Bro will give you a good advice. Start the outboard motor take the bung out and drive the boat and fast and gravity will empty it and then stop put it in neutral and then put the bung back on. Don’t panic when the water comes in and I have done this 9 times with a tiny and I have a 6.7 barcrusher. And another advice to people if you put your boat into the water and you forget to put the bung on all you have to do is pull your boat back on the beach or jetty so it doesn’t sink. When stuck in your life. Think and use your common sense. From a Aitutaki Cook Islander
Just letting ya know the rod holder on the bullbar is actually illegal in w.a aswell as the sabiki rig ya using to catch yakkas can only have 3 hooks max on any rig. 👍
You can catch dewies on little brim but with that rig ya got, and you wanna get yakkas burley up, cut up little pieces of piltrads, put tiny tiny peices on the hooks, but Burly up attract em, then drop ya rig, I catch em every trip, use em for kingys dollies and mulloway. Keep it up bra love ya videos
Luke, the problem you had with the boat spinning around was probably because of the tide, I suggest trying to fish while the tide is running in strong or out as long as there is current. Once you anchor the current will turn the boat in the direction it is moving then you can Chuck the baits out the back, I also recommend taking off the sinker for live bait and try butterflying the trumpeter or even filleting it and using the fillet. Another thing you could try is fishing from the Jew fish at night you will have way more chance getting a Jew fish at night because that is when they are most active just try using the sounder and find a deep hole and drop the baits best bet whould be around 6 to 10 meter deep but the Jew fish will feed shallower at night probably going in to around 3 or 4 deep meters
Just here to see if anyone has told you the rod holder in the car is illegal in WA and the sabiki has to he cut in half in WA to be legal. Love your vids.
For live bait I would recommend using a snell rig a hook in the front one the the back and sometimes instead of a sinker a float is a better option makes it look more natural .great video🔥🔥
I suggest asking stores for certain lures for certain fish you're trying to catch , like yes keep at it with live bait for your missions, but with lures you will definitely bring a fishy home for Aria! Just thought it makes sense to do as you're already out there with all the gear because if live bait fails then a lure might work ❤
Little advice for the live bait, i prefer live tailor for jewfish works so good and when your out on the boat use the sabiki in deep worker the will get plenty of yakkas Loving the attitude towards fishing too
Just wanna give you a tip on the mulloway I fish for them a fair bit the easiest way I’ve found is a running sinker with swivel then get 2 hooks 10 centimetres apart and put 1 hook behind the head 1 hook around the middle of the body.
luke to help u increase your mulloway catch rates try hooking your live bait through the bottom of the mouth and through the top lip because mulloway always hit from the front
Long time fan mate! Burley up always for yakkas, I use tuna mince catfood. Keep up the content can't wait to see you up around shark Bay catching 5kg tailor 😂
Hey Luke, with your live baits after using them once generally they will die not long after being put back in the live bait container because of the shock from the hooks
why not just put a bilge pump in ? You have a battery in the boat. You could just have it automatic or flick a switch. Then you wouldn't need to carry your drill with you on the boat😂
I suggest filleting the trumpeta and let the white flesh flicker in the water with that current mulloway normally love deep holes at slack tides hey mate from qld Gladstone
@@lukefalzon algood mate been watching ya for a while now when you get up to qld you should come for a fish with me I’ll get ya hooked onto whatever you like
Luke, buy some bells for the end of your rod. Perfect when it is dark. (And, this is my third time making this suggestion: You should be wearing a hat. It may not matter when you are young but, you will see the results when you get older.). 🙂 Ian
I’d use 2 hooks snelled with those livies. I’d also run about 60cm of fluorocarbon from a swivel to the hook. Have the sinker free running above the swivel.
Hey m8 id check if you can use bait jigs in W,A pretty sure you cant hate to see you get in trouble, and i got a warning about having a rod holder on my ball bar , and you have to eat some Western Australian Dhu fish best eating fish by a mile take care, tight lines.
Lukey you gotta cut those sabiki rigs in half, can only fish 3 hooks max in W.A // and 28cm fish is tarwine and/or silver bream lovely eating legal size is 25cm
You should be using a double hook snell rig reason being mulloway hold there bait in their mouth having a double hook snell increases your chances as they can spit out the bait quicker then you can strike. One if the best live baits in my opinion is mullet then yellow tail(yakkas) best dead bait is squid
Most fish that eat other fish swallow them head first so the fins fold down that's why it's best to hook the bait about half a inch from the back of the head
How we live bait fish for jew in Sydney is use a long running sinker rig with a circle hook snelled or on a loop knot and have like a meter or so trace from the swivel and have a light but firm drag to set the hook on the initial run
When live baiting. Through the lip if In current Behind the dorsal fin above the lateral line. Do not injure the back bone. Will go deep down for you. In front of the dorsal fin will stay on the surface. You can actually steer it to where you want it to go. Try ballooning in deep water as well. Just tie a balloon on to your swivel with cotton. Anglers fish for years before getting what you wanted on your 1st try. Be paitent When in current straighten your motor up... That's why you are turning. Jew fish mouth the bait. Don't strike till they run the 3rd time
You should hook the bait through the mouth or nose so they are facing into the current, hooked in the tail the bait is just going to twirl and not look natural
