Who gives a shit about immigration, as long as mortgage rates come down, end to cost of living, house prices fall and life becomes better and more affordable then I couldn’t give a shit if immigrants are living in my garage. The whole country is absolutely obsessed with immigration, that’s all people talk about. Immigration isn’t the reason why we’re in a mess.
Stamer can’t even make a decision what a woman is. How is he possibly going to make decisions running a country? I’m voting reform, will do more for the working class than the Labour Party who despise them!
Look at how the portuguese are living. Thats what's waiting for you. Its gonna happen in slow motion tho so it will seem like everything is fine at first. But over time people will start realizing they dont have purchasing power like they used to. The government will keep your brain numb by saying how much they increased the minimum wage and people will blame their poverty on inflation and big companies and be oblivious to the fact that the ones giving employment are the businesses and those are slowly leaving the country. The education system will slowly degrade only to prepetuate the issue. People will stop being able to afford houses, so the government will increase the rules for the landlords, and so the landlords will stop investing in cheaper rentals and so the rental prices will go up. The government will make it super hard to evict people, therefore the landlords will ask for a huge deposit upfront to protect themselves in case their tenant stops paying rent.
The book by Larken Rose called "The Most Dangerous Superstition" is very illuminating on how we are being FINANCIALLY RAPED by bloated and out of touch governments and how unnecessary they are, especially COMMUNIST ones like the Labour COMMUNISTS.
Have you seen what the Tories did, by the by? Austerity is an economic policy that bankrupted the country. The UK is now the equivalent to the poorest state in the US; Mississipi. No growth no innovation based on tax cuts for the rich. The rich are richer and the poor are poorer and that was aways the plan.😢😢😢😢 1:47
I'm working class, I work 48hrs a week to survive no time and not enough money to live. I've just had to sell my car because insurance is so high and other bills. I can't get a NHS dentist so I have to go privet which makes me skint. But you will do nothing you pr.cks.
Im from Malta I can speak from experience A labour or socialist governmeny will ruin a country. Look at Malta and what the labour party has done Vote anyone but never a labour party
I'd be happy to give a few grand for a stake in our own wind farm to secure my energy for the next 25 years. It's time to give the power back to the people instead of the profiteering energy companies.
Labour never do what they promise unless it's for something unwanted by the people , the first thing that they do is a budget to take money off working people, they do it every time they are reelected ,some people have short memories, unless of course you have always been a workshy layabout then they can't do enough for you .
Fcuk labour scum. U still remember blair and iraq. Brown neglecting working class voters for wealthy bankers and ill never forget kier the wankier for being a traitorous wankier. Fcuk the useless NHS. Fcuk illegal immigration and fcuk billionaire bankers but mostly fcuk the labour party.
Mate a 3.5MW wind turbine costs £3,000,000 and produces 7,000,000kWh a year, in 2022 to UK consumed 275.24 terawatt hour of energy that is 275,240,000,000,000 kilowatt-hours. You would need 39,320,000 3.5MW wind turbines, as of now the UK has 11,000 wins turbines and produced 75,000,000,000 kWh we would need to we would need to x4000 our current wind electricity capabilities and it would cost (going by my 3.5MW turbine model) £117,960,000,000,000, that is £117 trillion, 960 billion, the current gdp of the UK is £2.2 trillion. So I don’t think a couple grand will help build a win farm friend
Considering this is titled what you'd do differently, I was really hoping for more concrete policy. "More doctors", "more police" is something every party promises, it needs to be explained where the funding for that comes from. The super nebulous promise of "growth" is increasingly hard to believe when you're cutting back on your promises for all the big capital investment projects that would create growth. I wish you'd stick re-comitting to HS2 in full there as it would fit with the "build a better britain" theme, though I know why you don't, though I do think it's cowardly to kowtow to NIMBYs. The GB energy thing here is the only actual concrete proposal here in the whole video which is good in itself but disappointingly sparse, especially given how we don't know the way that entity would function in any reasonable level of detail.
