Jimin mentioned that when he was having trouble sleeping, Tae sent this song to him before it was released and Jimin immediately fell asleep and woke up to the song still playing on loop 🥺🥺🥺 he said that he listen to Winter Bear to fall asleep 🥺
fun fact, the two bears that hold the paper that has "winter bear" written on it on the cover for the song were gifted to tae by jimin during one of their run episodes as part of a gift exchange by members :)

Tae is a very artistic person. You can see it in his works too, like Winter bear. So simple yet so sweet. His vocals....do I even need to say...it's so soulful and calming. We were so proud to see him do a whole song in english. Also, his dad used to call him winter bear when he was small🥺💜💜💜and now the ARMY fandom follows that tradition. Also, Tae doesn't feel the song is complete, unless he can feel the desired emotion in his vocals, so he makes sure he can convey the message clearly through his vocals itself. I admire that about him so much💜 also, he had to wake up so early like, 4 in the morning, and was so tired yet he wanted to take the best shots possible, like the dawn and such, so he woke up, and he even included the part where he was yawning 😂
Some interesting fact about winter bear Taehyung was inspired by the movie "about time" during their tour, he stayed at the hotel alone and watched it jimin said during their tour despite their busy schedule instead of sleeping Taehyung went oit every day to record every short video he really did a lot of effort. Taehyung also said when he was in London he wanted to go out at 4:00 am to record the since sun rise "I made this song so i hope armys will like it" Kim Taehyung
Taehyung has one of those voices where you can literally feel warmth and comfort. Whenever i listen to winter bear! It makes me feel very nostalgic and i miss my family heaps! I'm from busan but i moved to Seoul for school and this song really brings me so much emotions all in one. so precious tae is! He surely knows the way to our heart 🥺💜

Their accents are so charming I remember I downloaded JK’s Lost Stars before I even knew who they were because I love covers of songs I love. His lil accent on some of the words was so charming!
There is a theory that Tae wrote this song for his Grandmother who passed away a few years ago. She basically raised him and was like a parent. Also his parents and grandmother used to call him baby bear, which could have been the inspiration to this song.😔
you don't need teories; there is a vlive with Jimin and Hope and V where everything is cleared up. It's not about grandmother, it's about a series that Jimin and V watched together in a hotel room. There is a woman who has just fallen asleep and a man who makes her an application while she is dragging!

Tae is very into photography he also is very skilled which he himself developed over the years. His photography "name" is Vantae. He usually prefers to take pictures of nature and anything he finds beautiful that he wants to share with us. He is a very artistic person and people usually call him to be an old soul. His genuine love for various forms of art makes me love him even more. He is not just a pretty face, he has a lot of genuine talent along with it for which he worked really hard for.

Also, Winter Bear video is largely photographed by V. The song was released on the 1000 days anniversary of the phrase 'I purple you' which V coined, a phrase that has become an expression of long lasting love and compassion in the fandom. It's also theorized that the song was written for his late grandmother. V, for most of his childhood, had lived with his grandma who had a huge impact on his amazing personality. So it's said that he dedicated this song to her, although V has not officially made any statement about the meaning of this song. 💜

Taehyung loves taking pictures and he really is good at it. His voice is so perfect for the song especially the scenery of the video its suits to his voice. Taehyung has a song called scenery which is about him taking pictures of how beautiful the scenery is.
i literally love all his solo songs specially the one they released on soundclouds, i always listen to them every night before i sleep. He just calms my heart and my soul to whatever i'm dealing with. His voice is my comfort and my kind of healing in BTS. I love BTS.

I love the voice of Taehyung, he is my bias for this reason, his voice is deep, emotional and healer because it cures the pain of the heart. He always express his emotions from the depths of his soul and you can feel the sincerity in his words, I love this multi talented boy, and Army has the theory that the song is dedicated to his grandma but Tae explain that the inspiration for this song is an film “about time” that speak about the possibility of travel in the time to change your pass but finally the main character of the movie understand that your pass is part of your life and you must live walking straight and learning from all life’s experience. Taehyung has such an unique mind. He comes up with the most beautiful and artistic ideas like the *Borahae - I purple you* phrase, the *Winter Bear* MV, his photographies (yet alone the name *Vante* which he chose as his alter ego because of one of his favorite artists called Ante!), also his own art (he‘s actually very good at drawing!) and with that the creation of his *BT21* Character *Tata* and even so much more! (Mostly shown in the BTS Run Episodes like with the pottery or where they are Florists and also the latest Episode where they had to create their own fashion) ADJSK Not to forget his acting skills and his beautiful role in *Hwarang!* (Hansung is the sweetest boy!) I‘m a freelancer artist and I wish I‘d just get such unique ideas like him. He never ceases to amaze me that‘s why I adore him so so much. He gives me a lot of inspiration!

Everytime i feel the weight of the world on my shoulders i go and listen to any of his solo songs. Whether it's winter bear, four o'clock, scenery, sweet night that recently was released as well, i find comfort in his songs. Taehyung has a healing gift, for sure. His voice, his esthetic his songwriting skills, and his photography, all of those mentioned always carry such a warm feeling to them. Taehyung is my bias because he has helped me heal and comforted me through his work without having to even know i exist.
