For 2012 i suggest "no hrt, marussia and caterham" so vettel didn't crash in malaysia, there were no safety car in Valencia, and hulkenberg did pass Hamilton clean in brasil, and grosjean and Maldonado were actually clean drivers so Maldonado didn't crash in Australia and Valencia and grosjean didn't stick his nose between Hamilton and wall which resulted bowling at spa, and Kobayashi didn't overheat his brakes in same race (i really want sauber double podium at spa), perez didn't slip and wins Malaysia, and let's ignore grosjean dnf in Valencia - i really hope he wins so there will be 10 different winners in 10 first races.. sorry for large suggestion.....😶

How about for 2012, take away, Redbull, Hamilton and Alonso ? At least in my opinion that would be an interesting scenario do explore, since the season was great, and by far the best season on F1 modern era, no debating.

Where'd you get your line chart from? Ive been doing a Red Bull-less 2024 and id love to have that visual element :))

I did it in google sheets! (you could do it in excel as well if you prefer that to google sheets) I typed out the points going up race by race for each driver I wanted on the chart (with the name of the driver/team down the way and the abreviations for the races across the top) then selected it all, went to "insert", and selected "chart", then selected the line chart from the "chat type" menu on the chart editor (If it comes up as a line chart with the rows and columns the wrong way you'll have to tick the "switch rows/columns" option in the chart editor btw. And keep in mind this is for google sheets, not sure if it'd be different in excel but I'd imagine it wouldn't be too far different) Hope this helps!

Shows that if there was another mid driver in 2013 alongside Webber (like Grosjean, Maldonado, Massa) RB wouldn't have won. How people say it's the car for Vettel is beyond me. He absolutely just did not win, he obliterated the grid.

I can say this again… in 2013 Fernando Alonso had achieved the impossible, he won the World Championship with Ferrari when it was run by the Italians

Goes to show he's more of a race day driver than a qualifying day driver. He can definitely be great in qualifying (Monaco 2023 for example), but as seen here he's generally better in race trim

This has actually happened twice before in the real universe of F1. First was Denny Hulme in 1967, second was Niki Lauda in 1984.
