This video couldn't have come at a better time. Ghostface is basically the reason why I bought this game in the first place and this reset I made it my own goal to only play Ghostie until I reach the iridescent rank and see the improvements! This is just what I needed

What a useful and needed video! I just got Ghostface on Monday for my birthday, and watching experienced killers play helps me out a ton in matches. Great video!

Played on the crow map the other day as Ghost face too. Got the 4k but it was really close, down to the last gen with a ninja Claudette and a slippery motorcycle girl (forgot her name). Fortunately the last 3 gens were pretty close to each other so it was easy to manage. I had Mori (cuz they're all just catching dust so decided to use one of my many moris), Philly and the one attachments that instantly restore night shroud when you break a pallet/door. For perks I used thrilling tremors and jolt for gen defense followed up with Blood warden and Noed (which I didn't get to use cuz they never popped the final gen). I downed the motorcycle girl and I was expecting the ninja Claudette to go for the hatch but no she went for the save and it went downhill from there for them. 😅 It was pretty close.

Ghostface is by far my favourite killer. When I first started playing, I made a rough decision, and decided to main him. Thankfully, videos like these exist; and have massively increased my ability to play as this decently weak killer. Thank you Spooky!

I'm a prof ghost face. He's my favorite killer. My ghost face isn't too stacked ability wise, because there's no fun in being too overpowered. I LOVE stalking from strange places to give players a more scary in game feel. Like standing inside of manor Windows, and just standing there using stalk, disappearing, and popping up in front of them the direction they run in. The only time I bad manner players is if they're a four stack of sweats trying to disrespect with multiple flashlights. Those players.....those players go to the basement.

I actually liked the reworked music before they changed it a second time. His terror radius music is clearly better though. I love playing Ghost Face and just got him to P3, I own all his outfits, and even have his Devil Shroud (the skin you were using) in real life as a cosplay.

That new 60 second duration on the Marks is great, it means you don't have to rely on 99% stalk as much but can instead do longer range Marks and then catch the survivor later if you want.

One game I played before the mmr thing dropped I was playing Ghostface on coldwind. I managed to mark everyone and kill them within the first minute. Fastest game I ever played, it was honestly insane

This is an older video but still excellent advice for how to improve your games as this Killer - there is still a lot to learn for him! This is roughly how I play him too! I go for a mark and rushdown approach, and try to do loop mindgames. I also run info, info, info, regress (I swapped one in recently for the Knight's Hubris though because frankly, I suck at judging pallet drops, and I've been playing around with how it feels to just... down them for their mistake of stunning me). I find the reveal mechanic can be very useful for determining where people are too, if you use it right, like a bonus information perk. I'm usually able to at least 2k most games, unless I end up in a long pallet town or jungle gym loop. One thing I really like to do is bring both the add-ons that cause Oblivous, so regardless of if they reveal me or not I can hide and come back, as if I got the Stalk off. It's great for mindgames and jumpscares! Using Night Shroud behind corners during chase to mark from distance, then coming out of it when they can't find you and think you're gone isn't a trick I thought of but that's clever! That sort of fun clever play is exactly why I play Ghostface so often; he's so fun. :) And it is absolutely INSANE that "Philly" is such a common item in the Bloodweb for how incredibly useful it is, too. It should be purple at least, it's that damn good.

For those like me who don't have Lethal Pursuer, BBQ & Chilli is a nice substitute. Even more now with the rework because you can expose multiple survivors and if you're quick enough, you down one, hook 'em and find out where the other exposed is with BBQ because they'll probably be stealthing and playing safe. I'd also recommend the walleyes matchbook for ghostface beginners (including me) because I do indeed love having my power 100% of the time

Wow, so that means you started playing a few months before me yet I look at your playing and then my own and it's night and day lol I don't have much spare time to game dbd tbf-it just shows what a difference practice makes. Some people talk about just needing certain perks and a small bit of game knowledge and that's pretty much all you need but it's not true, practice really is essential. Possibly the most satisfying Ghost face games I’ve ever seen

A lot of people would forgo an injured target for a marked target due to sunk cost fallacy, a good way to think of marking to avoid this would be to see it as temporarily injuring a survivor for 60 seconds without any of the extra tracking a normal injure would give.

thank you for showing people how to play the ghost face. so many i come across just camp players on hooks. his skills are so good that camping dumbs him down to flat earth thinking levels. i dont know if its just bad players or if ghost face tends to draw the worse players. i have seen there are some good ghost face players but after have 4 camping ghost face games i just have ptsd when i see ghost face. you give hope that even if 10% of those players try and learn him thats still special.

You should have used drivers license addon stops the engine from running when marked and build up momentum speed when you chase them and one hit shot when swing (tbh its very slept on perk needs to be used more from the pros)
