There are 8 new weapons in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, and in this video I explain what is the meta and the best loadouts to use in solos, duos and competitive. Like & Subscribe! Reisshub
Sorry there's not many clips of specifically what I'm talking about, at this point in the season I'm more just theory crafting ideas and there's no real clips of them yet. The first tournament is on the 18th of December so after that I'll have much more specific VODs to work with! Edit: you can both rotate with the Hammer so no need for both players to carry it!
The augments are overall a great addition, they allow for so many different strategies to cater to minute differences between play styles, and I can’t wait to see some unique strats in comp
I mean The Boom Sniper shot Clingers that did the same damage as normal Clingers, I still think its good, three shots to someone, guaranteed death. Excaliber has three shots and does more damage on Impact and Explosion as it shoots literal swords, of course it would be better.
@@rickygamingproductions didnt the original clingers not do damage on impact but did 100 explosive? Where the boom sniper does 70 total if hit on impact.
@@stryderz4839 Ah thanks for bringing it to my attention. Completely forgot the normal throwable Clinger does more damage than Boom Sniper. It was probably done so the Boom Sniper wouldn't be OP. The Boom Sniper's DPS currently after the Buff in Paradise (C3S4) is 85, 10 from impact and 75 from explosion. While the Boom Sniper Clingers aren't as strong. They are still deadly.
I honestly feel like the tac pistol is better than the scar in every way. It’s a super underrated gun, and if you can control the recoil, it fries. Not only this, but it uses light ammo. Add onto this the two pistol perks, one that increases mag size and another that decreases reload time, and it’s probably the best all-in-one gun in the game.
I've always liked pistols in video games, and it may be BS, but I also feel like some people are less worried when they hear you shooting a pistol at them. So when I played this season for the first time and used the Tac Pistol, I was blown away. This thing fries. I thought the sidearm pistol was good. This thing puts it to shame.
@@MDRHokage I personally liked the sidearm pistol more because of its higher damage and I think it might have slightly better bloom but I’m not too sure. I would always take a gold sidearm over a gold hammer ar. The tac pistol is still really good in my opinion tho.
Its definitely the best close range gun. I’d always side it with a shotgun though as backup. The scar is trash. Red eye is so good that I regularly stick to a green red eye over even another epic AR / dmr
the thunder pump feels pretty consistent with its damage compared to maybe something like the striker shotgun, Im not sure if it is better than a prime shotgun though
You can get a launch pad as floor loot, as well as one spawning in already place from a specific reality rift that appears randomly on the map. Theres around 10-12 possible different rifts, so its EXTREMELY rare that you'll find one, but you can get one, technically, as floor loot.
the mythic excalibers damage is super similar to the pre nerf (c2s2) heavy sniper thanks to 150 damage guaranteed on bodyshot which is already crazy for such an easy to use gun i also noticed while playing that i can just spam it at moving vehicles and constantly chip damage the vehicle and the players inside it thanks to the exploding projectile so if this doesnt get nerfed/removed from comp loot pool team tournaments gonna be really rough
the best at is definitely the tac ar. not only does it have a new red dot sight but it also has 0 recoil and has 0 bloom in box. it also takes smg ammo
I saw it too during Epik’s recent stream with Snacky. They were in a box, Snacky was facing forward and up against the corner of where the 2 walls intersect. Epik then used the hammer right behind Snacky and they shockwaved out
Or you could just take a bunch of hammers and a chug cannon or chug splashes which is op for mobility and is pretty strong sometimes. Another combo is the party time augment with a sniper and something to destroy builds
I’ve noticed there’s times when I use the shockwave movement part of the hammer that like 95% of the time I launch myself and then there’s that 5% where it just randomly works on my teammate. But what I’ve been doing for that is I’ll tell my teammate to jump and then I’ll use the slam to launch them and then I’ll soon follow behind with the movement part of the hammer. It’s annoying and unfortunate but it works
i reckon duo tournaments will be chaos with the angler augment as one player can sit in zone for several minutes just surviving on jellyfish while the other player can easily get surge.
