The MK8 GTI is a beautiful sounding car but it gets even better with the install of the Unitronic Carbon Fibre Air Intake System. I was already falling in love with this car but wait till you hear how it sounds after this beauty gets installed! Not only does it sound good, it looks fantastic with the carbon fibre under the hood, and it will definitely help with performance gains with a little push from the ECU. Cool video. Good looking rig. Did you install any blowoffs for the turbo? Sounds like it a lil on let off. I was on the fence for intake. I think this might be the one.

@@TheCarCreativeSounds great! You usually don't notice the gains from intakes. But doing Stage 1 Unitronic tune will be a night & day difference. Be a whole new driving experience again! I had stage 2 on my 2007 GTi with 0 regrets and 0 issues.

What kind power can these cars make with upgraded turbo. Is the motor capable of making 500whp.

@@Mmb0927We're making 470HP safely at the crank with our Stage 3 PMAX calibrations on 93 octane fuel and there's even more to come with E85. The engines themselves are well proven by this point and there's quite a bit more fueling headroom with the 2.0TSI EVO4 platform versus previous generations.

The SAI filter is needed for the GTI. We've got a turbo inlet in the works too.

There’s a whole video on it 👊🏼 19” x 18.5 fifteen52 Podium wheels and CTS lowering springs (1 inch), keeps the DCC. Thanks for watching.

@@wnabgti track, but both sound similar is my understanding. Touring has 180 technology which will help with any droning when cruising. I’m enjoying it though. Love the tone. Both would be a win.

@@wnabgti I got the track edition, between 3-4k rpm it gets loud in the cabin. AWE has the touring edition to help with the drone. Check it out! The 180 technology is probably what you’re looking for. I wanted loud. 😅

Based on what I’ve seen is that intakes and exhausts don’t really void warranties. I have heard once you do things like down pipes, or closer to the engine it can potentially void warranty? Once you do any computer mods though the dealerships don’t like that. But also depends on if you have a cool tech working on your car or someone who goes by the rules hard, never know these days.
