This video has come at exactly the right time for me. If I'm reading the signals correctly from my ex we are moving forward, thanks in part to your advice and help. As you say, not an easy path at the start, but moving forward. We are currently speaking, our conversation is getting easier, with her asking deeper questions and me matching her speed, not pushing, but encouraging. We meet at a dog park Fridays with friends, for an hr or so. She has not unblocked my phone since the breakup, being a bit guarded, but there is mild flirting going on between the both of us, touching and gentle ribbing and mildly flirtatious banter. Me and my ex long story short had a fight almost two months ago, I tried fixing it for a month and 3 weeks ago we broke up officially. I messed up by taking some things for granted in the relationship without noticing but now I see it perfectly and i'm already changing. When we broke up she told me that at the moment she doesn't see a future of the situation, and I understood and respected it by not texting her for a while. It broke her heart when we stopped each other's tracking app (we were both ok with seeing each other's whereabouts). When I realized how bad she was feeling I texted her and since then we talked more or less. I tried to reconnect with her after that, trying to be there for her and trying to make her feel understood and heard and we started talking more and more, she started to ask me opinions about stuff what she haven't done since the breakup. A few nights back she mentioned a birthday party we both were supposed to attend together but it's her friend so I would've just accompanied her. I told her how nice it would've been to go together, she approved. Then, I told her how it made me feel and just wanted to be honest that I miss her. We talked about how lucky our next partner will be (she said that she'll get the more mature me, which means she already sees a change in me that I promised?) and how hard was it to say that. She told me that if we're really meant for each other then we'll surely get back together sometime. We continued to talk and then I told her why I stopped my tracker app and why I didn't text her. I wanted to give her space to heal. She absolutely thought that I had enough and wanted to get rid of her. EVERYTHING CHANGED AFTER THAT. We were both talking super well, she thanked me for explaining why I backed down then. We started talking about rebuilding the friendship and possibly the relationship (we were first best friends and then we got together, so our relationship really had a friendship foundation) she even made a sexual joke that in essence said that maybe we'll have sex someday who knows. She's usually pretty shy about these and it's the first time I heard her talk about this since we had that fight 2 months ago. I loved talking to her that night. SHE EVEN ASKED ME IF I WAS FREE AFTER THE PARTY SHE WAS GOING TO. I was shocked to see that and I agreed that we could meet. We talked even since everyday, she seems engaging sometimes but still doesn't reply the way she used to, the energy from that night is missing too. She was keeping me updated with her dress she was going to buy for the party but never mentioned anything about it since. Should I be worried she may change her mind? Should we talk maybe a little bit less? Even she told me to even double text her if she's not online because she's busy sometimes, but also enjoys talking to me and her phone is "very dry". We have 3 weeks till the party and I am super curios about our "date" as she mentioned it. I hope it wasn't something she may take back in the days to come. Any opinions about this?

We broke up about 4 months ago. We have a little boy together so there's always a connection. When we broke up, I thought there was no chance we would ever get back together. I would have bet my life on it. Since then though, we've definitely reconnected on a more personal level. I really miss her and the family we had. I told her that and that I don't want to let her go so easily, I still love her. I wasn't begging and told her i'd only ask once, which is true. She replied saying she's not ready to try again yet, confused, doesn't want to rule it out though. She said she's unhappy and lonely. It was her choice to break up by the way. Anyway, just recently we had a day together as a family, with our little boy and her daughter from a previous relationship. It went very well. I couldn't have imagined we'd do something like that at the time when we broke up so it feels like huge progress has been made, but in the week since that day out, she's kind of pulled back. I've noticed it. I'm trying to be positive, hoping she's just keeping herself in check. I don't want to rush. I dont want to get it wrong, break up again and break my little boys heart again too. Progress has been made but one thing is for sure....this is going to take some time!

Hi Clay, I guess is too late for me because my ex wants to be friends and I didn't accept, I wish him good luck in his life and he wishes me the same, he didn't even try to reconcile or talk about it🤷‍♀️.

Hey Clay question for you. If your ex is not serious about the rebound why would it be so difficult to end that with someone who there not invest with or have history not getting bud or feeling

Clay what does it mean when she asked for a second chance when we met back , said she never fell out of love with me etc, then changed her mind a month later.
