*Boots up halo for the first time in 10 years* "Time to have fun and relive memories!" That one tryhard who's been playing since release without a single break:
Literally my brother. He stopped playing halo 3 before halo reach came out, he gets back on and destroys everyone with a sniper. I freaked out because he was using controller.
@edward delorme I had this problem on black ops 2 360 days. My aim kept getting messed up by the dumb aim assists, even if I turned it off, it would still be on.
@@freezerjesus well i would agree if the matchmaking was a bit more consistent. i want to constantly go against people my skill level or better and not just go against better players one game and beginners the next. it just ruins the fun for me and the other players imo. other than that then yeah you have a good point
I love how different Halo's pvp is from other FPSs. There's not as much emphasis on catching you while reloading or between scoping and more on area control and prediction. Those beams you're getting are only possible because of how good you track the other players, and you know where they're going to be so you can predict where to aim.
My friend was always really good at this. Could always accurately predict where players would be. And not just predicting their spawn locations, but where their actions would lead them.
It's actually incredible how deep of a connection you can have to a video game from your childhood. Just watching elicits so many emotions and good memories from that game... It's sad to think we'll never be able to go back to it, but I'm grateful I grew up in that generation of gaming. Can't imagine not playing Halo
Dude, for real. The 90's into the early 2000's was THE golden era of gaming. You have it right, lets just be glad we got to grow up in it. I genuinely feel bad for kids today, getting spoiled by good graphics while being fed crap stories and fetch quests. Not to mention how bad the matchmaking is in modern day FPS games. Who the fcuk wants perfectly balanced lobbies EVERY game. Boring, boring as hell.
@@KnowMotivation Yep, well said. Makes me happy that, like you said, the nostalgia is sooo real with some games. Hearing the music to some games literally lets me see the levels and backgrounds in my head lol. I love it.
I recently revealed the genders of my two girlfriends. It got a lot of hate and now has 30 times more dislikes than likes. I am really sad that people can be so mean. Sorry for using your comment to talk about my problems, dear sal
The methodical and calm way you take out enemies while also trying to predict their behavior and find the most effective way to kill them gives your play style and more predatory vibe

@@sodium7127 wildest part of learning is not the game itself, it’s how that specifically pertains to you personally. It’s like how you have to get the normal language of something to even develop your own slang. I’m still poking at it lol
Sometimes it's entertaining to stay and see how hard a guy like him owns. Like the Elite player who got snap-headshot out of midair for example. My reaction to that would be "You deserved that. I'm not even mad."
@@justin9935 facts we are like a family we share the same nostalgia and love to the game. Real halo players understood how fun matches where and no one really cared for kda
My Friends and i were addicted to this game, splitscreen Sessions in two separate rooms by System link, or just playing online, it was the best game gameplay wise! I almost tear up thinking about those times! Nice Skills btw
oh yeah same. it later carried onto halo reach, but halo 3 was it man. Me and my friend used to play it alot and we got really good aswell. I don't wanna trash on this guy but when I was good back in the day I'd dunk on this guy, no joke and the people he's killing are absolute trash, let's be honest. Me and my friend used to play doubble team or whatever it was called and we were reaaaally good. I later in 2014 or if it was 2013 ? I played black ops 2 aswell and had another friend who I played alot of doubble team with (or whatever it was called there) and we even went on that tournament site and played against others who just wanted to get better at the game. The truth is that you don't get better at these games if you play against noobs like it's showcased in this video. But that brings back the memories, becuase we went on that grind and got really good :') alot of good memoreis
the friends i made in halo 3 back in 09' im still friends with today. we were playing halo infinite 2 days ago. one of them even flew out from arizona to where me and my other irl friends we all play with together to meet.
@@siegpasta Yeah, this guy is really shit. Just knows where the spawns are and relies too heavily on the sniper (which is OP). Even his aiming is shit. His opponents also sucked. All of them attempted to charge him without taking cover and using vantage points, leading to easy sniper kills.
