Whenever new region releases 1. Search for the oculi 2. Do world quests/time gated quests/npc quests 3. After doing both of those things it's time to do chest hunting 100% 4. There u done with the region, it's time to uninstall until new region released
@@kellenzaw5385 I’m talking about when new regions release, the map isn’t that big so I can 100% it within several hours or first few days by playing 2-3 hours a day. And yea I did sumeru 100% too (and tbh it ain’t that bad, ITS the forests were energy draining with that aranara quest, their constant yapping unnecessary stuff, desert quests were SO MUCH better, I liked exploring it a lot)
5 minutes into the video and I have finally found someone who I can relate with: Hates the Exclamation Mark and get rids of it instantly, reads every text word to word, tries to understand it but sometimes it confuses, needs to quest to not spoil himself, 100% the area of each region, builds the character properly, and has lost 50/50 3X in a row lol..😂😅.. Same man same, my favorite part of genshin is exploration and just enjoying the world and music with my pretty and interesting characters as well as getting the amazing feeling of seeing the 100% in yellow, it’s so satisfying truly

They just don't know how to play this easiest game of all time, so they just hate on people. Personally I can do new region in 1 weekend. That's all it takes to 100% new region if you know to use gadgets/puzzles/have an idea of "what is the issue" here... Then it takes only 12-16 hours to 100% said new region in genshin.
Why do you seem so proud that you 100% the map so have I but I take my time instead of rushing like bro that map isn't gonna run away take your time so you dont have to mintpick the rest of the patch
probably because fontaine feels more like a return to form of exploration, its very similar to how mondstadt and liyue felt to explore at the beggining of the game
4 months to 100% EVERY region?!?! Sometimes it feels like it takes me an entire patch if not longer to 100% a new area and even longer when it's a new region.
@@nigelmokfilms7294 Smaller patches sure but the big updates like 2.0/3.0/4.0 take considerably longer than the ones in the middle that add smaller areas.
@@naimadevil9300 It took me until like 4.3 or 4.4 to finish Sumeru, the chasm, and Enkanomiya lol But to be fair at the time when those regions came out I didn't care a ton about finishing those areas since I was experiencing some burnout.
I love how he said "I don't think I'm supposed to be here" 5 seconds later he wonders if there are any local legends (the thing he saw was a local legend at like 22:44)
i am literally the opposite type of a player compared to you. i have been playing for 2-3 years for sure and i only do the story quests andi have nothing at 100%, i think my highest is myb 20ish% but i love this video i watched it on a loop cuz youre really calming and nice to listen to
My highest is 79 but that’s only because i collected every character in inazuma so I unintentionally collected lots of chests and done a lot of puzzles while farming mats for inazuma characters
i just had to sub cuz we have the same playstyle like fr i be investigating EVERYTHING like its just muscle memory at this point its burned into my brain, i must collect it ALL
Glad to discover you, your approach is relaxing, calm, pleasant, and I really appreciate your joy and appreciation throughout the world and having fun exploring and engaging with Genshin I recently began playing Genshin for the first time in May 2024 so I'm so new and there's so much to learn and yet I see so many constantly either burnt out or focusing on interesting aspects that seem to stray away from having a pleasant experience. By the way, I loved your video on Clorinde too by the way, how I found you, and glad to hear you enjoy her so much as well. So many seem to automatically disregard characters and regardless of stats, I think it matters a lot if a certain character actually speaks to you or is able to be resonated with and in her case I'm grateful she's so elegant and dynamic while also fun and engaging to play. Not just about Clorinde, but meant its nice to have discovered you and I think longform content is far more enjoyable to see how others play and enjoy Great commentary throughout your videos, its both insightful, helpful, and joy enjoyable to follow along - keep it up!
I'd recommend you to use the interactive Map to get 100% cause it shows you everything and even if Genshin tells you that you have 100% I can guarantee you that there are still some Puzzles and Chests just left there. For example, you can do the puzzle with the speedrun 2 times, but you only did it once and missed out on a free chest. It's also waay faster to explore with the map.
Honestly it depends on the person, my bf hates the interactive map and would rather watch a video whereas I love the interactive map as I can mark things as found, so I'm never lost. The only thing that can confuse me about the interactive map is that some areas are locked by quest and it doesn't really explain what quest it is. I also can get overwhelmed with so many of one collectible on the map and it puts me off lool
Personally, i like doing it all myself. I tried using the map and god it was so tedious flipping between screens and having to manually mark each thing you find. Besides, there's some element of being a treasure hunter that is so immersive to me in this game. I do the most I can on my own then use the compass/oculi finder when I'm really stuck. These days though, I haven't even needed to use a compass to 100% a region in a while. Its so fun! The other big downside to using the internet to help with treasure hunting is that its flies by like a breeze. Exploration is easily my favourite part about these games and I actually prefer if it lasts me more than just a few days.

My reasons to 100% every place is actually pretty simple. Whenever a new place gets added, it feels so out of place with the other areas that I just feel the need to do it. Funny thing is that the more you do it the more underwhelming it becomes.
Oh I ALWAYS get sidetracked when doing story quests XD and then I end up just exploring the region for like couple of hours instead of actually doing the quest. The pain moment is when I have couple of percents left on the region and have to look for the remaining chests :')
I am glad I am not the only one who in a new region has the memory span of a goldfish and is constantly chasing the new thing In this section it took me so long to clear because I did not think they would hide things so high in the water, but in broken pillars were chests as well
the mora boxes do count cause i also thought im mental thinking they count😭😭 i checked everytime until like 70% and it finally did go up💀 dont worry youre not insane😭
Let me teach you (exploration without guides): 1) do quests in the region first (they may unlock secret paths or mechanics) 2) get the compass for the region, It will make everything much easier 3) if you see a seliee/challenge DO IT, or at least market the location for later 4) start exploring, make use of your characters skills/passives to travel faster 5) if you see those things that give you mora (like the pile of rocks in sumeru or the wooden box in lakes), TAKE THEM, they count for exploration 6) clean off. If you can't find the last chests use the gadget to find oculi, most of the time where there is a Oculus, there is an unexplored zone also remember OCULI COUNTS FOR EXPLORATION, don't ignore them
I get 30-70 wishes per reagion obviously depending on size and i tell people's to explore and do quests to get primos and they always complain like do they even like the game 😂

build xiangling, shes f2p friendly and her ult is insane for damage and pyro application, run her with hydro for vaporize or cryo for melt, make sure you have some energy recharge on her so you can have her ult up a lot, i recommend favonius lance with her.
