Now is the perfect time to go fishing and catch hardly anything. If you aren't catching many fish right now, you are not alone. This time of year, the weather is nicer than the water. Its warm during the day, but still cold at night. The fish might not be as active as you think they are. I fished three busy public locations today and caught only one fish! I even tried a couple of different lures because I couldn't figure them out. So while it might feel like the perfect day, it might not be the perfect day for fishing. #realistic #fishing

I pick trash when I go out to almost all of my spots. It's just disrespectful for people to litter. Thank you for putting trash where it belonged!

My spot gets trashed like that too. Styrofoam worm containers and packages for lures....even a broken fishing pole. My inner boyscout gets fired up!

Went fishing Saturday. Fished with nightcrawlers three feet under a bobber. No bites for 45 minutes. Fished the worms on the bottom. Caught a huge bass but lost it close to the bsnk. Got another note later and got rained out at 12:00pm.Yes, I had a blast and I'll do it again. 😊😊

I feel your pain… as a public access fisherman without a car, I also always debate changing spots as it involves either public transit or a lot of walking… it’s still nice to be out there casting again even though I have yet to catch anything in ‘24… Keep it Realistic !!!

Keep up the grind brother! Like the Fall, early Spring can be finicky at times. Ended up with the golden sombrero last weekend, tried gulp minnows, then went up to a Rapala.......zilch!

Great catch Alex and it is nice to just be able to get out and fish. The Weather here is weird starting off this Spring with 30’s at night and 70 in the evening so the Fish are probably acting strange also. Stay safe my Friend

It seems that all I have done lately is cast. I have not had any luck catching anything lately. The only pull of the line during my last several trips has been from snags.

Sup Alex, is harder fishing when show up and more trash in water, already upset before cast, pigs. In RI we are limited on water to fish, any water that gets stocked can't fish til April 13th, at club we do ok when nobody hunting or shooting, but areas can't fish by laws, but kids can party and trash areas🦧, that's realistic 🤷, tyvm tc 🎣

I'm 51 yo. I grew up thinking that it was my generation that would clean this planet up. I was wrong. It's a damn shame to see how little respect people have for anything, these days, including my generation. PS I can put you on some Skipjack below JPP dam, but that's all I got so far, this year.