Yeah I remember the OG days this and MW2 running nukes the glory days of staying up late and made friends then one day went online for the last time, dark depression consumed me. But it's never too late to pick up those sticks, time to show these kids what's up, does anyone still talk on headsets ? I'm afraid it'll never be the same racist smack and hate crimes that I grew up with . Good times.
@@ChipChurp play quake, then you’ll get showed “what’s up” also not in mcc but in the new modern warfare people still shit talk, at least in Aus servers. Also I hope your depression is getting better, sounds rough.
Matched against you on blackout yesterday, warned my buddy, he didn't believe it was really you. You got that sniper and we realized real quick. I got a few kills on you at least, hope my buddies and I end up in a video, you got a sick collat on us lol
I like how it's not even flashy or high level, your just kinda going through the motions like taking out trash. Not hating just alot of noob squashing. There was like no aggression in there play.
@@theshanamaster exactly what I thought! People shooting at him from 20 metres away while dual wielding haha. My friend and I used to play MLG and attended small tournaments in Scotland/England and played with some big names. Kampy and Orlando being good online friends back then. Still watch montages like the str8 Rippin montage every month just for a good nostalgia hit. Real men show MLG 50 Exterminations! Edit: not saying fat rat is bad at all, just that that was a damn nice lobby haha
Yeah this is literally nothing lol It's JUST a game. The way it's being posted is making me criticize however. After 16 years you shouldn't still be 2 tapping with a sniper and you shouldn't be double stacking heavy weapons like T2 This is literally just .... Gameplay 😂
I had that happen to me in Reach MP the other day. It was so frustrating because the map was almost completely open and there were very few weapons on the map. I spent most of the game getting basically spawn killed by people who had managed to find a ranged weapon.
I haven't played Halo in 12 years, This game, and this map were obsessions of mine. Thank you for the trip down memory lane, your skills were incredible.
A honky-tonk (also called honkatonk, honkey-tonk, or tonk) is both a bar that provides country music for the entertainment of its patrons and the style of music played in such establishments. It can also refer to the type of piano (tack piano) used to play such music
@@rolandorosales1 That's an insane snipe, but it didn't have the same casual effect as the one snipe. Fatrats just a different beast altogether hahaha.
This is what memorizing a map looks like. Knowing all the ways the enemy will spawn and can go, goes a long way. Used to see similar in many older games due to smaller more confined maps compared to modern shooters
When you don't rely on invis/os yet guard those spawn points well while controling the power weapons; that's when you are in the Halo zone. They come to you.
This is exactly my experience while I play FPS games online but reversed. Literally all the time when I spawn, some random dude headshoting me out of nowhere 😭
National Hockey League games are contested over three 20-minute periods. If the score is tied after 60 minutes, the game moves to a five-minute, sudden-death overtime where the first goal wins.
Halo 3 is my all time favorite game. The multiplayer was the best I have ever played. What I loved about the game is that the better team or player was going win 9/10 times unless the teams were evenly matched. Teamwork was essential and using strategy you could outsmart and defeat teams were more skilled/accurate. Just because another player sees you first and you have back turned doesn’t mean your dead. After halo 3, I felt the game tried to copy cod and if I wanted to play cod, I would play cod. So I started playing cod as main multiplayer first person shooter afterwards. If the game ever went back to it’s root, I would jump back in a heartbeat.
@@jgtheman84 maybe from a competitive standpoint Halo 2’s gameplay mechanics are better but I doubt anyone could convince me 3 isn’t the best halo game. From top to bottom start to finish the game is a fucking masterpiece. Even random shit like the Easter eggs were just amazing
@@RareDay infinite is still trash compared to 3. Bad net code, janky hit detection and a lack of game modes, and customization really killed that game for me. Honestly the closest we've gotten to the classic halo feel in years is Splitgate and that's saying alot.
Bro you are God level with that sniper. I’m not even a gamer or anything and I’m stupid impressed. The first 20-30 seconds, I’m like “what am I even watching” then after 2 mins, I’m like “this guy is unreal 😧”.
