Letra :v Feel like sun on my skin So this is love, I know it is I know it sounds super cliché But you make me feel some type of way This is falling, falling in love, yeah Mh-mh-mh-mh-mh-mmh, yeah I got a lot on my mind Got some more on my plate My baby got me looking forward to the end of the day What you say? You and me Just forget about the past, throw it in the trash What you say? You and me Live the life we never had like we're never going back Feel like sun on my skin So this is love, I know it is I know it sounds super cliché But you make me feel some type of way This is falling, falling in love I know it sounds super cliché But you make me feel some type of way This is falling, falling in love (yeah) This is falling, falling in love (ooh) This is falling, falling in love
Uh these days it's mostly playing songs with a metronome since I realize I have bad tempo. Otherwise, I try improvising and messing with chords or practice more difficult strumming or picking techniques. I usually try to challenge myself with these covers, either in musicality or in technique, so the songs become good practice for me. I don't really have a strict routine, it's more just doing what I feel like working on this day. Starting out, I had more of a routine of doing finger exercises. I would basically do like pinky exercises or practice barre chords for an hour while watching tv. I'm kind of weird where I like doing painful, repetitive tasks, so I don't recommend just sitting and practicing the F chord for half an hour, I would recommend just learning a song that's a bit difficult for you and practicing that until you master it since that is more fun and less painful, and you get a new trick to show off.
I've been playing for about 8 years now, but I didn't get to practice much after my first year. I started practicing more when the covid lockdowns started, so I improved the most in the last 3 years or so.
Thanks! There's a lot of songs on my list, so I don't want to add more. However, I really like JVKE's songs, so I will be covering them eventually in between the other covers if I get spare time.
