Best part is that he could've c.S > 5h wallbounce > H Kabari to wall break but didn't have meter for super wallbreak,so instead he went for early knockdown guarantee corner. LK routing and pressure is so satisfying.
Any particular reason for routing c.S into 2S in blockstring offense? Especially off knockdown offense. Just curious; great video! Love these gameplay session videos!
Typically you do that just to make one more frametrap; one more choice where they have to decide either to challenge you and risk getting blown up on CH, or keep blocking and potentially let you reset the pressure. If you went straight to 5H/2H/2D, youd let go of the offense pretty quickly and not give yourself much flexibility. Of the remaining options, 2S is just a bit better suited to this kind of pressure than 5S or 6P.
If you're confused about the start, you need to do a high jump (down then jump) to get that combo. Also, I found that sometimes 2K doesn't work (might depend on timing) so I use 5K
@@thisistherun4015 yeah, so in that part, he got a 'Burst-Bait' by making Nago whiff it (LK blocked it). As Nago is falling down he tagged him with the c.S, which is usually the Ladder starter, with a buffered jump into Youzansen. That clip I had tagged previously above just started without the c.S, but it's similar. He actually mentions it again at 7:14 too.
No problem. If you want to learn how to do the Ladder, look up a video on it, as it's an advanced combo with very specific techniques required to get it working. Takes a lot of practice just to even get it to work at first, and then more practice to land it all the time.
LK has talked about this, he says that in this games the tools she has are incredibly deep in the application. Before she had more but, they were much more linear in application.
