Being disabled. Your channel really helps me stay in the outdoors whenever I can't! Steven you are doing more than creating content 😎 you are doing so much more. Thank you. BamaSaltwater#1
I 100% agree..I am disabled as well & Have been in constant severe pain for 14+ years now..I am a native Floridian that fished most of my life,, So watching your videos makes me feel like I'm out there with you & Even if only for a little while,, Helps me to forget just how much pain I'm in..Thank you so very much my fish lovin' brother..May life always find you well & smiling. 🙏❤️
THANK GOD for something finally good on RU-vid. In my way home from delivering a 41' sailboat to lake Champlain that I loaded in Miami, so once again I'm fishing vicariously through Capt Stephen lol.
Hey Stephen just a quick tip when you’re going try to cook try to use a cooking oil (like olive oil, peanut oil, vegetable etc…). The butter burns really fast and can make the meat taste unpleasant.
My Goodness What An Incredible Fishing Trip💯 Just Doesn’t Get Much Better… That Plate Looked Phenomenal 👊🏻💥💥❤️❤️ I See Your A Huge Cheese Fan Like Myself 😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I Loved It Steven!! Great Video As Always.. GOD BLESS YOU🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
Awesome catch and cook! Love the amberjack on the troll, don’t see that too often. You always have the nice and easy, yet delicious recipes. Thanks for the content man!
Cap'n Stephen, I love these videos. The Gulf Coast from the Florida Panhandle over to Louisianna (including Bama and Mississippi) has a beauty all its own.
Thank you for this video Stephen! I’ve been waiting for you to catch, clean and cook Amberjack👍 try grilling it sometime with olive oil and Everglades Seasoning. Absolutely delicious! Thank you for all the behind the scenes work that goes into making these videos. May God bless you brother.
I want to say thanks to Bama Salt Water. I bought a double loop drop rig from his website and yesterday it caught me a 2 20lb White Sea bass on a sardine. Most fun I’ve ever had fishing🎉
AJ's are my favorite... I even prefer them over the almighty grouper and snapper when it comes to Blackened or Chargrilled.. Great vid as always! God Bless you man!
Another beautiful dish!! Simple, elegant and looks absolutely delicious!! I’d like to send you some seasoning we use in SE LA a LOT. Is there a PO Box I can send it to? I started watching your channel for the fishing (ok, I still have to see the fishing) but now I’m hooked on how you prepare the fish almost as much! Lol. Great job Steven and in case I haven’t said this yet, thank you for your service!!
First thing when hubs gets in.."hey lets watch Stephen catch a fish" You never fail to entertain!! Keep up the content..love your channel because you love what you do and it shows. Be safe out there.
Great video I was at lost bay tackle other day and picked up some bait and saw ur rigs there lady she said u come in sometimes and said to ur kind and she said ur mama was so sweet and nice. Them people that own that bait shop are so nice and helpful.
Almost every trout I catch in texas has at least one worm in it, just learned to get rid of them when filleting or worst case cut off a small chunk of meat.
I am sure you have been asked this before but why do those rigs emit the horn sound? One of the first grilled fish I ever ate was an Amberjack. Keep um coming!
Gotta let ya know, Stephen. I have been hugely into your @BamaSaltwater videos for the last 9 months and thus have absorbed all of your knowledge and tips that I can( it’s pretty funny I have all of Alabama fishing regulations memorized.. but I have to google floridas😂. My fishing has picked up in the past year(as much as it can with a now pregnant wife😅) We set out and ended up with 3 12” mangroves @FortPickens Fishing Pier and cooked them whole, over charcoal , with blackened seasoning & butter garlic sauce!!! As I was seasoning and gettin with it in the kitchen I over heard my wife say to my mother in law “This is the happiest I think I see him”😮😅 no lie. All this to say I’ve been watching for a while and it has brought me much joy and also YOUR REMINDER THAT GOD IS ABOVE ALL is somthing that I’ll always be here for. Much ❤️ and thanks 🙏 Kyle robards. Pensacola fl. P.s. My wife caught the biggest one. and I also did my Spanish fried for the first time because you showed me how. Delicious content my friend.
When I see you wearing your Army Insignia cover I think of my last day in Vietnam, hopped a Huey gunship out of Navy Bin Thuy and was on my way home Thanks Army.🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸 Always look forward to your videos.
As usual Steve you don’t disappoint , you’ve convinced me Alabama is the place to go for some awesome fishing . Fishing around Irelands coasts USED to be like that but not anymore due to over fishing by commercial boats from Europe
Hello Bama:I am a Chinese and my English is not well. Watch your channel is hardly for my English level. I hope that you can write subtitles in the video for me.😅😅😅
Hey brother it's Shawn in Morgan county..I wanted to start doing some fishing up here I can make it to the coast yet but what would be a recommend rod and reel combination for inland lakes or rivers here in Alabama I would really appreciate your thoughts on this I haven't fished in 30 years but if I trust anyone it's you Steven ty kindly you are my favorite angler of all RU-vid there's a lot but we are Alabama natives makes it even better ty sir..Roll tide from Morgan county
the worse thing I ever did was sell my little 21 ft Mako skiff. We was spinning wheels trying to find a spot, while over spending, and riding not catching anything, and when my Mother came down with cancer then I decided to sell it and keep mom to all her chemo appt. But now I am almost ready to pull the trigger on another boat she is in full remission with a new lease on life and she is ready to be back out on the water!!. I believe it is the most stress free thing we have ever done getting up at 4am and heading out to the riggs O, so much fun. I absolutely can't wait to drag my sorry but up at the crack of dawn and do it all over again!!!!
Exactly, safety reasons. Making sure it stays on and no issues with the starters and also mainly in case the current carries the boat towards the structure when the trolling motor dies or fails.
It is such a shame that AJ's are so heavily regulated. They are a fabulous fish to eat the way you cooked them. I do them a little different. I would have taken those chunks and cut them in half and put them flat on the cast iron. That way you don't have thin going to thick. It looks like a small filet mignon. Cooks really fast maybe one or two minutes a side. It is easy to see the fillet cooking from the side like that.
Hey man not sure how close you are, but there’s flounder stacked up in the delta around grand bay in the grass flats by the causeway, caught a bunch there last weekend on white curlytails
Got time to answer a question for me? I've only read about catching AJ's and I've only read that they have a tendency to have parasites or something like that that different magazines warn against eating. Is that something you don't worry about? I just don't want to risk getting my family sick.
Great video! That amber Jack put up quite the fight. Have you ever been out to chandeleur islands? Every year my dad uncles and cousins go out to chandeleur islands out of Biloxi. Catch a lot of speckled trout and red drum. Love the content man!
Far out fishing paid off big time very nice Amber Jack🤩I live in Canada no where near the ocean but I love your videos god bless and thanks for sharing❤️
I like to take those big AJ hogs and cut bone in stakes to make AJ pork chops with ribs and back bones use shake and bake for pork . The fillet is just like pork loin rap in bacon and grill
19:25 😂 that's your opinion lol jk but I gotta double check if I like the motz cheese I'm not sure because I know some have like a rotten weird taste to me with some cheese 👍
