just built it it's freaking awesome. so much speed but also so much control. your principles and will do go trial and error over and over makes you a good engineer. you keep things simple and test single variables at a time so see what's really going on
Gonna have to try this... as soon as I finish building my sky house. Those things are difficult to launch correctly if you don't want extra parts visible on top. Once it's done though, it's time to construct a sky racer.
I liked your plane so much that I recreated it! I insisted on doing the canyon circuit with 4 rails glued to the front instead of 3 like you did and I constantly found problems because it was difficult to lower altitude, I fixed it by putting the steering stick in the highest part front of the plane, after the 4 rails. Now I can gain and lose altitude without a problem and I can finish the circuit! The railjet you have created is the best version I have seen so far
I have also noticed in versions with more rails that they reach a speed from which Link automatically dismounts from the railjet, I don't know if it will be around 35/40 m/s (sry for my bad english)
Okay after spending an hour making tiny tiny adjustments making this plane perfect I'm finally done this is going to be my last zonai build for a long time
I'm having trouble building this in 1.2.1. It's like every time I detach the loose fan off the rail, all the items have their height position locked or something. Eventually I got something that couldn't fly up but was otherwise awesome. It's a cool build though!
I kinda thought there'd be little intricacies to building in this game and i feared it because learning all this from the beginning is kinda overwhelming
17:13 - Chesepuf is not just an expert plane engineer and pilot, he's also apparently quite skilled in the art of dropping stealthily placed truth bombs!
It's crazy to think that the majority of people viewing these videos will have no idea what he was even referencing and that they have practically zero emotional ties to the event, what it meant to the world, why or how it happened, etc. They got the system spinning the world so fast that we cannot comprehend the truth from under the sea of lies. The movie "The Truman Show" was way more of a documentary than we realize. Smaller scale sure... but the truths are hidden in plane sight all over that movie.
I've tried to replicate your railjet, by following your instructions as close as possible, but I've encountered a problem when trying to add 2 extra fans in order to lightly weaponise it. After about 1-3 minutes of flying/circling a target, the loose fan will start to make a thunk noise, show the visual wind effect of fan and then flip orientation while ripping the rail and star fragment apart. Do you know if there is an alternative to the star fragment that has a stronger glue bond and the correct shape, to prevent the loose fan from moving and ripping apart the parts around it?
I've never encountered this, but I've also only used 1 or 2 fixed fans. The strongest and most secure method I've used is what I had in my original planes video with the two windshield railings on either side of the fan. This doesn't work with the vertical sidewalls though. Have you tried u/BilboniusBagginius' TIE fighter method with 2 steering sticks?
Ya know, while i love all of these designs there is just one thing that kinda tanks it for me in the end. The fact that you HAVE to manually put the fans and steering stick in every time you build it. The forward facing fan needing to be unlocked and facing the opposite direction of the locked back fan i know is what grants it the speed in your videos but i like using autobuild to quickly make a nimble and fast flyer to get around. I did use your ziprail design but just with both fans facing backwards and being locked onto the bottom rail and it handles well and is fast. I'm not complaining just explaining my own personal problems with these designs but i do genuinely like them. Keep up the good work man.
You don't need to add the fans and steering stick every time. Attach the loose fan to the rest of the vehicle and use that as your Autobuild favorite. Then, each time you use Autobuild the only thing you need to do is grab the front fan with Ultrahand and shake it loose.
what about that zonai bubble that everyone uses? Yeah you can attach the star fragment and fan with the water glob and it'll detach as soon as it spawns in and it doesn't even cost zonaite so its so free odd that it wasn't mentioned in the video
@@danielcardwell5457 not sure if you've figured it out. zonite conjured fans disapear, if you take out some fans from capsules before autobuild. You can detach them fine.
Always pleasant to see gamers drop truth bombs to show they aren't all "robot polishers" or mindless NPC's who believe every script the mockingbird media presents to them like the average person does.
@@woah571 Well then you are at least slightly smarter than the average NPC... but then again you're ACTUALLY the type of person to like all of your own comments 😅 Who goes around making the most basic comments and then IMMEDIATELY rushes to the like button to press and pat yourself on the back? Like great job bud! 👏 lmao 😂
@@seantv1510 okay...? sure, I sometimes act like an NPC, but your over here nitpicking someone in a RU-vid comment section. Edit: I've seen more people than I can count like their own comments, its not abnormal.
How do you prevent an autobuilt object that isn't attached to anything from disappearing, whenever I detach an autobuilt object so it's by itself, it disappears
Just basically looking at it it looks like something I built a week ago so maybe I was the first one that made it? Idk tho you can check to see for yourself
Now that they patched the rails to despawn after breaking from a build, you'll have to attach a fruit or something to a rail to save it. Keep the fruit attached while attaching to the build. If you need to detach, it'll waste a couple zonaite but that's alright. Save before building and reload the save if you consume too much zonaite
I'm encountering an issue when autobuilding this. I detach the front fan and it vanishes, and without it I can't move upward in the air. What do I do with the autobuild of this?
@@chesepuf What does that mean and how do I go about doing that? I've followed this guide as close as I can. Do I need to take out a fan from my inventory every time I build this?
I, u/Crimson_Hawk_2724, pending record holder in Forgotten Temple Sprint (1 minute 15 seconds) and Maw of Death Mountain 1800 (Air vehicle) (1 minute 5 seconds), challenge you to defeat my H.H.C.F. Hyrule Hyperspeed Crimson Flier
I don’t like this design for 2 reasons: 1) the plane cannot be turned off manually after landing. The fan stays active until you are a certain distance away. 2) it’s almost too heavy to move unless you re-attach the inner fan then reattach it again. Bad when enemies are approaching.
9:15 Hey, that's me! I'm gonna build this and report back on how it goes. UPDATE: I think I've got it working pretty well. I don't think I've got the loose fan pinched quite as tightly as it could be, because it will sometimes shift around on me, but despite that, this design is still a large improvement over the previous railjets I've built.
I have a fun idea on how to get the railing in 1.2.1, im gonna edit this comment and explain everything if it worked, my method will be without the fruit. EDIT: I got softlocked while ascending through a chasm, so no i dont think this works
This is such a tedious build for something that so bad, seriously it takes like an hour of tinkering to get it perfect and once you do it’s not even that much of a speed increase
Man I'm devastated, spent an hour tinkering with this and then accidentally had the stake holding together an important part that has ended up ruining the build 🥲 I 'salvaged' it somehow, though it doesn't fly straight lol. At least now I have an idea of what not to do, so I can try again. This was enough fun to fly even in a jank state that I'm determined to make it right.
Glad to hear you're enjoying the building process and the plane! I just released a new build guide which is a little simpler ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CuikXtugPj0.html
