I wanted to release it earlier, but I had to wait for RU-vid to unlock 4k. But I'm sure Dollar army never sleeps 💪 I'm not gonna lie drones are pretty cool, but they also make top tier even less about tanks and more of a death match. I like that you can chase helicopters, but it's so easy to revenge kill right now (Like me in Fulda), and AA can even see you up there since Drones can spawn above the battlefield, in radar deadzone. I played all day , and no new map... Did anyone even had a match in it?

The best part is since no one gets the kill from the helicopter it will get crew locked if the person leaves the game before it finishes. Now that is absolutely incredible to think about. Great video man!
@@azmanabdula I think works like the player of the heli crashes into terrain by himself (like, when you do revenge bombing and you crash, the plane will be blocked for 5/6 minutes)
@@donedar3046 there's a 9 minute crew locker, from the moment the match started. If you leave the match but still had vehicles that could be spawned, they will be locked from that time
I have discovered something, something quite interesting. The 37mm M63 shell for the M22, M5A1, and M6A1 has been changed from HE to SAPHE. With a max pen of 32mm's and an explosive filler of 38grams it's a fairly effective round at shorter ranges. This is very much the case for the M22 at its BR. Anyways, a splendid video as usual 😁👍
Oh wow you're right! It's really unreliable and it gets Gaijin'ed really easily, but when it does penetrate it is absolutely devastating! Could be a lot like the Swedish APDS, unbelievably powerful if you know how to aim it right. Just instead of targeting crew like with APDS, with this you're targeting weak spots in armor.
@@hedgeearthridge6807 In the Locust I take 39 rounds of M51B1 APCBC and 11 of the M63 now. The SAPHE is only really good for shorter ranges regardless of what you're shooting at. It's great against Japanese tanks and anything from the sides in close quarters when the solid shot will take three shots to get all of the enemy's crew
@@grahaldmills5930 Not everyone likes keeping half their attention on the skies incase someone decides to drop bombs or launch laser guided or thermal lock missiles at them of which there is no detection method for other then your own 2 eyes. People play tanks for the tanks, not the planes bombing them. And no amount of premium will stop you from getting harrased by aircraft, it has nothing to do with being f2p.

@@grahaldmills5930 right, sorry, i forgot people play ground RB because they love dog fighting, how fucking stupid of me to assume people playing a gamemode named tank battle would want to play their tanks they spent the past many hours working towards. clearly skiping the grind and buying premuim gives you a magic force field that makes you immune to CAS how dumb of me to assume people dont love spending 5 minutes driving to the battle field just to die to a missile launched from the enemies spawn.

Amazing as always Betty! Fun Fact: If you use a light tank tier VII, the scout drone has thermals, just so you know! (Also, squad marker can at least mark the enemy for you, then you can scout them or mark them publicly for your team)
"....no one plays big maps because of CAS, now it's going to be worse....." Actually Betty, for me it got better, as this "update" got me to the point that I uninstalled. It just got waaaaay better
Great run in that last game! Light tanks can really make for a band day when they get on the flanks like that and can move quickly around the enemy area. I’ve done it a few times in the Stryker MGS.

How nice of Gaijin to add drones to the game that spawn with 2 missiles in the enemy AA's deadzone. Im sure this will be very balanced and beneficial to the game and wont be a problem. /s
@@colejones594 The russian drone costs 1050 SP if you equip the proxi fuse HE rockets that the BMP2M has. 1050 SP for two shots. The drones and the spawn zone directly above the battlefield may be toxic, but they're downright under-powered for their cost compared to real CAS vehicles.

I love how the moment Drones were added, people were immediately using them to ram Helicopters. It's fun watching helo's panic when they see you coming but its too late. Great video DOLLAR.

Players: Do the equivalent of hanging hand grenades from their drones by turning them into adhoc anti-heli SAMs. Gaijin:"...." also Gaijin; "Ca-Ching!" from all the sold premiums and packages to newbs who get slaughtered by top-tier players.

Amazing how Dollar can make even CAS-Cancer metastasis look fun. I just want a tank only mode. At the start of the year I tried Ground Forces again but I see myself play less and less of it the higher the Br. goes. I was wondering if I should buy some premium tank so that I don't need to worry about economics and enjoy some special feature it has. Now I no longer want to invest in it. What Gaijin did to kill the mood: Making maps smaller because CoD kids were unable to use the range finder. Adding CAS- Cancer as usual. Answering our request of a tank only mode with drones.
Watching dollar plays actually brings me out of war thunder burn out, also the new damage models makes it at least interesting to be killed and not just stupid
As if we needed any further proof Gaijin doesn't think before doing things, the strike drones are just straight up definitive acknowledgment. There is basically ZERO opportunity for counterplay.
We all spend so long enjoying DOLLAR being the wacky bing-bing wahoo man, that we forget he's capable of the actual 16 vehicle MASSACRES that you see the likes of at the end of this video. Absolutely fucking solid gameplay, dude.

Tip if you have squad mark binded (Set target for squad/ in controls->Common-> last one in basic), you can easier locate the enemies hiding on the bushes, and you'll see where it is on map and minimap.
Dollar, Odd, and Phly are the best Warthunder players I know and honestly have some of the best content on RU-vid. Maybe one day I'll get lucky and be in a game together with the infamous Betty (one can dream right 😂)!!! Until then, keep up the good work and I wish you nothing but the best.
its hilarious watching scout drones trying to kill me in my heli, they are so cute and stupid thinking i dont know what they are up to 3 km away from the battlefield and heading straight towards me.
the problem i've noticed with drones right now is when you're flying a jet (a G91 in my case), even if you fly around 500/600 km/h you won't be able to see a drone until the last moment (frontally) and if you pass it you won't be able to find it again because it's too thin. ofc having a radar helps but when you don't have one finding a drone is really hard on some maps. i think there's a problem with the render distance of drones.