But why? They release their manifesto too early and the Tories will copy it rendering it useless. This is a long game, a waiting game, a game that Labour is going to win.
@@westhulltiger I take your point, but policies which trigger rage in Tories would prevent them taking them on board. That’s the Tories’ political technique and it works for them. Labour must learn.
Both hard right people and hard left people like you say the Tories and Labour are the same. Which suggests the only difference is their competency, and therefore Labour seems the right party to govern.
So you voting Tory then? NO - exactly - Labour only party that can deliver change - not voting Labour whether you are further left or not is like voting Tory - especially in marginal seats
Diet Tory, no added sugar but just as bad for you. Starker don’t forget is a millionaire. Given how hard it is for ordinary people to earn a living, I can’t imagine the potency of the drugs being taken at the Labour Party at the moment to appoint a clear Tory in a red tie as leader. I won’t vote Tory, I won’t vote Labour, I’ll never vote Lib Dem again after the 2010 U turn on tuition fees, I don’t trust the greens to be practical in their idealism. I think I’ll stay home in this election.
Youve presented a LOT of fluffing here. Increasing wages will lead to more INSANE inflation. I need to know 2 key things you have said NOTHING about if you want to gain my vote. (Ive been a lifetime Conservative voter). 1. Will you scrap the changes to the spouse visa requirements? 2. How much are you going to INCREASE taxes by to offset the wage increases?
Maybe there's little need to change tax rules, if you just stop alot of the tax avoidance and evasion. He can't say that, though, can he? - it would frighten off too many potential Tory voters.
My Labour Party, my Labour Party, my Labour Party, me, me, me, my, my, my, mine, mine, mine, my Labour Party, my Labour Party, my Labour Party, mine, mine, mine... NEVER OUR!!!!!!! 😡
….you have a short memory. Corbyn was a Brexiteer and supported the Tories make you poorer, remove your rights, remove your freedom of movement. Do you consider Corbyn trustworthy ?
We can't just 'rejoin the EU'. The EU has stated they won't even CONSIDER an application until the question is settled, i.e. when all parties agree and there is a clear mandate from the public we want to rejoin. That's why Starmer is saying closer alignment in the next parliament, not rejoining - he couldn't even if he wanted to. Maybe if more people had understood how the EU works, or mostly hadn't been lied to, we wouldn't have left in the first place.
When are you going to tell the British public how many immigrants we are going to get in the country when you join is back in the EU is when you join back in the EU we’re gonna take a fair share of immigrants from abroad so you tell me how many people are gonna come back into this country after we send the ones back out I have been checking up on this and anybody can go and check it and look up French Germany and all the EU countries and see how many immigrants they’ve got in their country and we’ve got to take a fair share when we join back up in the EU so you think the immigrant immigrant so bad now wait until we get John back in the EU plus we have to pay the US well so I can explain that to the British public or are you going to tell me about that
Funny you have to make a video on this. Should have spent the time in parliament actually opposing the opposition and demonstrating how you would do things differently. I also find Starmer that Starmer does not display concrete beliefs and instead leans to where the wind is blowing. Also, his historically held beliefs have all been conveniently dropped and he goes against what he has said historically. Whatever it takes to get power, what's the point when you have abandoned who you said you were? at the expense of your identity. 2 cheeks of the same backside!!!
It actually is that easy, start by scrapping the most ridiculous loopholes like the one Jeremy hunt used to avoid paying stamp duty by buying 7 properties simultaneously. Then move on to the property tax caps which mean houses worth 10s of millions pay the same rates as houses worth half a million... why not broaden the scope of the tax system, what about a trust tax for all those old money families avoiding inheritance tax generation after generation.
my question to all parties ? if MINIMUM LIVING WAGE IS £11.44 per hour x 40 x 52 £23,795.00 ?? WHY DO YOU PAY YOUR PENSIONERS £11,000.00" less" than the minimum living wage , after working 50 years to get a pension it's disgusting , any party can answer ?
