About 20 or more years ago a student who was part pre-American invited me to join the diversity group. I said "oK", bein interested in relatin to folks in my environment but havin no idea what such a thing would become. Wr-Alda The Oldest One was watchin out for me, because He arranged for some fool at a library desk to rant to me about "shanty Irish" for like 3 minutes while I stood with mouth agape. An Irish-American student saw me listenin, and took it that I agreed with the ranter, so I got a letter from the president delivered by a state trooper to my house, sayin that I was no longer allowed on the campus. I figured it was because they mistakenly thought that I was anti-Irish. Back then the campus was largely Irish, but now it's mostly black. I waited about 12-15 years for the heat to die down, now there is a new president, new staff mostly, so I am welcome.

Matt and many of us are talking about a critic sitting down and watching the movie then analyzing it based on the actual content of the movie, how well executed it was, if it's theme was in line with the tone, if there were any inspirations that seemed to be apparent in the movie's style etc. That's what a review *actually is.*

I was just on another video where people were talking about the forced trashing of inventory. This is because inventory is going to push businesses into a higher tax bracket, and caused them to either raise prices on the average buyer, including the poor, or sink their own business. Most people don’t realize how many times every single item is repeatedly taxed and how hard it is not to let taxes sink you even if your just someone trying to rent but your area’s property taxes are too high. It sounds all well and good to listen to Bernie Sanders hopeful solutions, but his math doesn’t math with reality, and I’m not trying to pick on you or even him. He doesn’t get it yet, if he did he would better understand why sometimes the best approach is a hands off approach. I appreciate you stretching yourself, but the truth of the matter is the longer we seek the truth (including my used to be manipulated into fearing and hating Trump self) and really think about the consequences of the more liberal ideas and really think about how things should and shouldn’t be done the more you see how unbelievably flawed Rhino’s against Trump, and Democrats like Harris saying she will work for middle class to be supported with housing projects really are harmful. The negative effects that many taxes have are undeniable, but on paper it sounds good to say tax the rich and their businesses till you realize your pushing jobs out of the country, making it harder for the poor to be the middle class, and really just forcing the opposite of what they say they want. And Harris pretty much is saying the middle class will be the next government supported poor, that’s slavery, not good. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the tax money from Dollar Tree smashing their inventory under 3% went towards a piece of artwork to save the environment as we look at how one percent of New York taxes that are supposed to go towards buildings actually go towards so-called art where the artist are selected based on their propaganda not what people actually want. Remember, even Hunter Biden isn’t just a business man and druggie making money in Ukraine it seems he has internal “art” sales. The more you look into things the more you move as far away fro the side that tells you they hold your values and you go to the side actually just getting things done and not being a hypocrite trying to play God and failing. Every year when you pay your taxes, you have the option to pay them more. If sanders wanted to really prove himself, he would pay the government without the government asking for it, but he knows what we all know we do a better job spending money on what’s best to spend money on, the government sucks at it.

I had much the same childhood as you did, I grew up in de-humanizing poverty - hungry all the time. Today I have an eating disorder. Absent father, mother only had a 6th grade education. Absolutely zero guidance in my life. I'm 73. Out of 6 kids I am the only one in my family that graduated high school and college. I was 50. My greatest lesson - kids NEED a stable environment to flourish. I was unable to stay focused. My greatest regrets - that I never stayed with learning French, violin or becoming a great seamstress. My unsolicited advise - be VERY disciplined, no matter what stayed focused on the your goals and give up everything else for them. If calculus still interest you take a community college course, there seems to be college funding for 'minors' right now. If not calculus, take a different course. Whatever you do, do not hang out with people whose lives are going nowhere. I did that for a long time until I managed to escape. It takes courage and strength. I feel for you because that was my life. I agree with you, don't let people call you an African American. You are American. My heritage is French and Irish. I have never said I am French American. I am wishing you all the best. And oh yah, volunteer that is how I got as far as I have. Teach a kid struggling with calculus.

I am American born as was my father and my mother became an American citizen when I was a child. The Left has a history of "punishing" entities by attempting boycotts**, but I believe there is more to it in this case. Their problem is that the movie is both irrefutable and entertaining --- at the expense of the Left. Seeing the movie is equivalent to opening the door of their skeleton-filled closet. Once a person gets a good look inside it's all over. There's nothing whatever that they could possibly say by way of explanation --- the contents of the closet speaks for itself.
