A little carried away with the vent hole maybe. Lol I like putting a piece of the tape down and cutting the vent through that. Just my preference so maybe the hole doesn't rip bigger. I usually only cut a hole about the size of a half dollar, in that x shape, and leave it open up to a week on corn. Either way, whatever works to get the job done and your happy with the results is all that matters.
@@TheFarmingLife I've been lucky, never had problems on a whole bag. I did have a brand of bag one year I think the plastic was on the brittle side and the cold in the winter made it worse because when I was digging silage out if I got rough around the plastic it would split 10-15 ft down the bag. I guess that's what I worry about and put tape down to cut through. Good luck
The Farming Life I wasn’t talking about a tractor pull, I was talking about stuffing the bucket. Looks like you had to play with the material before you could even load the bucket i’ve had my new Holland for three years and I don’t ever remember having to pull the top of the pile down on any type of material so I could get a full bucket. Just saying it didn’t looking very impressive to me.
I guess I shouldn’t have mentioned New Holland that’s like waving a red flag at a bull. So how about something we can both agree on, that new son of yours sure is a good looker. Congratulations!
