Yeah man, i agree! The @BeersBars boys have already experienced Labrinth on that 'No Church in The Wild' cover with Devlin and Ed Sheeran and loved his voice, too.
This track changed alot of our scene and the versatility potential with our music. No UK artist was doing music like this and had the commercial success to back it up. Tinie deserves his flowers.
1000000% agree with 99% of that except. Dappy was doing this at the same time with the same versatility but always gets over looked and underappreciated. Flowers for both these 2 legends! Regardless of it's bubblegum rap ❤
Tinie Tempah was big in the UK way back then! he had 7 number one hit singles, 14 UK top 10's and 22 top 40s hits. His other hits include Frisky ft Labrinth Till i'm gone ft Wiz Khalifa Earthquake with Labrinth Drinking from the bottle - Calvin Harris Trampoline ft 2 chainz Tsunami Written in the stars
This track changed the scene so much, but one of the first artists to this style beat on rap is so solid crew. 21 Seconds - so solid crew ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g7VhofoV3qs.htmlsi=yp-Zxz5d450yjghk Such a tune in the UK and in northern USA during the early 2000’s. So solid laid the path for modern grime music. And every rapper from the UK. DEFINITELY Knows this song
Tinie Tempah was probably the first from the UK/Grime scene to make success globally, some of his songs even charted in the US. Many of the younger up and coming generation thank Tinie for everything he did for the Modern UK Music scene. This song right here blew the entire UK up for an entire summer or two.
Got to credit Chip for taking him on tour with him. Ndubz was definitely someone that opened the doors to mainstream before Tinie as well. That generation, Tinie, Tynchy, Chip, Ndubz, Skepta etc really opened the doors for those who followed though and all deserve their flowers
This is very nostalgic for me coming from the uk tinie tempah and labyrinth was the best but our best rappers are definitely the likes of skepta akala giggs potter ghetts n obviously loads more
Damn id just turned 18 and started working in nightclubs when this song dropped, nostalgic af... We had a few live shows to so got to meet professor green, sway, scorcher and faith sfx while i was working there. This reminds me have these dudes ever reacted to sway? Level up, still speeding ect were bangers in the clubs but even his earlier work like little derick and magic roundabout was sick.
As everyone is already saying, Earthquake, definitely should react to that. But one everyone seems to forget about is his track with Wiz khalifa, till im gone. Edit: thanks for this, sent me on a rabit hole listening to a load of UK music from this era, banger after banger
He was one of the few artists in the mainstream UK charts that I actually really liked back in the early 2010s. He had some bangers back then. The one you've probably heard is Written in the Stars, but he had a song with Labyrinth which was quite similar to this one. Definitely used that 8-bit type sound a lot in his production
Tinie Tempah was the vibe back in 210 , any holiday resorts in the UK especially Skegness all the bars was blasting this and how many times I kissed girls to this song on a night out 😂 .. tinie Tempah ft Wizz Khalifa till I'm gone 👌🏼
Please can you listen to some N-Dubz!! They are owed so much from the UK scene and have some of the most genius songs. Tinie Tempah now makes his money from fashion
Na when Tinie dropped Disc-Overy it was a gamechanger and is still one of the most iconic albums in the UK scene You should check out his Junk Food EP where he went full Grime And now he's just chilling doing TV presenting and interior design
About time you guys done this! Hope you’ve still got the list of his other hits that I gave you! And Tinie disappeared after Chip put pen to paper and dissed him.
Hey guys, were you military at all? Just where you mentioned being in Belgium and Asia? Love your content and I second reviewing Earthquake by Labrinth
2:45 GUYS!!! Remember?!?!? Chip was saying..”what’s that? You’re out here now or what?” Please tell me you remember that?! He said multiple times “Oi Tinie”…pretty sure it was the Bugzy Beef.
