If you’ve been watching the news, or my channel, you may have heard that Americans are running away to Mexico to live out their days listening to mariachi and sipping margaritas with a taco in hand while enjoying a lower cost of living. That sounds amazing, right? And I may or may not be one of them. But wait a minute, isn’t Mexico dangerous? There’s like cartels and poverty and scam artists.
So, why did I, and the over one million foreigners living in Mexico decide to move here? Well, that’s what I’m going to be talking about in today’s video.

Americans are expats in Mexico but we are illegal immigrants in the US? This is why our people are having a hard time paying for their own rent because Americans move to Mexico because is cheap and more convenient

Not all Mexicans are illegal immigrants in the US, only some. Not all Americans in Mexico are expats, only some. The debate in the US continues around illegal immigration, the focus is not those immigrants from around the world to seek to contribute to the country within the law. Se le puede llamar una falacia lógica su argumento. "Your people" do not pay higher rent around the country due to a few foreigner enclaves, rather in concentrated areas. Still an issue worth discussing of course. Por lo que veo aquí, los estadounidenses que viven en México suman unos 1.6 millones mientras los mexicanos (legalmente e ilegalmente) en EEUU son 37.2mn. Dependiendo de la fuente/estimativa, los mexicanos que entraron al territorio estadounidense ilegalmente suman unos 10 mn, las estadísticas varían muchísimo dada la falta de documentación entre las cruces clandestinas.

They are both immigrants (I hate the term expats) but 80% of DACA recipients are Mexicans so it's not a hyperbole to say most illegal immigrants are Mexicans. And don't forget that the majority of 'Americans' in Mexico are people born to Mexican parents (often while illegally being here) so blame your own people.
