i main maeve on controller, and i can also admit how balanced she is, yeah shes somewhat hard to learn but she's actually balanced and manageable to play as.

2:30 I really like this idea and have a few suggestions on what you could do a "mini guide" on: 1. Rei: Explain why her supposedely "heal Talent" Extension is not used and even decreases her overall healing output and why Focus is so much better. You could also talk about why Focus is her damage and her heal Talent, both at once. (I know since you usually play extension this can be hard for you LOL but I'm sure you're able to explain why it's bad) 2. In general dmg supports: Cover why dmg supports are good, which role they should replace when looking at the standard 1dps, 1flank, 2tanks (main/off), 1support setup and maybe which supports work better as damage and which better stay at a healing playstyle. 3. Lian: Just a general Mini Guide like you did with maeve this video, like why she is generally not very good atm, situations where she is good, why you don't like her and stuff.

It would be cool to see a healer guide, I used to play paladins a while back and I don’t remember what all my builds do, so seeing a healer guide would be dope!

I like this kind of video because it helps me to improve on the game e learn more about it. I hope you do more about more champions. They don't even need to go so in depth of the champion but learning it as much as I can in different levels. Starting more superficial going to more detailed content also helps not to get too boring.

I onetricked Maeve about a year ago or more, i really gave hours on her to be good. Than i decided to quit Paladins because of the bugs she had, like double jumping and hitting an invisible roof or hitbox. Now where the bugs are gone and where the game is somehow a bit playable, i decided to play again and to use her a lot. She is very balanced for sure. She is definitely one of the hardest champs to play if you dont use that one talent in the middle.

Maeve has been my main since I started playing way back in 2017 up until I left the game in 2021-2022. Now I'm back at the game, I've loved exploring the new champions but there's nothing like the pink cat. Quite a fun video, Maeve is such an awesome, fun character to play and learn with an interesting skill ceiling

This is a long time after this video, but if you see this, I'd love to see some Koga guides and gameplay. I know he's very good but in games I always play a more upfront damage/tank role and trying to play flank where I'm more focused on just killing enemies is odd for me and I don't see many flank guides. Sometimes I worry I do things inefficiently and I would love to see some more guides like this were I can easily improve with more upfront tips compared to watching pro and master gameplay. For me to give an example I don't understand why instead of dive-bombing into the payload to get the overtime and hopefully extend it long enough to maybe make it able to retake the payload, you back off and let it go. I'm not trying to be critical or rude I'm just genuinely curious. Sorry for the long paragraph.

Love the fact that she's this balanced on pc, but there's no way it's the same on roller lmfao. Not like you can play claw efficiently while using every bumper and trigger as well. The fact they've worked so hard to balance her has just turned her into a pincushion with 4 health

if i have to change maeve i would buff her rogue gambit talent so the dash does 500 dmg instead of the 460 she does now wich is a super small buff but seeing the 500 makes it seems is a huge buff when is only a 40 dmg increase to the talent

That's my main lol. People solo ult me all the time when they are tired of running after me. Or chasing me all match and let my team win.

If we are gonna talk about maeve buffs i would like for them to make her ultimate longer and not let players your close to see you. Becuase if your using street justice or at rogue’s gambit the enemies see you. Also if she could get a base movement buff in her base kit that would be nice because im buying max nimble and max lethality and i still move not fast enough to catch up to certain enemies. And maybe a talent rework for street justice and rogue’s gambit.

Street justice is a massive blemish on an otherwise awesome champ. It needs to be reworked imo, its job is to use her dash as a damage tool for anti-tanking, so I guess if I were to spitball a rework idea: Maybe it could give Maeve an extra pounce, with a longer cooldown and slightly less distance traveled, effectively giving her three pounces instead of two with nine lives. When you attack somebody with the pounce, for 5 seconds it makes them take say... 15% max hp dmg from all sources, and it would stack so Maeve can hit them with the pounce again to trade mobility for dmg pretty much. Reveals the target too for everyone to see, the dmg boost applies to everyone on the team, so it kind of brings the whole, "Justice on the street," idea.

i think you aim too low when throwing the daggers. try aiming slightly higher. her daggers have a curve to them to this should help you to hit more shots. hope this helps.

