I used to be able to handle humid heat like Saigon or Singapore fine when I lived there for 5+ years. As soon as I moved to a drier country, all that adaptability was gone. Now I can barely stand the heat with my shorts and sports tee.

Thank you for this video. Corruption is a sincere problem and everybody knows about it, from traffic police up to the individuals you just mentioned. I wanted to get a life insurance policy so my VN wife will have money after I inevitably pass, buy she said all the insurance companies are fraudulent and wouldn't honor the contract/policy. Premiums, she said, would be more like donations.

t is a wonderful and beautiful country with lovely people. I served there in the "American war" ( I am a Aussie 🇦🇺) I have revisited VietNam several times since and the people are getting on with life and not pointing the finger at those of us who served there, in fact we have been welcomed. Many are only too happy to point out some officials as being corrupt, but seem helpless to do anyting about it and accept it as a way of life. I am confident that we in Aussie too are subject to corruption , however it is well hidden and concealed or glossed over by officials and probably not on the scale of that in VietNam. However people should not be put off visiting the country as people are lovely and the Government is doing its best to tackle the problem as it causes distrust of the Communist Party. We are revisiting again later this year as the country, people . prices, service and food are amazing !!🇻🇳. Great Video

The only reason they could have made it so quick bcuz they had hooked up and involved in her cases in very beginning already, when everything run with one and only party, you can only "cheating" within them so it's just until you try to do something behind their back or try to took over the control then they just easily lock you up with all the evidents. This type of fraud is created by Evil china. They the chinese communists in china use this type of methods to embezzle money from their own country. Then, they send out trainers to Malaysia, Phillippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong kong, and they do the exact same thing. There are many fake companies, fake stocks, fake mutual funds created by china government gangs and they market it to all the smaller Asian nations and steal their money. Go watch the news from smaller Asian countries, they have have similar fraud cases just like this one!!

Actually, all SCB depositors got back their deposits in full. The government lent SCB money and put SCB under special control. Only Van Thinh Phat's bond owners haven't received their investment. Truong My Lan has to return money to the bond owners and to SCB so it can pay back the government's lending.

There are half built buildings all over the whole country. It’s all part of a scam- I have not figured out the details- but it’s definitely a huge scam in this country. In every tourist destination in Vietnam- there are projects that get framed up and even windows installed- then boom - the money is gone and 10 years later the building is deteriorating alone prime ocean front property. I am talking 100 of them. Maybe more.

Rubbish. The case has only come to court because that woman circumvented her masters; in Vietnam fraud and corruption is endemic and very cultural - the ones who get 'caught' are the ones who don't pay their masters sufficient ill gotten proceeds. It's very well known!
