Today we check out Apprentice and what starts out as a random - but reasonable - idea turns into a completely broken run. To understand, I have a self imposed challenge on my channel to reach wave 40 with every character, because at this point you face 4 bosses that easily deal 150-200 damage per hit on you. And yea, we end up reaching that milestone without any of the most wanted items, which are the Giant's Belt (crits deal 10%/1% dmg of the enemies current HP), Retromation Hoodie (each Dodge % gives 2% Attack Speed) and Lucky Coin (each Crit % gives 2% Luck).

What was happening is that regularly when you level up, you get 1 more hp, so if the aprendice lowers 2 hp, that means you get 1 per lvl up but -2 per lvl up for being the aprendice, so that means you lowers 1 hp per lvl up

The reason you didn’t get the option to choose between endless or end at wave 20 is because you only get that option if endless is turned off

Both. Definitely for both combined. The gameplay and the impulsive commentary supplement each other so well, i cant imagine it in any other way. Entertainment for grown ups at it's best. At least in my book, i hope it's the same for everyone else here too. Edit: Pretty childish grown ups... But it's not worth to hide the inner child, life is short enough anyway.

Scepters are kinda single target whereas melee weapons hit all enemies in their area so the actual dps of a melee weapon vs a group has to be multiplied by the number of enemies in their area, so in the end against tightly packed enemies melee will have a bigger effective DPS.

this is what happens when you neglect speed so much. I personally recommend trying to get to at least 60speed helps you run out of those circles and away from dasher very easily.

if only he invested just a teeny tiny bit over movement speed on this run instead of that massive dodge upgrades. This had a potential to infinity. I literally fall into pieces when I saw him buying items like shackles and other stat cappers in exchange to something almost worthless like +10hp regen. Also he could've pumped the life steel up steadily. He had so much armor accumulating with all the other stats and XP boost. His content feels like ruined orgasms most of time, he sure does you get there though..

I noticed that the healing turret projectile bounces too after you get ricochet. Maybe thats a secret hint for an coop mode. What do you think 🤔 The stick you got for completing the char scaled the damage with youre current level so its a good weapon for mutant i think.

Thing is the weapon itself is a lot better, but without the other weapons you stop/have no scaling anymore, so it's a bit of a complicated case. But it was also getting to a point where it was harder to kill enemies, so I had to buy at least the Gun to keep going
