Shovel is a neat tool to use; it can dig soft blocks in 3x3 tiles: It does its job and does well. Problem is, the shovel is very limited on its usage: It can only dig soft blocks. The catalog of "soft blocks" are slim: Dirt, sands, and hey, ash block is on the list as well!... but not many are there. So, there is a Terraria mod to improve this neat tool!... Although, there is only one shovel (that breaks stuff, that is) to be improved, to be honest...
