Garden Of Joy needs to be either kill switched or patched asap. There is an exploit which allows survivors only to bypass the barrier & get out of bounds where as killers cannot. This allows survivors to explore out of bounds or even keep games hostage since the killer is powerless to do anything about it.

I have no idea how an engine upgrade managed to cause so many issues, i also don't know how this part doesn't have invisible walls, when the devs usually love to spam them in ridiculous spots.

I mean.. it's a literal engine switch, it's bound to cause a lot of bugs. The real issue is why they didn't test URE5 more in the PTB to make it more polished before it hit live.

The reason it has so many bugs is because this games code is really old so the new engine is pushing this old out of date code to its limits to the point we’re it can not function correctly

Something similar happened to me in Nostromo, there was a small loop and you were able to get on top of the rocks, it was near the tiny ship left side of the map

I agree, I love experimenting with glitches in games and trying to get others to join in on the fun. Stuff like this is part of what makes video games enjoyable and worth playing in my opinion

I actually played around with this with friends in a custom lobby. It's fun as hell to run around out of bounds. You can actually fall and land on top of the motel roof, which surprisingly has full collision. Its pretty interesting seeing the motel up close. You can also escape the match from the exit gate side, once the hatch is closed.

This spot is very specific and it doesn't always spawn with the exact same rock pattern making it near impossible to replicate ingame.

Could you also make a video showing the bug in Lerys when the basement spawns in the library area and you can alone the left wall at the basement area to float above the stairs where the killer can't hit you unless they're ranged

Idk if it's related or not, but I played a match on garden of joy a few hours ago and not a single piece of gen progress got done. I couldn't find one person all game (Nea) and when I eventually found her because the 2nd to last survivor alive exposed her location, she was around this area. Wonder if she was too busy doing the glitch the entire match while all her team mates died lol

Literally a squad of survivors did this to me once they saw i tagged them all and couldn't juke me. Pretty sure they were running 4s since they readied up altogether instantaneously and all went to that glitch spot, even when they were all at separate spots. Oh well i wasn't gonna waste the time. Reported them and quit the game

With all the bugs, lag, rubberbanding and exploits, they should just remove DC penalties for the time being. Some matches are unplayable due to the game not working properly, or you get players abusing bugs. That, and the fact that your game randomly crashes and you get penalized for it because it’s obviously your fault that it’s not working.

I just played on a map where a pallet glitched into a truck, 60% of all rocks could be glitched through by both sides, and hooks 2 of my scrounge hooks and 1 generator spawned into rocks. I forgot the name of the map the the main structure was a very small house with a fireplace and a gen on the porch and it had 2 floors.

Just Killswitch the entire game at this point. Honestly I’ve needed to take a break from DbD for a while now and if they just shut down the servers so they could work on getting the spaghetti code back to a semi-presentable state that would be the perfect excuse.

Got dam, haddonfield nerfed, rpd and garden of joy getting killswitched!!??? At the same time!??? Almost the best update ever. Literally just fix the stutters so I can have a blast (mine) being sent to the game, ormond, badham and maybe one or two maps I forgot non stop instead of these three maps plus all the above...... Gotta love map offerings being just as good and healthy for dbd as the nurse and buckle up ftp are.
