Nice video but if I can interject one little bit of criticism.........with so many You Tube reviewers out there, I think if a person is gonna put together an unboxing and first look, it would be to his/her advantage to be as knowledgeable as possible on the product. Right off the bat you didn't even know whether the Pixel 8 was glass or plastic (it is glass, Gorilla Victus Glass 2 to be precise). It would also be to your advantage to know what type of chip processes the device! Just FYI!

The Pixel 8 looks like an awesome phone. How is the phone doing on performance? I keep seeing mixed reviews on it. It looks like it would be better than the 6 and 7 series.

Hello, I think the Pixel 8 is a great phone and is becoming a favorite of mine. Raw performance its not the greatest but gets around a million score on the Antutu Benchmark. It easily plays the latest games at high graphics no problem. The camera and its AI features are awesome and software support I feel is second to none. Appreciate you stopping by!

@@Tekmogo to me raw power doesn't matter as much as real world performance. I was mainly curious because with the g3 having a single core score of over 1700 and a multi core score of over 4400, it's hard for me to believe some saying it is laggy. Because I'm a heavy user and the 6, 6a and 7 all worked pretty well. Currently I'm using a 5a and it handles anything I can do so I couldn't believe the 8 was that bad. We all know it isn't as powerful as snapdragon or the Apple A bionic chips. I was considering trading in my 5a for the 8 later and was curious how the performance is(of course when not comparing it to more powerful chips). Thanks for the response as there are so many mixed reviews it's difficult to sort out if it's a good performing phone or bad one.
