall but we can learn to get up and fight it.
I absolutely loved this. I grew up with this Spider-Man and is still my favorite superhero to this day. You captured the best qualities of those movies and the character. Bravo, sir.
Amazing video. You have managed to capture the true nature of Spiderman, just as you say in the description. It has moved me and reminded me of that excellent trilogy by Sam Reimi and the incredible performance of Tobey Maguire, as well as the rest of the cast. And I really liked the last words with Stan Lee. Thanks!
I’m sorry I’m two weeks late. This was phenomenal.. it bring tears .. brings back memories.. brought back my childhood this video is everything. Spider-Man is a hero I will always love and look up to.. Thanks for making this video!!
Peter Parker's Uncle and Aunt are the philosophers with a heart of gold No wonder peter turned a selfless most relatable hero the way he is. I wish I had parents like peter
Bro it is the most beautiful video that can resume this fabulous trilogy. We both share the same passion for these films and we both learnt from them. All the morals learnt us the most important things in life and made us stronger. Thank you Sam Raimi, thank you Spiderman for being the best hero of all times. We'll remember all of your sentences, morals and they will help us in life again and again. We are lucky to have understood the goal of this trilogy. It's not an average superhero film with love and fights ,no, it's more than this and we have caught this opportunity, this chance. I could never thank enough these films, explain how I feel it. Spiderman has changed my life. "Enough said"
I love this so much. I was thinking of giving these gems a rewatch not too long ago and I'm so glad I didn't make a mistake of not doing it. You did your thing yet again, Garo! BRAVO!
I will never hate spiderman and thank you for inspiring me since i was a young boy! Even if all civilization ended i would still tell the tales of the friendly neighbourhood spiderman to the new generation!
I believe this trilogy, taught many huge life lessons that will happen somewhere in our lives, but also it taught us what it means to be a “hero” and no matter what happens, we must persevere and move forward.
I love this homage to the spiderman of my childhood. It's such a pure edit, and the power behind these clips genuinely brought me to shameless tears. Well done.
oh man...the chills. that trilogy is our childhood and i am so hyped for "no way home". im gonna watch it at the cinema as soon as it comes out and we all together are gonna feel like when we were kids. no words for you work garo, just thank you.!
I watched these movies all the time when I was a kid and because of them I always wanted to be spiderman. Watching them now and seeing Tobey swing from building to building and it reminds me why I loved spiderman so much
I believe the original heroes stories were there to help us compare our problems to those with great might and will, to show us that no one is perfect or invincible, that they go through what we do and that they have the same problems as us, even if they have a greater responsibility. They lost their choice, they gave it up for the rest of the population, for their friends and their families. That is something that the original trilogy captures so well in my opinion.
Spiderman the hero that inspires everyone to hold for a little longer no matter why thank you for truly showing the struggles he goes through to make sure the world is safe 🥲
