The pressure in your head needs to be equalised. You do this by blocking your nose and blowing gently. Also, love your attitude mate keeps my depression at bay

Hey m8 great catch that trevally great fun, you are Learning the QLD way to chuck them back to live another day they are a much better fight than they are to eat lots better fish to eat where you are m8, was that a tusky or a steephead parrot fish be carefull parrot can give you ciguatera poisioning it was hard to tell from video,get a nice big light blue one most have black spot on them and when you fillet them they have a blue back bone hense why there are named blue bone aswell, im keen to find out what you think of them to eat,you have to equalize when diving hold nose, blow out its a must do m8,or you will blow your ear drum,tight lines champ and take care.

the pressure from going under the water makes your head fell weird so when you going under make sure u have ur finger on ur nose and blow air in ur nose when under water but dont let the water come out of ur ears put air and swim to the bottem while doing this hope this helps
What a cracking session Luke. I managed to get out on one of the local dams in central west NSW for a couple of days over the weekend. It was great to get back on the water and spend some time with my grandkids and nephews. Keep up the great content and stay well.
Hey hey just a heads up! The fish speared at 26:07 is a parrotfish not a tuskie. Also you’ll need to equalise as you go down. Simply pitch your nose and softy blow out, you’ll feel and hear your ear drums push out. The deeper you go you’ll need to release air out of your nose to stop the suction of your mask against your face. If you do start 10m dives and deeper go with a diving buddy, shallow water blackouts is more common then you think and sadly some divers don’t get found in time.

@@lukefalzon its when you hold your nose shut then blow and your ears should let out preasure because you are diving deeper. you should do this every 3 feet you dive
when you feel that pressure build up in your head, you need to equalize. Clip your nose and blow, then you ears will pop and relieve all that bad pressure. GIVE IT A TRY!!! IT WORKS!!