Tinie's big in the art collection world now, got his own clothing brand and married to an artist. He presented the Turner Prize 2023 award last December if you want to look up what he's on now
Tiny is Chips biggest 'enemy'. If you think back to Chip v Bugzy, Chip v Yungen that you covered, his name features throughout all those beefs. Either called Tiny or his government name Patrick. He pretty much started all that beef by dissing Chip on his FITB which Chip replied to and then Bugzy joined in on his FITB. The first few disses from Chip were mainly to Tiny and few shots at others that led to the beef. Tiny is in Bugzys first diss song video to Chip at the stadium, hes in Yungens video at the petrol station too.
@@BeersBars Guys, let me refresh your memory…you’ll kick yourselves…. Chip had bars for him in his beef with Bugzy. Here’s a few examples (you’ve still missed some by the way…and I don’t think you’ve done any of Chips FITB have you?!? Anyway - here’s some reminders: Tinie Tempah - real name is Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu Song: Dic*head - “Chipmunk can’t run out of bars, no I’m not Tinie, dickhead Hat-Tricks for dickhead, Patrick’s a dickhead, Chipmunks a sick head. Song: 96 Bars of Revenge - JME on Production “Back to Patrick, yeah, mad ting I can't lie, can't stand him It's coming closer, l planned it Woke me up, gotta thank him About what have I done for the scene? When I was on tour, I brang him He came to mine for dinner before his Fire in the Booth And you wonder why I can't stand him? I be writing a lot 'Cause I haven't been writing enough And if I hear any funny things On your mixtape coming, l'll be lighting you up Swear down, don't try it again Want me to stop? Link me or find your pen Because I got bars for your high horse I don't give two f*cks if you know Ralph Lauren I dissed your Fire in the Booth 'Cause you took shots at all the underground **** And now you wanna do a mixtape with who? All the underground **** Funny how things turn out It's funny how things turn 'round Stick to Jess Glynne, don't look back Or you'll see me when you turn 'round Let your management let you manage this I'm only keeping it raw I'll be pi*sed if I died and my fans don't know how l feel Going mad tryna hold this stuff in Grab the pen, let him have it, f*ck it Grade, Henney, psh, buzzing” and so on. There’s others where he says things like “Tinie, you out here now?” If you react the Chips FITB’s (There’s 4)…one of them includes an angry (yet accurate) rant and he says things like “Oi Tinie you got bars today or nah, that’s what you’re not good at?” Then when Chip returns to FITB he starts by telling Charlie Sloth to “listen, please” and starts by straight up saying some DJ’s kiss arse so much, “wipe the sh*t off your lips”. Then Charlie talks about it…I can’t believe you haven’t reacted to any of his FITB videos?!? Unless SOMEHOW I’ve missed it but I really don’t think so. There are multiple tracks that are brilliant from Chip including diss tracks that I haven’t seen you do and I’ve checked your playlist, trust me. Also…remember you reacted to ‘Game Over’ with Giggs, Professor Green, Example and others…well Chip and Tinie were on that as well. If you reply back I can write you a proper list of ones you’ve somehow not been told about or have missed or whatever. Let me know.
Tinie Tempah has his own record label 'Disturbing London' and also has an entertainment company that does boxing promotions and things like that. Big up TT, smashing tings in the background still
Throwing in this wildcard, for old hood rats running cars in London. Love them or hate them they changed up Garage to Grime as a thing back in the early 00's. So Solid Crew had a crazy run - 21 Seconds To Go, Ride with us, They dont know. Then part of the crew was Oxide & Neutrino, their Bound 4 Da Reload, Shoot to kill (Ali G Soundtrack) and Up Middle Finger, No Good For Me and the unique Devils Nightmare. Lisa Mafia with Romeo Dunn and All Over.
@@RickyT15 yeah I know. It’s not the fact he went to TV, it was the type of shows he makes that is an unusual path. It’s like dion Dublin going from premier league football to homes under the hammer.
@@billydennis899 don't see the big deal. Tv/film roles while you generally perform better in more natural roles to you, the roles don't matter at the end of the day. Long as they do it well.
@@RickyT15 you seem to be missing the point here. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing. In fact I enjoyed watching them. I’m just saying it’s not the conventional route in TV to take. What are you not getting?