I main Maeve and the only build I always use is the most meme build for her but still work dor me, super speed build with max nimble and lethality, lol Also I think that you show are build that more into RG rather than CB since Six Sense always be used if you always using pounce for offensive or engage, but still can work tho

Maeve is in my opinion the most mobile character in the game. Fast as hell, jumps like crazy and has no cooldowns for double jump. I've been neglecting playing her for a long time now, maybe I'll try her out again this week

My only real issue with the character comes down to how much harder she is to play effectively while on controller and street justice being the most unhealthy, unfun garbage to ever grace gaming. No ability should be doing 1,710 to a tank OR MORE and that what mave dash into a yag does. Its just not fun to be on the receiving end and has basically 0 counterplay as mave is both infinitely faster then any tank in the game, the execute itself comes from a decent long ranged dash, is instant and goes through shields. All of this being tied to a regular ability which can instantly be reset with nine lives is just fundamentally broken.

As a Maeve 1-trick, this is easily debatable... No hate to him but! I hate Adanas's take regarding flanks, if you don't know, due to him we have a large number of flank that have invulnerability phases, 8 out of 14 flanks have a "no more damage please" ability and just know I'm counting lex too. The problem is isn't hundred percent the invulnerability but the, in my opinion, also flanks learning curve; While every class has resources to manage, yes support mains your job is hard boohoo, flanks lived by their resources, that includes ammo, cooldowns, and hp if you're willing to roll some dice, so as flank you want to be as near perfect as possible right? You'd build to, most likely, abuse some crazy part of your kit and use it to win, sounds good? Right? Wrong! Alot of the old flanks nerfs where to make resource management harder, anyone remember how bad Zhin was after his first major nerfs, if a flank has easy to practically no resource management they become a unbalanced mess, cough... Androxus cough... VII, but that's where EM went with flanks, with a pink haired exception, low management + faster up time = more fun, that's fine... if every flank is like that... so then Maeve... Maeve is one of few flanks that got shafted with the new "flank goals", her is unique though, Maeve start into Paladins as a overtuned burst flank, then morphed into a boxer, afterwards she was bursting again... and then degraded into a jack-of-all!? What the!? The biggest problem with Maeve to me is the clear power lost in transitioning into a "all-rounder" her resources are pitiful, hell EM was totally late on Predation, and I know but... but... Reset... right it's a duo use ability, a commitment ability I say, but even Reset is screwed here because every other flank has access to strong cooldown reduction that's not on a 20 second cooldown; in short Maeve wasn't designed to be a "all-rounder", not like Vora anyway, now she has "burst" the other burst flanks laugh at and bo... right... she can't box her only true sustainability is speed now, something most flanks fix mid match or just out chase you via lower cooldowns/built in Cc, also newsflash Maeve ain't the fastest kid on the block anymore and if you fight back 8 characters have a high chance to absorb your damage while smiling, great! As much as love this champion/character I won't bullshit it; she one of the most team reliant flanks in the game, most affected flank when a new flank drops, has no way to fight back/nor trade when being focused, and most notably gets "beerus flicked" by Haven... BAD! Wanna know why Maeve mains don't normally touch Rogue's Gambit even though it's incredible fun?... Haven... (Let's be real high RoF champions can pound through Haven, good thing Evie got that Fire-rate buff 👍). Big love to Andrew for bring some attention to Maeve but I personally think flanks are in a bad spot, not all, Talus/Lex/Skye

My favorite maeve talent is street justice becuase u can one shot tanks.

800 damage burst, projectile, a talent that boosts that damage, a talent that one shots 35 percnt health characters and her last one increases damage again, she's small she's fast and without mouse or aim assist she's damn near impossible to kill especially with a top 100 player around, my only anr smallest nerf? Give her 1700 health that's it.
