@@DrNumber I am aware, which is why it doesn’t need to be highly competitive. From a content standpoint it would be extremely fun to watch. Nobody says all content has to be done by people at the same competitive level and either way, Evample doesn’t play sweaty.

he's propping up new young players to help get their name out there and grow the sport. he's one of the best ambassadors of a competition we all enjoy, but the garbage ass community has too much shit like this where being toxic is being cool and being an ambassador for the sport and being nice to new players is seen as weak. pathetic shit and you'll realize that if/when you grow up

@@thom4s033 i mean he's not wrong. it's a really great game but the state of the game right now is probably the worst it's ever been in terms of toxicity, smurfs, servers, teammates etc. the culture of the game has gotten to a point where being a dogshit teammate who whines and complains and blames everyone and throws are legitimately seen as respectable actions. it's not weird to look at rocket league right now and be bummed out that it's a really good game with arguably the worst playerbase in the history of gaming, and is now run by a bunch of soulless corporate marketing experts rather than passionate devs who want to improve the gameplay experience, which leads to them fixing "problems" like players being able to trade with each other instead of actually trying to address any of these legitimate issues.
