The matchups made the deck look more strong than it is. Nevertheless the deck is indeed strong. I play delver for 10+ years now. Can't do anything else anymore.

Hello. Any tips for playing this against Death's Shadow please? Have a bud who plays that and don't know what the general strats are. Ta! 🤔 Also thank you for not putting the match results in the title or description. It's definitely the best choice entertainment-wise and will hopefully get you more views and subscribers in the long run. ❤️

The Shadow matchup feels kind of similar to Delver mirrors, but it's worth keeping in mind that the creatures involved tend to be bigger. You want to keep fetching Volcs to dodge the swampwalk on the Wraith until you need black and bare in mind that Murktide Regent is kind of the big haymaker on both sides, so make sure you have a plan. Generally speaking you are the aggressor in the match up as you have the bigger suite of one drops. Don't try to Wasteland your opponent out unless you are significantly ahead and can do it to stop murktides. Having the mana to pay around Daze can be more clutch than taking one land from your opponent as they have a lot of one drop plays and can operate on a single land effectively with even more free spells due to Snuff Outs etc.

Definitely think this deck is top dog. It just has so much game against everything, and the floor for the power level of the cards is super high. We will see what MH3 brings, but some form of delver will probably continue to be the best deck unless a major shake-up happens.
