Also , please don't forget that I'm just small RU-vidr with 900 subs , so if something was wrong in the video , I'm sorry, I'm still learning. But if you enjoyed it , please don't forget to put a like on it 🙂
I was shocked when i scrolled down to see 900 subs. I'm not criticising, just wanna clarify: Typically you'd want to call them 4WD. 4WD implies general power delivery to front and rear, AWD implies constant power to front and rear, 4x2/4x4 implies locking differentials and transfer case. Just specific terminology I suppose. I actually enjoyed watching this video quite a lot even though it's my job to know this stuff. I'm now going to watch your other videos, there is so much more content! I love it!
Thanks friend , for clarpifying this terms for me. I didn't know that there is such a difference between AWD and 4WD meaning, but now I know that and I won't make such mistakes in future :) Very glad that you enjoyed the video , my channel is small, but I work on the content quality as much as I can and hope in future more people will notice my channel 🙂 Hope you will like other videos too )
@@vertviger If this video appeared on my recommended when hardly watch beamng videos, it'll appear on many other peoples recommended. Just give the algorithm some time and you'll have a nice audience, your content is already high tier.
Love the video bro, very informative and beautifuly edited ! About the question for the transmission: i think for pro offroad they use some kind of auto with torque converter or something but im not sure, you would need a beefier drivetrain as a whole🏁
Glad that you like the video , bro :) Yeah , I heard about this specific type of transmissions , I think that I should find some additional info about it. It's pretty interesting !
You seem to be talking about powerglide transmissions. They're 2 speed auto that are very lightweight, short, simple and have a lot of aftermarket parts. Powerglide is from GM and is a common option for 2sp transmissions with extreme motorsports like drag, etc. Being only 2 speed, the driver doesn't have to be bothered by the transmission changing gears inconveniently, relying on the torque converter. They need an active ATF cooler since such a high load on the torque converter generates a lot of heat.
@@squareeyes1117 Wow , I actually didn't know about that type of transmissions! It's very interesting and maybe I should make video about 🙂 Because even that I'm a car guy , I didn't know about it , so it could be interesting for a lot people You really know a lot about off-roading , that's so cool )
@@vertviger I'm just a mechanic... Unfortunately 🚫💲 If you're ever looking for some information, you're welcome pick my brain and ask me about anything.
@@squareeyes1117 I see With your knowledge you can start your own channel, explaining common mechanical issues with car and showing how to fix it , that would be interesting )
Oh, I'm sorry that I mixed up the terms ( Did it change the meaning of the video? And what should I have called it, because I'm not a native English speaker (I think you could hear it) and I'm a little confused about some words. As I understood the big one is SUV , but how should I call a smaller one ?
@@vertviger there both suvs the rav4 and the beamng suv a jeep is a brand of car its totally fine like the big suv just would be more of a all terrain suv
@@samwheeler878 I see , thanks for explaining me that , friend ) I just wanted to point out in the video that Roamer is a lot more off-road car , so I called it a Jeep (but this is actually a brand name) , so All terrain SUV fits it much better 👍
