even though it was a 5 reset, it seemed a slow paced play(freestylers go to 300-600 mmr lobbies to be able to do that with no interruption), in a real competitive environment you don't have the time to do that therefore a fast paced 1 or 2 reset play is way better looking

Did you do this right after the season reset? This video just goes to show you how messed up the RL ranking/matchmaking system is when GREAT players are stuck in low ranks - it's likely because they're getting a slew of bad teammates. I was D3/C1 in both 2s and 3s before season end, now I can't get out of Plat 1 in 3s because I'm getting tm8s who own goal, pass to the opponent in front of our net when I'm not back, double commit, team bump constantly.
Bro if you dropped from D3 in 3s to P1 you're absolutely the problem. I'm shit at 3s I'm D3 and I can solo carry a D1 3s lobby without any issues. I know this cus I dipped into there briefly at one point.
@@pigspoon5751 CAP - but please prove me wrong. Since it's so simple for you - upload one of your matches where you've won a 1v3 against 3 diamond 3s on your RU-vid channel. There should be many replays to choose from if you're actually playing D3 as of lately since matchmaking has been horrible. I'll wait.... PS (edited) - I'm D3/C1 again now so yea, definitely the season reset that screwed me but keep on spewing trash.
@@budshoot6951 I didn't say vs D3's, I said vs D1's because they're omega slow. You can win just by dribbling and using fast aerials. Not at all claiming I can do an actual 1v3 more making a point that as 1 player you can carry the other 2 idiots esp in fucking plat lol I'm glad you climbed out of the depths of hell though

This dude just peaked in the casual 2s game I just played. I'm usually plat 1 or 2 in 2s so that's the level players id probably play with in casual right? Either way, my teammate and the other team were pretty even and we even did a best two outta three and it came down to the third game. In the third game a dude on the other team made a sick double tap. No signs of being able to do that during the previous two games.
I'm noticing a pattern where YT content creators often underestimate the ranks of platinum and diamond. I'm d2/d3 as of last season, and I've seen some crazy stuff. We have a lot of mechanical players in the mix that simply have bad rotation, but also just generally great high speed plays scattered throughout.
Nope, if anything people overestimate them. The most mechanical thing I’ve seen in a game from a diamond is a whiffed wall shot. If they had any sense of hitting the ball and mediocre rotation they would be champ

With Montage 5, I can say that I, as a C1, play with buddies that are around GC1-2, and have seen myself play with them better, so it could be a player who just plays with higher level players more often than they do ranked.
Striped I played rocket league for 2 years I'm at Gold 2 Div IV Nearly A Plat Plus I peak a lot that Made some insane progress and insane goals. I can musty tho, And Basically I can Ceiling pinch double, Air dribble double double with musty. FLIP RESETS IMMLEARNING
I think they knew off the bat that the final guy was SSL 1. no SSL montages earlier in video and ofccc they had to have atleast one 2. obviously the way they played 3. The fact that it was the final montage 4. The names of the players (Leth, Fishy, etc) That’s just what I think though. Still a great video!

#3 that shot is real, I can show you some awkward physics that will flip your mind that spook luke set into motion after watching his training video on flip rolling shots.
Plats and Diamonds are just places where you see people hitting the nastiest shots but then whiff on a simple tap in 15 secs later and thats why theyre still stuck in that rank
You guys need to understand that diamond players and low champ are beasts, they only dont rank up because they are not consistent. Remember these are highlights of their best moves
@Swamp Rat for real. I've noticed a lot of content creators and pros seem to think Champ is remotely close mechanically to GC or SSL but it's not even on the same planet skill wise.
@@cscott3401 I've been in the d3-c2 range for a year because I don't play super seriously, and the only ppl I've ever played who can do stuff like that are mid-high GC smurfs lol. It's really bad right now too with the new season
@@swamprat5815 maybe you are talking about the c1 at #6, but that is me, I was c1 div4 in that, but weeks later ranked out of champ and now till this day just hanging around gc2 consecutively
