This Is The End. My final Battlbox Mission - Mission 87 BattlBox: battlbox.com Support This Channel: / kbsurvival Kitbashed Survival T-Shirts: store.ericstra...
I'm happy that your channel is so successful that you can drop Battlebox and do the stuff you like best. I quite liked the Battlebox reviews, but I can do without them for a bit! I'm looking forward to the next in the Build-Your-Own survival kit series 😀👍
I agree. When you've already collected three folding shovels, two axes, five water bottles, ect,,, kits like this not only become redundant. They become expensive.. Even if you're trying to equip an entire platoon,it just reaches a point...
I REALLY enjoyed the Video, as I ALWAYS do. You’re making good, and entertaining Videos. Thanks to You, Sir, and all My best Wishes, from Norway. Keep up Your’s good Work! Thumbs Up!😀👍 (Please excuse My bad English, wrong Spelling, and the Lacks of My Grammatics, and Vocabular. English, is My Second Language.😉)
Battlbox does it's own youtube review. The channel is hosted by Currin1775 who is a funny guy who does a darn good review. I think he was a HVAC Service Tech when he started and became very popular. Battlbox started providing him a few kit each month and eventually hired him full time. I still watch the channel to just laugh at Currin1775's antics and I think he does a good job reviewing the gear. All that said, I was a subscriber for six months and cancelled. The Pro box is expensive and the kits are really hit or miss. Some months they were darn good and others you think the stuff came from a Dollar Store (nothing against Dollar Stores). I think they had a show for one season on Netflix where they actually used some of their gear.
Not sure if this has been commented on before, but the saw "Arrow head" is used to cut the slot in the wood shaft to seat the other two real arrow heads.
If I could be so blunt, I believe battle box has strayed away from what they were. That being said they do give an awesome "sense" of what's out there. I just wished they'd stayed closer to "E&E," bug out or survivalist biased gears. Less of the gimmicky goods.
I have to say that this battle box is a little lackluster compared to some of the other boxes. Like you said, if you're getting duplicate pieces of kit, some of which might not be all that useful, then I don't blame you for canceling. Thanks for sharing the content, brother. I hope you and everybody that watches this channel are having a good one. And I look forward to the next series of boxes you end up getting. 🤙🏾
Yup, generally that's why I don't do mystery boxs like that. I've tried them. I found getting about 15 of them is about all you need. Then they get repeated. The most you can do is throw the stuff in a box and regift them. By the way, that's a good tarp I got one, or least it works for me.
I've watched half of your BB Videos and one things for sure. You have a lot of stuff in your garage/utility room when you have the Box for a year. What I learned is that normally I like the small Gadgets more like the big expensive things. That's because I have the cornerstones of my Equipment, I'm searching only for a Gerber folding saw and a solar/crank loading system. This knife Set is for butchering big game. I don't like it. 1. You need it more at home and then you need all Tools with handles not these thing you have to change when it's bloody. 2. On the hunt you need only a knife for bleeding out and/or removing the innards. 3. I miss a small Blade and oil.
Everything is useful, but who can haul that much useless stuff? Then add altitude. What are you going to do with two arrows? Eat crows and squirrels? Useless junk. The tarp actually is useful. How much for the handful of crappy paracord?
I mean these boxes are for those of us who like random stuff of decent quality and for the basic box I use or gift what I get and it’s of good enough quality to know I’m not handing over something that will fail. I didn’t have to go to any store or even scroll online it just comes to me.
Those subscription packs are always hit and miss you pay a company a monthly subscription fee and they send out whatever they have from companies looking to buy their modular gear you know like a modular survival knife that comes with 5 blades that cost 100 dollars but in order to get the other 200 blades to complete it would probably cost 8000 dollars so subscription services or packs at best are hit and miss because they contain stuff you may or may not use or even buy in the first place or at worse a deep dark hole that the rabbit lead you to
what a bunch of crap.i got the gear box the canadian version of battle box and there was a book about nuclear war and said it was worth 30 bucks.cancelled right away and was asked why.i said if i wanted books id join a book club.
Great video. Love your videos. I only wish that there was actual thought put into missions and make them scenarios to act out and test the specific gear included in each box.
Not a fan of that saw kit. The hard case takes up too mich space, and I would never take a piece of equipment that needed to be assembled and disassembled with small screws and a screwdriver.
I don’t recommend they don’t even send me the items I asked for I really don’t recommend this I ordered them pro boxing got the events box instead they send me money for the pro box back but I still have to pay for the event box I waited over a month in Canada to get this it’s really not worth it
Whilst I like the compact modular nature of the Raptorazor, I'd have spent a bit more on 1 or 2 additional handles. Having to switch them out, so often, is a pain.
It'd be really cool if you ever wanted to take some of these things out and show us how they're used and do a review style of things in the boxes ( arrow kit for example be awesome ). Thanks again for the great video
Thank you for taking the time to do these reviews.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I had thought of subscribing, but after watching your reviews, these became a no-go for me. Although, some items look interesting and would be useful.
I subscribe to mystery tackle box saltwater boxes. Yes, some things get repetitive however it is a cool way to discover companies that I’ve never heard of. Most of them made in the USA. Tackle and lures I’m not aware of because they aren’t available at my local tackle shop.
youve gotten a raptorazer before, orange handles.... skinning kit like this one, though this looks to be an upgraded version... orange one had more of a punch dagger type handle
Curren1776 hinted there may be more mods for the MODL bottle in next month’s box. I also swapped the MODL straps for the carabiner straps, so I have both tools at the same time. I was gonna stop the subscription but I’ll hang on one more month to see if there’s a water filter in next month’s box.
It was a raptor product it had interchangeable blades it had two plates that you screw together to make the whole handle and everything which basically wrapped around the handle of the blade cuz they were more or less full tank blades same company that you got there made by raptor
They did send the raptorazr interchanglable skinning blade thing before. Had a few blades and a big saw with it. I gave it to my neighbor to use on his hunting trips, since I knew he'd get more use out of it than I would.
you know what... I like this battlbox contents so much. I will miss this.... it has so much random things that I will not buying but so much curious about, and you has shown it for us. Thanks.
The tarp is excellent, has plenty of tie out points and is an ideal size for one plus gear. Love mine. So does my daughter when I make a tarp tent with it.
I got the first 3 Months of Battlbox & cancelled before the 4th Month was Shipped. I could tell by the items in the box that it was going to get really repetitive. Some "Useful" items, sure, but I already have multitudes of useful items in my repertoire of outdoor products. Quality "Hand Picked" items that I will actually use. That being said, I really enjoy your Videos!! Thanks for taking the time to produce them. I have also been searching far & wide for survival kits (As I'm sure you have to) to recommend to you but I think you've already done them all 😂 Cheers 🍻
I think Battlbox is a great idea as a gift or for someone who is just getting into survival/outdoor gear. But for the established enthusiast it's probably not going to give you anything you don't have already in some form. Still, it's fun.