Not a single concrete policy apart from GB Energy. Sure, You’d want growth, but the question is how? You would need more capital investment for that, but Lab already announced they won’t do that bc it’s not ‘affordable’. Then it’ll be continuing stagnation. Tories can do that too.
The only thing the labour party would do differently is let any1 n everyone allowed to stay here indefinitely. No matter what their background is. I can only hope that there's a divine intervention nxt yr and put a real government in2 office. And that's not the LibLabCons.
This does not give me hope. Whenever the government speaks in a manner that is this ambiguous, it just means they don't mean what they say so that they can take back their words later
@Dragonaut111 when our tax system was being built it was constructed in such a way that once your net worth exceeds normal you're basically beyond the scope of the tax man, most billionaires pay lower taxes than their lowest paid employee. Its simply a matter of your accountant figuring out which of the many loopholes best suit your circumstances and exploiting them to their full potential. I'm talking about trusts, I'm talking about moving assets "offshore", and I'm talking about non dom status. The entire system has been designed to keep poor people poor and keep rich people rich
And what have the Tories done, can't even get an ambulance or police but they have money to build a speedy train. Who's going to be getting on those when people are in living crisis.
What the Tories are doing to Foreign spouses who are LEGALLY applying to come here - THAT is more unforgivable. Tories are crushing #HumanRights as we speak. Maybe its time for #Labor to have a #SecondChance. MAYBE. P.s Livetime Tory voter - #neverAgain
We met in America at university, lived there 4 years together, she spent a year or two in china whilst i finished my studies, then lived with me for 4 years in the UK before this shit happened. Not all of them abuse the system. Many of them are genuine and this is screwing us who are.@@Ilovejesusalways.
The billionaire owned press have conned you into thinking they're all the same, in their attempts to keep avoiding tax (by paying some of it back to the Tories as donations). The data shows a very different story.
Starmer seems keen to build a bitter Britain with his current foreign policy on war crimes and his "clarifications" on his policies. His local representative is running very scared at the moment. A new non-local MP foisted onto an ultra safe Labour seat causing upset in the local machine, they will be aware of the non-local interests pursued as an MP by now. They still turned out religiously to vote for the party as per usual. This religious zeal may not be so dependable in the climate of war.
MPs get a similar threat and intimidation as the rest of the U.K. has been experiencing through extremism for years and crumble. Starmer should be ashamed as the appeasement would make Neville Chamberlain blush. Best way to encourage intimidation is to prove it works and never police or punish crime
I was looking forward to voting Labour for the 1st time in my life (I'm 66). I've just heard Sir Starmer confirm he will ditch the Rwandan agreement regardless. He just lost you my vote !
Change, Yes. More help and encouragement to immigrants, more power to Muslims, and an even less efficient NHS. Not to mention the tax on all but the homeless. I can't wait for Labout to get in and bring on the schadenfreude.
One side has evil intentions while the other has good intentions. Both sides will promise similar, but one side will do the opposite, if they get in, while the other tries their best to deliver. The billionaire owned newspapers will tell you otherwise, but data backs this up.
You'll do everything in your power to crush the hardworking native English people under the boot of global collectivism. The Labour Government cares more about the Citizens of Pakistan than they do of England.
@@Blessed-Beautiful I noticed you said Pakistani Ethnicity, which assumes you were born in Britain and hold British Citizenship. Labour don't care about that at all, they care about importing as many potencial Labour voters as possible.
@@Blessed-Beautiful You do realise most conservatives would not even consider you British, right? It literally took a failed PM for them to begrudgingly put a man of colour in charge.
@@grimnir8872 Yes the insane logic is import as many foreigners has possible because they will all vote Labour. And keep the people poor because if they get better off they are scared to death they may start voting Conservative.
@@bereal6590 True .like the Labour Party reply twice. Dianne Abbot. Chancellor of the Exchecker! Angela Rayner Ministers for Foreign Affairs. It ideas not matter as the Demographic destruction of our Country id almost complete ready for a complete ldlamic takeover. The Channel invaders are nothing to whats coming. Since Mrs Tgstchet Thatcher destroyed the Unions, unfortunately too late to save the Car and other industries the Labour Party is without a cause. MUKBA. Make United Kingdom Bad Again!