@@gottaproxy8826 same lol. doubble team or whatever it was called, watching MLG highlights at school. rushing home to play with my mate, playing against better and better players, improving, dreaming about one day maybe being as good as "iGotUrPistola" as I was sleeping. repeat the next day. Those were the days ;)
I remember playing halo 3 all the time like 8 hours a day as a kid and I dont think I was half as good as this kid. Dude is consistant with these games pub stomping kids.
the thing about these kind of videos is that it's always against people significantly lower in skill/rank to you. I miss the days where you had rank 48-50 MLG playlist players goin at it.
Bro I hate the algorithm. Punishes you for being good. I got a 1.4 win to loss ratio while having about a 50% first place finish rate when there’s 8 players in the match smh
@@jamesnelson8469 halo 3 is a game that the result doesn't really matter imo it's the moment to moment combat experience which makes it fun and engaging however ymmv
Halo single player : set in a huge space Odyssey, venturing between galaxy's in a system far away. Halo Multiplayer : Welcome to an abandoned Target Warehouse
How is he? He’s absolutely average, he wouldn’t be in the same league as the MLG players of old, his snipes are messy, his BR is weak, his movement and positioning is amateur The only reason he looks half decent in these games because he’s playing none competitive games against terrible players and sometime even guests. Go look at footage of the ogre twins, snipedown, pistola, legit, neighbour etc and the rest of the halo greats and you’ll see what real top class play is like
@@samplexample What is there to be salty about? I played this game at high level, I competed in tournaments, I was sponsored by multiple different esports teams. I just can’t fathom how somebody posting shit videos has got such a big following
Halo 2 was the best online shooting game ever i use to play that for hrs and hrs days on in i swear it was so fun and addicting miss those good ol days
I don’t think people are fully appreciating your evasiveness and ability to maneuver around a crowd. 2:23 being a prime example. Lots of other instances where you could have gotten greedy but instead played it smart to maintain map control. *chefs kiss*
controllers are better in this game because you get auto-aim help. its a very tiny ammount, but it helps a LOT. which actually makes it harder to aim with a mouse and keyboard. it sounds crazy but it's true.
Wow. This brings back so many good memories. And also people being traumatized for life by the things being said in the lobby’s. 😂. Sorry if I hurt anyone. I’m a changed man.
You know he ain't pulling this off on ranked team slayer maybe but hardcore that's like that would make him an insane god dude like ranked is full of people like him hardcore is painful dude
He’d probably get overkill’s every once in a while but his sprees wouldnt last long on average. It’s not that he couldn’t pull off the shots, his aim is really consistent. It’s that enemies take cover more in ranked, and start off with BRs
This was stunning gameplay. Nostalgia for sure. I was one of the “50s” 48 in mlg and this is how we looked in social slayer. I was no where near this good though. Bravo.
I miss these days…Crazy matchmaking sessions, watching Chris Puckett ESPN top 10 plays, LAN parties… Halo 2/3 had such a smooth flow to them that Fortnite, Apex Legends, etc just don’t have
What a LEGEND! everyday jus watching your clips and knowing how hard you must have worked and how much energy u had to put into attaining that level inspires me. Today everyone is wall hacking, aim botting, COPYRIGHTING, and jus bein shady af. YOU A REAL ONE!
Seems about right, I use to play like this during halo 3 xbox 360, while using the sniper, I would get 1 hit instant kill shots, I use to play a lot of CTF and Game battles. I would average 25-30 in solo lobby's yelling at my team to stop feeding, I would have like 1-3 deaths while my team added up to about 20-30.
Anytime you get "perfection" it's impressive. But no BR start, radars enabled....the real ones know his competition was trash. Do this in hardcore, that'd be insane.
Man this brings back memories! Me and my buddies used to grind out level 50 account 1 month Xbox live accounts and sell em for cash! This was always one of our favorite maps.
