This is The BEST MOD I've Ever Seen!

A few notes I wanna put out: -Instead of just a short walk to the boss and maybe an enemy encounter like other pasts, there’s a whole floor worth of enemies -The first boss looks like a square on a stick -Said first boss is killed partway through by actual boss -Goliath is fighting you to test you -While I’m willing to accept all these as coincidence, what I won’t consider coincidence is the area before the hallway having “P-2” on the floor Ultrakill reference or not, this past is still really cool and like the concept of going through an entire floors worth of enemies to be able to kill the past

ok this past is HUGELY inspired by the hardest level in ultrakill (P-2) I can tell because you have to go through a very long and hard gauntlet before battling the boss instead of just having the boss fight like in other pasts (just like in ultrakill). There's a tiny room with 4 enemies before a big room with lots of enemies which is just like the first room you fight in P-2. Not mentioning that in that exact room theres P-2 written on the floor. and the final boss has 2 phases. one which looks almost identical to the panopticon in ultrakill which when you survive for an specific amount of time the actual boss comes in and kills it, leading to the actual bossfight. This past and chracter is REALLY cool and i hope this game keeps getting this love from the community with more modded stuff!!!

thanks for having fun with it! as everyone pointed out, the past is a very on-the-nose reference to P-2 from Ultrakill, mostly because thats the last place most people expected an actual gauntlet to be, and the fact I think the level is really cool with very creative (and very evil) combat sections. The Past is very hard and I dont really blame anyone for cheating through it for the purpose of a showcase, but I also did beat the Past fully without cheating before I released the mod so I could at least verify it is possible. The past overall took 2 months to make and I am very happy with how it turned out overall :)

Honestly, I'm not even mad at you for cheating in armor and items - modular's past is by far the most difficult thing I had to do in EtG, modded included. Sure, there are a lot of challenging things in EtG modded, like ouroboros difficulty (kinda like Slay the Spire Ascension version) and others, but this past... Is just straight up pain maximized. I've played EtG for god knows how much, beaten everything I could, and this past made me grind my teeth. I feel like the developer made a huge work with the character itself, as well as the other big mod he's working on (Planetside of Gunymede, btw, recommend to check it out as well), but modular's past is just too difficult - many difficult rooms, painful patterns, and then boss as well. It's just overwhelming.
