I personally managed to get a Mushroom pylon to work on the surface, built a pool of water too for sky crate fishing. In some other seeds I tried Forest and Hallow but neither of them worked, maybe it's only Mushroom that works or maybe I got lucky somehow.
WOW. I just finished the video and it was amazing!! I honestly wasn't expecting this to be actual legendary mode hardcore at first, but it was. this video's super underrated, I'm definitely subscribing
Yeah cool, now do this on masochist death 1hp hardcore with no armour, accessories, building/breaking blocks, and using a dance pad as control, and of course without installing terraria and while being underwater all the time (But actually congrats a lot on this achievement, I barely can win on expert)
well done, now do it with no life crystals and only use the flare gun and also without mining any blocks :D Jokes aside that's really impressive, your dedication is astonishing

I'm pretty sure you can have pylons in the sky. Just make a mushroom biome or jungle biome up there. Unless there is an update or multiplayer or hardcore blocks that from working somehow.
@@HardcoreElimination Yeah I played solo getfixedboi, softcore because I am not superman. But yeah I made a mushroom biome high in the sky and that worked for me.

Hmmm that's a tough question. I think we have a lot of very good players that each have their own skills. Gnome and zirhop for example, are both really good, but for completely opposite reasons. Gnome is good at pvp and exploration and just not dying. But when it comes to grinding and preparing, he just can't do it. Whereas zirhop lives for grinding, min maxing, building, doing anything to increase his survival.

Hey, we just used the same arena that we used for queen bee and plantera. You can spawn golem, then use the rod of discord to teleport right below the temple where the arena was built, and he'll follow you out.
@@Kutsu10 yeah definitely makes it a lot easier! You can tell how much planning went into the run seeing as we built that arena for plantera and golem in pre hardmode hahaha. Golem is often considered an easy boss / pushover but in legendary mode in the dark and confined space, it's definitely a threat.
@@Kutsu10 yeah he obliterates all light. If you noticed in the video we filled the bottom of the arena with walls and painted them with luminous coating just to be able to see
Calling it hardcore seems kinda disingenuous since it’s a server and after you die all you have to do is make a new character and join back. Sure there’s the added penalty of having to re gear after death but even then your items drop and you just have to farm new heart crystals. This is closer to a medium core run than hardcore. One of the main challenges of hardcore is losing all progression when you die including world progression.
