The reason I can keep playing Forza is trying new cars or new tunes, there are probably like 50 to 100 cars we don't use collecting dust so I make sure I drive everything for at least a race or few miles. I haven't focused on grinding I just treat the game as a test driving game.
@@meatmanmagoo lol, you can have standards and still have fun. If you enjoy it that's absolutely fine, if he doesn't it's also absolutely fine and it doesn't mean he doesn't know how to have fun.
Same here! Also I love how easy it is to tune cars on Forza, the discription they give really helps understanding how tunes work and what-not. I fun fine tweking cars to get those extra few miliseconds or drift points.
You will get bored eventually I’ve been playing since the first Horizon. This company does not care about making the game better. It’s literally the same rebranded game, with a new map. They couldn’t even come up with a good DLC It’s the same hot wheels is garbage.
I was so excited when the donut story was announced. I fantasised on some episode from up to speed, the memes the budget challenges... but nothing happened When I told my friends why I was so excited about it they may have taken a look at their channel. But after a disappointing presentation they didn't. I can't blame them at all, I got bored too
Forza has absolutely nailed the physics of a simcade game and the graphics are amazing. If the map was better and the content was actually good this would be the perfect game. Sucks it isn't.
Yeah it is too bad most of the map is empty and just bland. Some map like midnight club 3 or nfs underground/ MW or something but bigger would've been amazing. Meanwhile the crew 1 while having a much larger map still doesn't have that much empty stuff like this game.
@@tilburg8683 Yeah, horizon 3 or even 2 had way better maps in my opinion. The crew 1 had a cool map, obviously not that detailed because of the size but it had some good driving roads and many cities. Would consider it one of the best open world maps in racing game of all time, but honestly there isn't that many great maps. The new need for speed looks somewhat promising though. Horizon 5 has almost no city which sucks, the roads are dead and even the offroading is lackluster. There is almost no elavation in the map either except for the volcano.
Fh1 had everything. Festival Vibe, street racing and a good story. The highway is also awesome. It was really ahead of its time. Everything after just fkn sucks. Its so boring. I collected every dashboard for discount of tuning. So i can tune every car. Now you get money gifted. Just boring.
as a Fh5 player, in my opinion, the reason why the game is boring is because theres really nothing to do like daily stuff and seeing all that mess in my map makes it unmotivational for me and im like "where do i start". theres really never anything new to the game besides new cars and maybe a few events every season but thats about it and most people just drive around until they are bored
@@Rashclashcr the online racing is a bit stale because you almost always need to use a meta car to have a shot at winning. There's no ranked mode or anythinthat gives everyone the same car to make it down to player skill. Also most of the tracks are just zoom zoom in one direction for half a minute, 2 turns later and the same thing happens again.
One of the reasons open world driving to me doesn’t feel fun is that the roads don’t feel dynamic. If you go back to fh1 it’s actually terrifying to drive really fast sometimes, the roads are wavy bumpy and whatnot, there are blind crests and stuff like that. It’s just flat smooth roads in fh5, and while sometimes they can be nice, they often feel sooo boring In slow cars.
Part of that is the roads in fh5 is so wide, you can fit like 6 sim trucks next to each other, I did like how FH3 did things, roads were not as wide, but they also had tress and a bunch of other things like right on the sides of the road, the faster you went, the more it felt dangerous. FH4 and 5 to me its not hard to drive 250mph + and its not all that rewarding to me. Idk, I still liked FH3 better, but I like FH4 better for its seasons, where FH5 every season feels the same, one season is browner then the other.
@@VikingDudee I just love how you can blast trhought object at 200+ km/h and it won´t even slow you down, like, he shred a tree and just kept going like it was paper, at least make hitting things punishing.
The sense of speed is so bad they need to rework speed, road width, car sounds other games blow them out the water, I'm enjoying BeamNG far more than the last 3 FH games put together, shame.
