Don't look at this as a brand new colorway. If we accept it as another restock (with an updated look), it's less confusing. Nike does it all the time

I never liked this iteration when it first came out but honestly, when I got the chance to hold a pair in one of our local Adidas store, I really loved it. There something about the design and colorway in particular that got me hooked. I agree that Adidas can play around with the colorway and maybe release something new to this iteration of the 700s.

I'm so over the glowing shoes. I always thought it was a neat idea, but after having a few pairs, it's basically useless. You have to walk from a sustained bright environment directly to a dark room, which essentially never happens.

Man I just love 700 v3’s, this might be one of my favorite colorways in this silhouette. Love the content you’re pushing out, keep up the great work homie 🔥🔥🔥

Great breakdown and comparison. Mono safflower is my first v3 and have a slightly wider foot and am so glad I opted for a full size up. I really like the choices for the cage and midsole colors I just like the colors better than the OG especially the toned down cage of the mono saff- glad this was an easy cop.

Great vid as usual Elliot. I did not own the original Safflowers so this was a nice addition and with various teams having yellow in their team colors I support, nice option to rock with them. Still a comfortable model to me and underrated when put up against the more loved V1 or V2 that features boost.

They do in fact have a different color! It’s not just the cage. The upper has a different tone! But yes, pretty similar overall!

Not gonna complain about this release. I owned the Safflowers before and I far prefer the Mono version. But I would definitely like to see more variety from the 700 v3s, lot of untapped potential still.

Keep in mind. They could of had a stock of many sizes from the Safflower initial drop that were not finish completely. They could of just thought of a slightly new thing to add (orange glow ribcage) so they didn't have material stock sitting or trashed in the bin. This is a fun shoe either way because the ppl who wanted the OG & couldn't get it, had a chance this go around. I don't work for Adidas or their suppliers or companies that are housing their overflow stock. So I'm just guessing in a different way then lazy or boring colorways. They sell out no matter the color so you know, chill & wear the shoe.

I’ve been waiting for a restock of safflower, luckily they decided to make it even better! Now I have a new beater one cus my MNVN blue tint kinda dirty cus of the rainy days of last few months. But imagine if they released these mono safflower with boost on it? I wouldnt mind even if they increase it to £190. Oh well im just happy I have it now plus I hit on the restock of waverunners like 3hrs ago from end clothing!

Honestly think the new Mono Safflower looks 10x better than the original. The white midsole looks & gum outsole is a much cleaner vibe.

Agree with you 100%, they definitely need to play with different colors with this silhouette. As always another banger bro, keep up the grind. Just one thing, when you walk through water or shoot b-roll on water it always makes me cringe. Because here in America we definitely wouldn’t wear our heat in bad weather or after a rain storm. That glow is tempting ….even though i have the OG …..the glow is tempting me

They definitely feel better on feet than the previous ones, the material isn't as stiff surprisingly!! Super soft on feet no pain at all.

copper fades were a decent change. i love the feel and use of materials in hand. It feels like quality in a completely different direction than let's say the 500. There are enough models to not need each model to sub-differentiate... except the qntms. Those are as boring as they are comfortable.

Whats up E!?Seeing that cage makes me wonder about the friends and family quantum and if its cage glows orange similar to how the frozen blue quantums cage glows....

I have the other ones I like this one slightly better but completely unnecessary, I wish we could get something different in terms of color on the other models. They only slightly change the color pallets.

I feel like the biggest difference which wasn’t mentioned is that the mono pair has a transparent cage where the original safflower was solid which I think looked pretty bad

One and only pair of V3s I own are the Copper Fades and gotta say not a fan of the silhouette. Too tight for me even tho I full sized up. And look weird on me personally haha but 450s are my favorite silhouette so I’m weird.

I grabbed it on Yeezy day. I had no intention on liking them. When I just got them on hand and checked the glow in the dark with a UV light, it kind of grew on me. Maybe with some baggy jeans

I’m not big on 700v3. Got mine in hand the other day and just feels like cheap plastic compared to the predecessors. If you hit statics on the restock congrats because that’s as good as the 700 gets!

UPS delivered mine to another address and of course the honest person delivered them to my address…..not😒🙄 Hate UPS!!!

You should see what the prices of the 700 v3s are going for on Ebay I am seeing ones constantly pop up for under retail, same thing will probably be true for this pair. The smooth side walls on the 700 v3 models looks like they can easily get beat up compared to other yeezy models, especially on this pair with those white sidewalls and soles. That is why I have swayed away from and liked other yeezy models.

But jordan brand has been doing the same across all silhouettes? 🤷🏽
