I just realized you can try to look for hidden mickeys in this video. Also that would mean you'd be watching more Mudan trying to find them. A win win.
Y'know. I'm just realizing the ambition of this year long project. Something different for 365 days WHILE having to keep up with work, relationships, and health in a land he's never been before. applaud 👏
Potentially important info: the big Gundam in Yokohama is closing permanently on the 31st of this month. On the 31st there will be a big closing show with drones and fireworks. There is/was a lottery for the tickets, but I imagine you can see it from the outside
I’ve been to both Tokyo Disney and Disney sea, and tbh we ride quite a lot. I was there in May and December, both were Wednesdays and weather was good I can’t say lines were that crazy. During first time it was my first Disneyland experience, and second time I was on a date, so snuggling with my ex was a part of the experience lol. I liked Disney sea more because it provides more interesting rides for adults, like tower of terror.
When I lived in Japan in 2006 it was the same way - rain would not stop crowds at Disneyland. The only hack I ever came up with was to go during exams AND rain AND cold.
If you're just going solo I'd recommend DisneySea. Much more chill vibe and there's 2 rides with solo queuing. I skipped a 2hr queue twice for Indiana Jones
DisneySea is worth it. I don't particularly like Disneyland but I loved all of the international / historical themes for all the areas, definitely the best amusement park I've ever been to.
If you ever decide to make a video about Senso-ji temple or asakusa there is a really nice bar nearby called shisha bon. Durin my 2 trips to japan last year I've spent many evenings there and grew quite close with the owner it's a rela cozy place. However you don't stike me as someone who smokes shisha sho I would recommend public house ZEN it's in the building next to it on the 5th floor and run by the same guy. I's a small bar with a nice balcony and I had a lot of fun there. Maybe you will too. 😅 Or anyone reading this I can't recommend it enough.
I'd recommend checking out Disney Sea on one of the days - it's next to Disneyland and imo a lot cooler and more unique. Disneyland Tokyo is mostly just a copy of the other Disneylands but Disney Sea has some amazing rides that you can't find anywhere else - it was the most expensive theme park to ever be built, costing over $4b!
These daily vlogs are so good man! I'd love to see you do a USJ vlog in Osaka! I went early this year during my trip to Japan and it was glorious! Definitely worth the express pass which you need to enter Super Nintendo World (make sure to get the Flying Dinosaur one which also happens to be the cheapest of the express pass - The Flying Dinosaur is also the best ride!)
Man bro has such good taste in music, or maybe we have the same taste in music, I have added so many new songs to my list. Would love it if we can get your Spotify playlist.
I got on every (operating) ride in Disneyland Paris a few years back in one day. I just went on a Wednesday right at the beginning of June. Apparently it's illegal to take kids out of class for a vacation in France, so there were no local families and the lines were super short. Some of the top rides were closed for refurbishment at the time, so that might have contributed to shorter lines. Tokyo Disney announced that it is closing and replacing Space Mountain, so that's probably the reason for the long line all day. Got to get one last ride.
This might have been my favorite vlog so far. I think the rainy and more chill vibe really is my style. I forgot to comment on the last episode but I do prefer the 8+ minute videos like this one. Anyway, no babysitter today?! or the other guy... I don't know his name sorry. My mom made a joke about how you'll get sick since you were out in the Japan rain for more than 15 seconds.
The waving thing also happens when you ride the old steam locomotives around Japan. Everyone stops and waves at the train, even white water rafters, which you would think is dangerous.
I remember going on Space Mountain at Tokyo Disney, and the ride broke down at the end. We all thought it was a part of the ride... until 5 minutes passed and then an intercom informed us to wait for assistance. We were there for 15 minutes... not every day you can say you broke Space Mountain :)
MUDAN OMFG get out of the rain!!!! I went to Tokyo Disneyland the other day and it was PACKED because it's graduation season atm so there's loads of students going!!! We only made it onto two rides because wait times were so long rip :(((
I used to work at a theme park as well, days where light rain are forecasted are the BEST days because people don't go because of the rain, but there isn't enough rain to shut down the rides or make your day miserable. 😉
go to odaiba to joypolice and shoot some zombies on VR and play other arcade games like the gundam wher you literally turn overhad when flying upside down
On a good day, you can do 20 rides, on April last year I managed to do 17 rides while not being in the park till it closed (8.30 AM - 6.30PM). I did use the privilege of staying in disney hotel which is makes me able to enter the park 15 minutes earlier than other guests (which I used to take down beauty and the beast ride, if not, that ride will be like 70-120 minutes)
Went to USJ in September, during the extended Summer, 36°c, 90% humidity, tarmac and concrete everywhere. Left at 12:30 because it was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. The rain doesn’t sound bad when compared 😂
wow the last time i went to a theme park they just shut down most of the ride because of a light rain and seeing all of the line for the ride is so crazy
Jp folks are hardcore. Was planning on hitting both Disney parks last Japan trip only did sea. Was a bit traumatized by the waits. Really should have bought fast pass but they sold out by the afternoon so I waited like 3 hrs for the last ride for me. Twilight tower. It was like 40f outside too and girls be rocking miniskirts
It's awesome isn't it?! Suits him so well too 😊 I think he said he got it from Glamb in Japan (where Connor buys all this clothes that aren't a purple TT tee). They have amazing menswear there inc lots of anime collabs like JoJos.
@iphonedjoey You're very welcome 😊 I agree it really does suit him well 🤩 You should totally get one - I'm sure it will look great on you too 😊 However, if it is from Glamb, it's likely to be pretty expensive, but they do ship worldwide 🌐
Yes!!! That’s what my friends and I did not just at Disney but other places like Fuji q and Yokohama sea paradise. Got to pet some dolphins lol. Also I miss them thicc thigh jks