What happened to racing games like NFS most wanted 2012 and Split Second or Grid, back then there was a generation of Developers that actually knew what a racing game was supposed to be, how can you feel the intensity of racing when the game is literally just creative mode, no crashes, no screen sway whole drifting, no car accidents , no cops, no hearing the clutch initiate or..its gonna be me that has bring that back
They're slowly heading down the road to losing long time fans.. I've been playing forza since Mortorsport 2 and I'm really tempted to just not buy the next game unless they fix and add new exciting features. There seriously need to start listening to the players and find a way to give us the stuff we've been asking about for years and years. Decals on windows, multicolor wheels, diff wheels front n back, more body kits, more muscle cars and jdm stuff less 1940s race car, private server rooms, I could go on and on about the stuff we've asked for and still haven't gotten for years.. the only good thing they've done recently was the Hotwheels expansion, forza seems to be good at expansions usually. I'm just sick of it at this point, a multi million dollar company can't be bothered to listen to its player base and it's suggestions because they think they know us better and we'll like this dogshit instead.. it's gets on my nerves that they're basically "Haloing" Forza.. literally developing it in to the ground until people are just going to walk away and find something better..
You remember when they had ACTUAL street cars and their respective parts. I feel like they started grabbing at pennies in FM5 when they gave us SHIT cars for the first 6 dlc packs. Then gave us AMAZING cars for the ones we then had to pay for. People who bought the deluxe version were pissed. We miss street cars and their customization. That’s it Forza.
I went back playing FM4 and FH1 on the 360 and those games have passion put into them ranging from all types of cars that you wanna drive for different events to the sense of speed and how fucking fatal it is going over 320+ Kml/H TRYING not to crash on some twisty roads. What you explained all the features that COULD OF been in the game is the reason why I play the older games of the series. The new shit is aim towards the casuals who don't give a fuck about racing games and just want to laugh at the same shitty repetitive joke.
I want some actual story progression in next horizon game. It can be fun for me to just drive here, drive there, race here, race there. But some actual story mode with progressing from slow ugly cars to nice looking supercars would be great
Lol in the last 100 hours of playing I haven't played a race, I just enjoy the game in a different way, testing cars, making a big collection, cruising around the map, especially with friends when there are 10 of us in a convoy, priceless.
Honestly I only play Forza because I like the look and feel of it when driving around and I love the variety of cars and engine swaps you have. Also I think they managed to do great engine sounds with this one. Mostly I just drift around with my RX7 or cruise with an old Mustang and sth like this. I dont have a steering wheel though, I use a PS controller. Mexico is not my personal favourite location but I'm pressing all the thumbs to go to japan in FH6.
The annoying thing for me, is each class, there is a handful of dominating cars and the rest are just... eh. It's always just, swap the biggest engine into the one car that dominates and off you go. It would be nice to see muscle cars trading blows with light weight cars, but it's just not the case.
For someone who uses a wheel, I feel the roads need to have more twists, turns and imperfections so that cars can’t easily do 400+kmh that easily (kinda like real life). They shouldn’t also be that wide, it feels like you’re drive on a runway most of the time. They also need to add more traffic and denser areas, not just open deserts and mountains.
For me it’s always been the graphics and physics and massive car selection, unfortunately the last 2 maps haven’t been as good as prior games and the physics this time around just aren’t my thing, I use to play forza all day long, now it’s a task to play more then an hour 2 days a week. It just feels like the devs are purposely disappointing everyone.
Goose your thrustmaster wheel light on the left is red it should be green. That is why your brake isnt working. You might have bumped the switch out of PS3 mode. Has happened to me before and i thought my wheel was messed up
I hate criticizing Forza because their amount of cars, their breathtaking environments, variety of music, and their overall presentation is something I wished Midnight Club or NFS would come back and do in the 2020's. Those features I do not take for granted. But Forza has done an atrocious job of disciplining the player. The game immediately treats you like a star at the top of his game, offering you a FREE corvette just for turning on the game. And even when you smash into a wall like a total numbnut, there's no damage models, so it's as if you never crashed to begin with. Where is any of the punishment? Where is my incentive to try to be a better Forza driver? How can something be fun when there's no real threat?