Lots and lots of nice stuff for everybody. But HOW will you do it? WHAT will you actually do that is different? Until you answer those questions you will not have my vote.
@@hubert-molendaexactly, tax cuts tend to have a limited effect on boosting aggregate demand when compared to government spending increases or reductions to the base rate
... which can be mostly paid for by clamping down on the gross tax evasion and avoidance by the rich. There's plenty of money squirrelled away in offshore bank accounts.
Look at Welsh Labour in Wales before you vote for Labour next year , I’ve lived under Welsh Labour for years and trust me it’s not a good place to live
The stunning & brave Rachel Reeves got in her big posh car & drove away when asked questions about her opinions regarding a ceasefire in Gaza, whilst on her campaign trail.
I hate the guy but that wasn't his job. Do you think he looked at thousands and thousands of individual cases day in and day out? He was too busy running a department which is a very different job. Have a go at the slimball with pleasure but let's get our facts straight 👍😊
Starmer was DPP 2008 to 2013. This scandal was known by 2010 and he didn’t stop it or frankly do anything. Whilst the man most culpable was the Labour post office minister, Starmer is culpable in his role as DPP. Also the Lib Dem’s (including Ed Davy) were post office ministers under the coalition and they should be held to account as well ( as should any Tory involved) Starmer was the head of the CPS when that organisation chose not to charge Savile - how many lives did that shameful decision impact?
HSBC almost doubled its annual profits last year to $31.4 billion (£26.9 billion) and was the top dividend-payer among UK banks, distributing £8.4 billion to investors. Lloyds Banking Group reported significant profits - their annual profits were bolstered by the Bank of England’s rate hikes which crippled many home owners. Barclays, NatWest, and Standard Chartered - along with HSBC and Lloyds, collectively posted pre-tax profits of around £37.4 billion, surpassing pre-financial crisis highs. The banks conveniently forgot to also increase the rates on savings accounts. How apt! Shell achieved record profits, driven by high energy prices and increased demand for fossil fuels in the aftermath of the pandemic and amid geopolitical tensions. Similar to Shell, BP’s profits surged due to elevated oil and gas prices. Most struggled to pay their heating bill during winter. There is one majority who have become obviously poorer and a minority who have become evidently richer. I am no economist, but I know where I’d like this new government to start trying to recover money to boost the economy first!
it's no good saying what they want to do without at the same time saying how they will do it? where will the money come from? Years ago my claim to fame was heckling Roy Hattersley asking him how the then labour govenment will pay for things. He quite unabasidly said "Oh we are just going to borrow the money". The very last thing we need is an increase in the national debt!
I recently saw a photo of Diane Abbot wearing her shoes on the wing feet. Cam you explain this please? Has she got autism or some other type of illness that could cause this...or is she just backward?
So then time for a lefty liberal European One Nation Conservative Government of a European centre-right mentality to rejoin the European Union, deal with the reasons for Brexit, protect our United Kingdom, repair the Northern Ireland Peace Process, be a lovely country in the world mediating for peace, at the heart of the European Union & the world and support aspiration & proper compassion in equal measure.
If you want to vote Labour in next year then look at what Welsh Labour are doing in Wales in my country , 23 years of waste , 23 years of decline , 23years of shambolic healthcare , 23 years of tyranny , 23 years of destroying the tourist industry , 23 years of ruining public transport , 23 years of terrible road infrastructure, 23 years of corrupt councils , 23 years of misery under a party that are voted in by a handful of ex miners and red trotters , put you’re tick in the right box , even the mighty flip flopper Corbynista Starmer can’t control his nationalist puppet in Wales
If you believe labour, you need a quite word with yourself. More debt, more illegal immigrants, no boarders, more crime and socialism, were everyone is poor. Reform Party for me.
