Posting this just like every video, there is absolutely no reason to bring mage gear for MA1. Splashes count so the simplest option is to just wear full iron and splash 100x on your alt, or if you don't have any alt just splash 100x on a mage.

no, if you have skull prevention on, you can only become skulled by entering the abyss, asking the emblem trader for a skull, or equipping a avarice or cape of skulls. Or hopping to a high risk world.