Imagine if they removed the rewind and added permanent damage. They would have to add places where you can stop and fix the car. Would literally fix 90% of the problems in the game
@@beansaresodelicious nfs does not hVe mechanical damage like forza. Like you, can get, engine damage trans damage suspension damage. Nfs dosent offer any of that
They need to have a customizable personal avatar, that gets out the car. Combine this with Car Mechanic. Add more capabilities that are also learning moments. Capability to create business using the knowledge the game teaches you. Example paint and body shop, engine builder, dyno and tune, 3d printer to make custom parts, something
All cars in free roam being ghosted, having to start convoys in order to invite people to races, and recycled content are all things that make me sad when I play modern Forza Horizon. And the actual game feels so lackluster compared to the first. In the older horizon games, I loved how all story mode events didn't just let you pick any car from any class, but instead had specific classes and car types which you needed to use to enter the race. It made me actually have to build new cars for different races which felt super fun to me. As far as story mode, FH1 actually made you feel like you start out as a nobody, and had to work your way up along the ranks to gain more respect. On top of that, you weren't just given every car you could ever want right at the start. I remember when I started playing FH5, I had literally received a Bugatti Chiron after about 50 minutes of playing for no reason whatsoever, not even from a wheelspin. With all cars being ghosted in free roam, it doesn't even feel like I am playing with real people, and I have no idea why they did it. Sure, some people ram and stuff, but who cares, its free roam. And ghosting cars in races should be something that the host can select, not something that is mandatory. I also miss FH3 where we could just go to a race event, and invite tons of people from the lobby or around the world to join. Now we have to start convoys in order to invite people, and that goes one of two ways. Either you invite people to join, and nobody joins the convoy in the first place, or you invite your convoy of maximum 3 people to the race, and most of them don't even join. Sure, there is open racing, except the variety of tracks are terrible, with the same 3 races being used over and over and over again. The online experience with this game is honestly so bad, and it makes me not want to play, which is sad because I feel like online is the true heart of horizon.
I've noticed that alot of people are either going back to FH4 or just switching to to racing franchises in general. I feel like they should've just stopped at FH3 or FH4 and just keep adding dlcs because those maps were way more entertaining than the Mexico map. This map just feels dry and dull.
FH3 love at first sight when it first come out with updated graphic & all. Totally going to recommend this channel to my friend his two fav thing car & goose
All I see when freeroaming is either people using Jesko or awd and V12 swapping their every car. Never seen nobody drive like normal person with a reasonable hp having car
Translated by Google: I love Forza Horizon 5, but it bothers me a lot that Playgrounds Games does not take much advantage of the map to add new circuits, new races for the online and expand the map adding city
what we need is a game where you have the number of cars, the graphics, and the world size of fh5, the cops and modifications that nfs 5 has, the physics, modable content and modifications that beam has, and last of all the online racing like iracing and assetto corsa have "minus the monthly sub and charging for every piece of content" and wed have a game that would be played forever.
I haven't been playing much due to the glitches people are using online. Another thing...who ever picks or designs the weekly races must not understand physics. Having s2 cars drive 200 miles through a city doing 90 degree turns without slowing down lol. It seems the devs really just gave up on this game, and have no idea what they are doing. I went back to 4.
I usually spend time building random cars to Drift and then close the game to play CarXDrift. I love Forza, but i can't find any reason to keep playing it.
The reason i stopped playing horizon 5 is that my clutch pedal stopped working. Only in FH5 tho, and i reported it as a bug, but i didn't get any help and no matter what i did i couldn't get use of the clutch back. I loved forza before, i still play horizon 4 because it works lol
Wish these games had VR support. I think Forza Horizon is one of those series that would become a person's whole life if it came to VR. Just driving around chilling and having fun is soo good in VR, and there's no game that does car-chilling better than Horizon.
Fh4 was the fame that made me bored of the series. I remember playing it thinking that I was gonna have to grind a ton to get all the high end cars because of how much races were rewarding, which I was honestly down for. That was until the wheel-spins started giving me insane amounts of money and the best cars in the game, so in just a few hours I had basically finished the grind
We need more illegal street racing games with cop chases in it. Need for Speed could use some competition like it used to back in the old days with games like Midnight Club, Driver San Francisco and The Crew 1.
I quit when horizon 4 came out. There's no Forza Motorsport any longer. It's all Horizon now. Horizon is drift junk and tracks for people who can't drive cars.
Same here. I’m done with Forza. They don’t listen to the community. We want drag racing cars. We want them right back at the ass trip and the dragstrip at the festival. Pretty much everybody. I know want to window stickers indicators and it’s a very easy way to add it if they can sync it to the traffic cars. It’s actually easier to sync it to individual online players.
