Apparently everyone here just wants to be mad at me for not stating every single correct thing about cars. It was a dumb joke I guess, but there's no need to start with calling someone stupid over something so trivial. I wasn't hating on anyone or anything, I wasn't trying to harm anything, it was an innocent joke. Of course I realized there was something wrong with the deal between Ford and Ferrari. No dignified person goes to sign a contract and then backs out with no reason. That's immature and stupid. But facts like that aren't funny. I didn't just learn about this contract that Ferrari backed out of and go "haha, contracts are hilarious", I learned about it and found humor in the rivalry it created between Ford and Ferrari. Then, I related it to the rivalry between Ferrari and Lamborghini and thought "wow, pretty funny how Enzo's interactions with business minded men led to rivalries". No one's impressed by your blatant attempt at being smart. Smart people don't attack people over knowledge because they realize they don't know everything.

It was slow, kind of ugly, and expensive (especially considering it's competitors: Chevelle, Camaro, Callenger, etc.) It only became decent when Carroll Shelby was hired to completely re-do it, even then, it was still worse than it's competitors.

@@8th_Hokage0fth3hiddenleaf If you look at statistics, Ford is not even close to the best. Ford has the 7th best selling vehicle, excluding motorcycles, which is not even close to Toyota and Honda. Toyota and Honda each have 3 vehicles on the list (and if you're including motorcycles, Honda wins by a landslide.) But maybe you're just talking about sports cars. I read that the Mazda Miata was the best selling sports car for 31 years. In terms of reliability, Ford is 18th on the list. That's not great, especially since their vehicles aren't anything special. They are made of cheap plastic, and they don't look great either (which is just my opinion, but most people like other brands more, or they would sell better.) If you want to keep believing that Ford is the best, I can't stop you. You've already turned to the dark side of cars.
