As I have said before: Sarah, you put the joy in enjoy. You have 159,000 people who love what a happy person you are. Thank you for doing this one and for your enthusiasm!
I just watched this reaction and I just had to comment and tell you how down I've felt this morning until seeing the joy you had reacting to this song. You put a smile on my face and have given me the energy to get up and enjoy life instead of sitting around the house wasting the day feeling sorry for myself! You are a bundle of joy that radiates happiness to all who watch you! Thank you, you really did just make my day!
It was a bit unreal, Bruce hated doing it but MTV was God, you had to have a video. He particularly disliked doing the lip synching and the dreadful acting.
As soon as I saw the song, wondered how long before you saw Courtney Cox. As soon as Friends cracked the surface, one of best "before they were famous moments" ever.
This video showed up in my recommendations. After watching it I binged a few others of yours to verify this wasn't a fluke, and no - all your videos are like this. Your excitability, your joyfulness, your joie de vivre are infectious. Thank you for brightening up my day!
I've seen hundreds of performers live, Bruce was the best entertainer I've ever experienced, not necessarily my favorite, but the most engaging, it was 1984, the post-punk era.. He connected with his audience as if he wanted nothing but pure joy for everyone, generous with 4hours and 40 mins, every single person dancing, lights on, even those that don't normally dance. Bruce is the real deal
Bruce is one of the greatest live performers in the history of music. And what you're watching there is really the worst version of him. That's his 'gone Hollywood' phase. Soon after that, he abandoned all that crap and went back to his roots and his authentic self. Watch some live shows from the 70s, or after the comeback in the 90s/00s. Totally different thing, and quite amazing.
I've been a Bruce Springsteen fan as far back as I can remember. I remember when I was 8 I thought he was my boyfriend and we were going to get married. My dad thought that was so cute 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
When this song came out did anyone even know who Ms Cox was? Certainly, nobody I knew. We all thought she was just a pretty girl Bruce pulled out of the audience.
Ooooh! I know The Boss since I was a kid..... But thanks so much Sarah ! You make me emotion by this song again. Uffff! You are incredible! Thank You so much! So much love to You.
Great reaction, Sarah! "Dancing in the Dark" is on Springsteen's 1984 album Born in the U.S.A., one of his biggest sellers. And the girl Bruce pulls up onto the stage to dance with him is then-unknown Courteney Cox, later famous for the sitcom Friends.
Your videos are tremendous - thank you....And keep riding the Bruce train...You will not be disappointed...One suggestion that you may not get from anyone else is his song Bobby Jean
Lol ❤ always love your reactions!!! He was something alright, still is 😊 I was in my 20s when this hit MTV. Hope you explore lots more of deep soul! Peace
Unfortunately Sarah this is when Springsteen sold out when he released this album. I am an early Springsteen fan. I had little time for him after this apart from one or two albums which went back to his roots. Sorry.
Oh! You mean "sold out" like when Bob Dylan started playing electric guitar? Give us a break! Yeah, who want's to listen to songs they enjoy? That's just crazy!
If you have to change with the times is it really selling out or is it good business. Its easy to say he sold out but do you really know what you would do if it was you.Bob Dylan sold out with one of the greatest songs in history called like a rolling stone ,if he would have done that with an acoustic guitar and harmony would we be saying that about it