I personally play zero build semi aggressively and my load out is usually the redeye ar/ tactical ar if it’s available to me, the thunder shotgun, tactical pistol, chugs or minis doesn’t really matter to me, and until I get the shockwave bow I’ll use the hammer
I still believe that from what I played in Fortnite and what I’ve experienced the first version of the pumpkin launcher variant of the rpg was absolutely insane… damaging people inside their builds for 115+ damage
You can use the hammer to launch ur teammate so if they have glider redeploy it’s good also the hammer I used it to break through a build then to pump my opponents as he was exposed and I was above hin
I would say the best loadout would be: thunder shotgun, tac pistol (instead of a scar and/or smg), hammer or excaliber, and double heals as well, I think the pistol is one of the best weapons this season
i personally play with excalibur-thunder-shockhammer-duoble heal and as i rotation i do from the isle in the top snow and going to fish for flopper and there are some free chug
It’s crazy how you’re putting in 10x more work into these videos than any other fortnite creator but getting less views. Keep up the grind, it will eventually pay off
I find myself never picking up an AR. I’m use that ex cal as an ar basically. So I’ll run an ex cal, shotgun if I find a decent one, if I don’t find a decent one I’ll run a twin mag sub, hammer, then splashes or minis. Or take out splashes and then I’ll run an AR. That storm mark I believe it’s called? Where at the start of every zone move and zone close it marks nearby enemies. Love that perk. I’ll run that with forecast, bush warrior, and Arielist. Pretty decent set up
You can actually boost your teamate by hitting them with the hammer. And if they have the glider redeploy perk they can stop themselves from getting launched into zone
What about bows? I've been trying them out and the stink bow and flame bow are pretty goated to use instead of an AR. Helps with any rats that keep pushing for the bush positions
My preferred load out is. Tactical ar/ red eye Combat shotgun/thunder shotgun Hammer/stink bow Minis Chug splashes I also like having the party time augments.
Im not a comp player so this is all theory. Would it make sense to run a red eye rifle early and mid game for surge then when you get a refresh switch to a scar?
Ok so best load out is 3 hammers one shotgun. I would say either thunder or combat, depending on how well you can land headshots and dodge. The 4 hammers seem like a meme, and they are, but having 12 bounces and the ability to negate fall damage and have massive knock back is huge. You can choose your perks, but one you NEED is bush warrior, as you can’t carry heals so you need ways to quickly and consistently heal
For people who play zero build like me the uzi is probably a better smg as the twins smaller mag size can result in you dying from the stop in dps, the Excaliburs box breaching abilities are repurposed for killing people in cars and the maven is still kinda bad.
Probably did that to try and slow the Sweatiness and make them less likely to just hold the build button. It makes it more strategic and not an endless who can build higher battle
@@TheNomios Yeah Sweats are very good at killing, Their Beasts of Destruction, this farming nerf won't stop them if Llamas still exist and they can simply prowl the lands for their prey for mats.
@@rickygamingproductions its a fucking competitive gamemode stop complaining about "sweats" where the fuck do you expect them to be except in arena and tournaments?
As a Fortnite enjoyer myself, I want to say 2 things. 1. Great video keep it up. 2. Fortnite is one of the few Bastions of Video game fun we have left. I hope we are careful to not META the fun out of it🤔🤘
Red eye is best in all scenarios. The other ARs are never worth using imo if u need something for close range you shouldn’t use an AR. Red eye is perfect for medium to extremely long range and is even better than the DMR. The gun is way overtuned and a must have. I only play zero build tho so the strategy is simpler
THIS is The Chapter 4 Meta (Fully Explained) ==> Skybase above renderdistance: Go to some always uncontested shit spot, camp there till storm is there, farm heals and mats (surely there is some metal here and there), build skybase, once on max height dip into zone, win or get top 2. ==> 7x top 2 every tournament
